7-Eleven

I recently had an interview on Swan Island and was anxious because the bus service out there is weird so I had ²⁰⁄₃₀ minutes before I could be the requisite 15 minutes early for an interview.
So I’m freaking out trying to figure out where I can go and not have to spend a bunch of money to sit somewhere to kill a little time and prepare for my interview.
It was like all my wishes came true. A 7 11 that had a seating area!!! Pretty sure it was a fast food restaurant prior and it’s the best thing ever. I got a soda, sat in a chair and reviewed my notes on the company I was having the interview with. It helped me relax and I had a great interview, I didn’t get the job but finding this awesome place was worth the 2 hours it took me to get to and from the 20 minute interview.
Their selection was good and decently priced, since the store is larger than most you don’t get that cramped convenience store feeling, the staff wasn’t OMG amazing but they were efficient and prompt.

Pretty good sized 7 eleven. Looks like it used to be a mcdonalds or some type of fast food place. Even has a drive through window. It has a big sitting area that is always empty, would be perfect to add a subway if there wasn’t one right next store. Friendly and helpful staff with a good coffee selection makes it a good stop for coffee after work.
