What a great neighborhood find! We ended up coming in twice in one week. Great service and accommodating to our group. Fish was perfect!

My wife and I were headed to the food pods when we walked by this place. The menu looked good, so we gave it a shot. Excellent food and service. Our server, Tom, was about as good as it gets. The house made crackers with the cheese plate were the best I have ever had. The Cesar was good and my steak was cooked to perfection. Well done, Bethany’s Table.

Food was pretty good, but it’s your typical place where the Bethany affluent can indulge in themselves and feel good about affording a $ 100.00 meal that you can get the same at Olive Garden for $ 20.00

What an awesome dinner-delicious! Perfct space for our big party of 40. The staff was so friendly, well-coordinated, responsive, and upbeat! They were on it! We all agreed that our collective experience was terrific – thanks! #ColumbiaSortswear #HROut

My wife and I went here for Valentines Day this year. It was a good experience. They had a multiple course prix fixe meal. You still had several choices for each course too which was nice. Every course tasted good, my favorite being their truffle gnocchi. I think they did a great job modifying their normal décor for Valentines Day, nice table cloths, roses etc. There have been some reviews about having somewhat boring décor, but we didn’t find that to be the case at least for the holiday. Service was good too, we’d go again.

We had been meaning to try this place, since we live nearby, so we took a dinner group of 5 here on a Saturday night. The Open-Table reservation system works very well and we were promptly seated. Our server was good, despite the fact that we made her wait while we waited 30 min for our 6th person who never showed up. After ordering, three of us received our meals and the other two took another 5 minutes to arrive. This allways bothers me because the first people served feel obligated to wait while their food gets cold. The ala-carte salads were quite good. Everyone liked their entrées, however my stroganoff was a little oddly flavored for my taste. All in all a pleasant experience save for the hefty prices at a neighborhood strip mall bistro.

I notice inconsistency in their menu items and service. Most of the time, they are very good. My last visit there, my friend ordered a scallop ravioli dish, I ordered Chicken Marsala – it was wonderful. We were one of the first customers, the room was very chilly, and the server was not that great. She spent most of the time visiting the other employee’s. We had to ask for her twice.

Have been here several times. It’s a favorite for a date night. Great wine selection and both of our meals from the nightly specials were fantastic.

Incredible food! My caprese salad(with in-house made mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes!) was perhaps the best I’ve ever had, and my mom said the BLT was the best she’s ever had. Fantastic bread too. Wonderful service, excellent menu! I wish I lived closer — I would be here all the time!

This place is excellent! The food was awesome. The Chefs are incredible and the wait staff, Will and Tom, were absolutely fantastic. They were so attentive and offered superb service. My husband and I will definitely return, and will also spread the word about our great experience. Divine Dining Experience!

This is my favorite place for a lovely meal, yummy cocktail and great service! The fact we have such high quality food out here from many quality dining establishments is amazing. Even though I go here often, I rarely write a review because I am enjoying myself so much that I forget. Was just there the other night and had the halibut with multiple types of mushrooms. YUMMY! We had the crab dip. Love that it has more crab than anything else. We did ask for extra crostini. It is really terrific when a place takes service seriously and wants their diners to have a wonderful experience. I could not make up my mind on a cocktail but Janice(server) brainstormed with me. We came up with a vodka martini with a squeeze of lemon and shaken with fresh mint. YUMMY! So happy this place is in my neighborhood!

We have been here several times and the food is consistently fantastic. Bethany’s Table is a real gem in a somewhat arid desert of the Beaverton area culinary scene. They have a great wine selection, and the owners are always friendly and accommodating. The menu changes frequently, but even if you don’t see your favorites, you will surely find something else on this creative and appealing menu. The presentation of the dishes is always lovely, and the food, delicious and well-prepared. The homemade bread and generous soft butter they bring out is something I could make a meal out of! Sometimes when I want a light meal, I will order a selection of their«pantry board» appetizers with a salad.(My favorite is the curry cauliflower.) Vegetarians and omnivores alike will find something to delight the palate. Desserts are always tasty(try their coconut berry panna cotta — so light and refreshing!) Every time we’ve been here, the place is hopping! Reservations are recommended, although they do their best to accommodate walk-ins.

I had the spicy shrimp with polenta and my mom had a lobster salad. My own dish was fairly bland. It came with three large shrimp on top of a bed of polenta. The shrimp were a little tough, and the dish wasn’t really very spicy at all. My mom said the lobster was cooked well, but there wasn’t really enough of it to make the salad a meal since there was not much else on the plate other than lettuce. The place had a nice atmosphere. There were games and things to entertain kids if you went there as a family.

