Tiny. I arrived to find that two ladies had taken every washing machine in the place, six if I remember right. One size of washer. Went to 52nd& Flavel instead.

Well, even though I read the previous reviews I decided to come here anyway because I usually go to Spin Laundry which is much further away. Never coming back here again. I know how to wash clothing but one of my items got slightly burned. The chance machine did work for me but I knew I was taking a risk by using it. Also, the drier took a dollar to dry my clothes. Most other laundromats I’ve been to cost 25 cents and dry much faster and are much larger. Also, it took 50 cents without starting the machine. So I then had to move all of my wet clothes to another dryer and pay again. I’ll stick to nicer more expensive places with wifi and a sink and bathroom and maybe even a tv.

First, I’d like to say that the reviewer that said it’s in a bad neighborhood is a snob. Where do you live that you would consider this a bad neighborhood, the Hamptons? The neighborhood is fine. We sat on the patch of grass out front soaking up the sunshine and eating Popsicles while we waited on our laundry and there were no thugs or unruly teenagers out commuting crimes or starting problems. In fact, we only saw nice families walking by with their children or friendly elderly people smiling and stopping to say hi. Anyway, this laundromat is not great and it’s not horrible. It’s a laundromat… it does it’s job and we left with clean, dry clothes.

Change machine — broken. No carts. Washing machine steals money. No bathrooms. Bad neighborhood. No bathrooms. Worst laundromat I’ve seen in a long time.

It isn’t fancy, but it gets the job done. I live in Sellwood, and needed to find a convenient laundromat while my Washer/Dryer is getting repaired. The Sellwood laundromat has closed, and this is the closest one. It is a little small, but I had no trouble getting a machine. For $ 3.00, I could wash my clothes and dry them, all in about 1 hour. I have only been once, but it seems to be just fine. I think the previous poster was too harsh. It is a laundromat, not an upscale dry-cleaner. For what it is, it is more than adequate.

The only reason this place gets two stars is for existing. The machines are very dated and instead of fixing the machines(e.g. Washing stage) they just blanked out that feature. The dryers provide no info as to how many minutes you get for a quarter, no countdown timer, no status at all. You cannot change the wash modes only temperature on the washers… and no high capacity washers at all, which is really the only reason I need a laundromat. These front load washers may actually be smaller than the one I have at home. As for comfort, only one bench and no chairs. Minimal folding tables, no carts to assist moving from top load washers around to the other side of the room to the dryers. No wifi or any other convenience features. Laundromats like this are exactly the reason laundromats are a dying business.

Go anywhere but here. This place is truly a dump. My local laundry just closed so I’ve had to go looking for other places nearby to do my ol’ laundry. I made the mistake of going here. Here is a list of all of the things this laundromat does NOT have 1) change machine(BYOQ), 2) roller baskets, 3) wi-fi, 4) electrical outlets, and 5) enough dryers… on my visit they only had 3 functioning dryers for 12 washing machines. You do the math. Then at 8:45 when the owner’s caretakers showed up to start cleaning I got to watch them tell a young woman that they were closing and she needed to take her wet clothes out of the dryer and go home. She begged them to allow her to get one more quarters worth of time(6 minutes) and with much attitude they finally acquiesced. I couldn’t help myself so I had to ask why there wasn’t either a coin machine, or roller basket here, two pieces of equipment that heretofore I had thought essential to a functioning laundromat, and I was told that a) I was wrong, most laundromat’s don’t have change machines or roller baskets; b) I didn’t need a basket, I could just carry my wet clothes from the washer to the dryer like everyone else, c) if they had one someone would steal it, and d) if I didn’t like it I should go somewhere else… like the laundromat on Woodstock. You should definitely take their advice… go anywhere but here.
