Been there several times, always 5 star food. Be patient with some of the rooky servers — they’re in training. Always interesting to engage with them. Food/​atmosphere 4 – 5 star. Excellent value!

Thank god I was downtown during the weekday to take advantage of Café Bleu’s business hours. I was going to get anything they had that consisted of butter, sugar and flour; I wasn’t going to get picky. The lemon bar came with me and it was good. I expected it to be tart, but it was equally tart and sweet. The lemon bar was balanced with a layer of cream cheese and topped with an oat crumble for texture. Way better than expected.

The food is good, and the presentation is phenomenal. The ambiance is very chic and spacious for a school run restaurant.
Everyone is on-​top-​of-​it, it’s like clock work.

To say that my experience was 5 star is an understatement. So much to choose from: sandwiches, muffins, cookies, bread balls filled with spinach…
The staff was upbeat and personable unlike every other Portland hipster coffee shop I’ve ever set foot in. The enthusiasm of the staff was infectious yet not over the top. The only thing better than the service was the melt-​in-​your-​mouth chocolate cookie I indulged in.
