Our son’s taekwondo journey has been nothing short of awesome! He started when he was 5 and is now 8 and still loves it! It is a great outlet for him to burn off his«extra» energy and one of the only places where being the loudest in class means you have a good«black belt attitude». He has further developed and learned many life skills such as self control, self confidence, respect for self/others, perseverance, self defense and physical fitness. Even our two year old daughter, who has been watching her brother in class since she was 6 weeks old, has learned how to count to 10 in Korean! The program is very motivating for children as they are always working towards the next belt rank. At each level there is new curriculum which keeps the learning environment fresh and exciting. Master George and Master Marius do a fantastic job of balancing their fun/firm teaching style. The kids form friendships and they always look forward to seeing each other in class, tournaments and at the occassional«Kids Night Out» parties. As parents we feel the sense of community as we all enjoy watching and routing our kids and each others on in class and at tournaments. The older students, especially the black belts, are great mentors and role models for the younger students too. It is typical for the younger students to hang around until the end of a long tournament day to cheer on their older role models/leaders in competition. It has been and will continue to be such a fun experience for our family. We are really looking forward to Jr. Olympics! Thanks USWCBETHANY, Master George and Master Marius! ~The Grier’s