Love this place! We live in the area and have never eaten here. The food was wonderful! It was hard to choose what to have. My husband had the Chicken Marsala which had a terrific Marsala sauce. I had the Beef Stroganoff which was heavenly! Janet, the owner is just delightful. Exceptional wine list with a boutique winery touch from many regions. Jeff is very knowledgeable in his wine. We can’t wait to come back! Lou & Kathy Tosti Beaverton(Tanasbourne)

I really want to be able to go to a local restaurant however the prices here are outrageous for what you get. I have enjoyed the bavette steak in the past, but tonight it came rare instead of medium as how we ordered it. They did take care of it and when we got our bill we noted the starter salads we ordered were $ 10 a piece and our glasses of wine were $ 9 each. These prices are beyond what we would be paying in downtown Portland. I want to walk to a restaurant in my neighborhood that has good food with reasonable prices, this is not the place. Sadly, we won’t be returning due to the limited same menu and the prices. I really thought we had something special here in Bethany. Hoping for something more affordable in the neighborhood. Good luck Bethany’s Table ~ I did note there were less people visiting your establishment lately.

I’ve heard good things about Bethany’s Table from a couple friends and I came here for dinner on a weeknight. PANTRYBOARD(3 for $ 5): We picked these options and all 3 were quite good and I would recommend theme. 1.kale, shaved brussel sprout and rapini salad with a maple-tahini dressing 2.Two types of chorizo from Olympic Provisions 3. phyllo wrapped marinated beef PAELLAFORTWO($ 39): This was a really disappointing dish. The rice was mushy and it tasted like just a tomato based sauce. Paella should have a strong saffron flavor but it didn’t have any. In fact I think the rice wasn’t even yellow from saffron so maybe they left out that ingredient on accident. Other ingredients were quite standard with calamari, prawns, mussles, clams, chorizo, and sausage. The portions were huge because my two friends and I shared that dish and we still had some leftover to take home.

My husband and I both LOVE Bethany’s Table. Sunday brunch is great although they don’t seem to have brunch hours posted on here. The food is always fresh and local and the menu is always changing depending on what is in season. New specials all the time and we always leave happy! Chef Janet is awesome and very friendly actually unlike some reviews in here. Yes there is an adorable dog that is there sometimes but we have been in about 20 times and only seen him twice. I love it when he is there!!! But I suppose if you don’t like dogs then you would have a problem. But he is cute!!! Great food, lovely environment, fresh flowers on the table, good coffee, delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. Truly a gem in this part of town. Not too many restaurants like this in the area. We both highly recommend stopping by!

We have eaten here many times. We have spent a bit of money here, too. It is not cheap. Mostly we’ve been pretty happy. I have written reviews to that effect. We like the local, sustainable, seasonal focus. We learned to ignore some bumpy uneven service. It is in our neighborhood. That is cool. The good food made the uneven service less annoying. The last four or five visits tho’, there has been a little something wrong each time. Not enough to make us say we won’t ever be back, but it’s starting to add up. Water spilled all over me by the server, the chef’s daughter who is pleasant enough usually, without any apology. Our ticket not going in. For an hour. And it was not busy. We watched people come, order, eat, and leave. When we finally asked we received«oh I forgot»(same server) again no apology. I think they took off an entrée from the bill. Noodles swimming in butter(no cheese) plonked down on the table by the chef with no smile or words whatsoever for our ten year old.(who asked what she had done wrong). Both chef and husband owner walk around in jeans with the dog, not greeting most customers, and seem lost in their heads as if they are still in their condo upststairs. Ok. But as someone else noted it doesn’t feel welcoming. This may seem unimportant but honestly being welcomed is part of the flavor of a meal. I’ve eaten more simple meals other places(and less spendy) and been happier simply because we got a smile and a thanks. Last night hubby’s pasta dish was missing ingredients, had bones in it, and wasn’t yummy. My wild Alaskan halibut dish was good… but not great for a jaw dropping $ 32. And then there is the resident dog. While cute(my kid loves her), we don’t believe dogs belong in restaurant kitchens or dining rooms. Not everyone likes dogs. A sign on the door says«warning dog inside»…WTF? Can we even talk about health codes for a minute? People touch the cute dog and then they touch our food. So, while hubby and I badly want a cute bistro in our hood with good food, we are going to take our money elsewhere for a while. Maybe Bethany’s Table is just going through a phase. We will probably try it again simply because its two minutes from our house. But in this economy if we are going to drop that much on a meal… well. You see my point. It’s Portland Restaurant month. 3 Course meals in some of Portland’s better places for $ 29. We are going to take advantage of that for a bit.
