They have a 24 – 35LNG list of taps and they always consist of 2 ciders, a cask, a nitro and a spread of sours, IPAs, lagers, Belgians, stouts, barrel aged etc. The only place in town to get a 20oz for 5 bucks on avg and you can bring food from wherever you want.(They have no kitchen, but allow you to bring anything you have before or bring it there or have it delivered)

In a city full of great beers, Bailey’s Taproom instantly became our favorite spot. My first visit was to enjoy a couple cold beers to kill some time before our dinner reservation. We realized pretty quickly we needed to come back again to try all the different beers on tap. They don’t serve food, just beer, and the price is SO affordable. I love their modern way of displaying their draft list. There is a monitor hoisted up behind the bar. You can see what they have and how much is left or what has just been tapped. A flight was 5 pours for $ 10+. Great choice for trying what they have on rotation.

After getting into town a bit late on Friday night, we decided that it was probably worth it to get a few drinks somewhere before hitting the sack. We ended up at Bailey’s, which is not a traditional bar at all. It serves beer only — no food of any kind, nor any other kind of booze — and they have an awful lot of it. 25 unique beers on tap — well documented with styles, ABV, brewery, location, and probably other details I did not look too closely at, as well as countless more in bottles. The folks at the front are approachable and get you the goods quickly, so you won’t be waiting all that long. Perhaps the only downside is that the music was a bit loud at times, but it was nowhere near as overpowering as it would be at a typical bar. You can order beers on tap as part of a flight, or in individual glasses. Either way, the price is quite reasonable, and it’s simple — you circle numbers on a card that has 1 – 25 on it, and those correspond to beers on tap and listed on the screen. I ended up going with Oregon-only beers(why visit OR to drink Evil Twin, for example), and the vast majority were delicious. I indulged my passion for IPAs of any stripe here, as well as enjoying an absolutely delicious stout from Anderson Valley(Huge Arker, a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout). Afterward, I went up and got a glass of Banished Freakcake, a sour-ish fruity beer that isn’t my regular thing, but it was still quite good. In all, you can’t go wrong here — you will find a beer that you like, and it will be at a very reasonable price. The danger is likely that you will end up drinking a few too many! But this really is a delightful spot in the neighborhood from a purely varietal standpoint, and I really liked the much more laid-back, casual nature of a place that is clearly all about the beer and doesn’t feel the need to dress it up more. Easily worth another visit if and when I come back to visit town.

Cheap beer and flights. Service was decent. Beer variety was good as well. Just when not organized well on the system. Unless you write down yourself what beers you’re getting you will be lost.

We visited Portland earlier this month and Bailey’s was on our top 10 list. Such a cool place! So many crafts to choose from and a rotating menu, we had to go with the flights, of course. Also? This place is in the heart of downtown Portland so it was perfect for our day tour around town. Will definitely be back!

Do you like beer? Well what kind of question is that, Who doesn’t like beer? Plus you live in Portland so you pretty much are obligated to be a beer connoisseur. Anyway there are so many breweries around Oregon that it’s tough to decide where you should grab a drink. But oh don’t you worry Oregon has taprooms all over that give you the chance to taste beers from different breweries around Oregon all while staying in the same place. Bailey’s is one of those. A cute little tap room with over 20 different beers on tap that rotate, and lots of different bottled beers and ciders. Their screen is innovative and idiot proof. Shows you the name of the beer, where its from, the type, the color of the beer, and how much they have left in the keg. You can’t order a beer and say oh I thought this was going to be a much lighter beer please give me something else. Also don’t be afraid to ask for a tasting. Nothing is worse than getting a whole pint of something you think is gross. Something else that’s great here is that you can get a 10oz glass. If you aren’t feeling up for a whole pint. My favorite way to go is getting the tasting board. 5 beers for $ 10. I like trying a variety of beers to see what’s out there. The place is a little small for when it gets busy. Apparently there is an upstairs but both times I have been there on a Sunday it was closed. But we get there just in time before the crowd comes to snatch up a table. It’s a nice calm and relaxing place to relax and if you get hungry you can order a burrito from Santeria next door and they deliver it to your table. Baileys is now my regular Sunday drinking spot. P.s I love their hanging lights made from different beer bottles.

I had a great time when I visited Bailey’s Taproom. I visited here with two other friends and the bartender was friendly, and able to provide us with a number of tasters to try out the large number of beers that they have. I was also pleased with their digital tap system that lets you see what we’re getting, its ABV, and how much is still in the keg. I thought it was really cool, but not necessarily something new, since most menus and most bars will tell you the ABV. I just thought it was flashy and kind of fun. The atmosphere is fun, the same sort of wood and metal look that you find in lots of bars Portland. But the place was clean, the staff was courteous, and the noise level was minimal. It was easy to enjoy my drink, and chat with my friends. I’m from out of state, so I was very pleased to get a 20 ounce pour of a stout with 10% ABV, for only $ 5. Oregon is the best.

Was trying to make our way to The Commons Brewery, but Apple maps somehow navigates us to downtown across the bridge –_– Anyways, I saw Bailey’s Taproom as a suggestion somewhere so we just came here instead. Pretty chill spot, and we ended up just getting flights of beer. The best one I tried were the chocolate porter and the stout, worst one was the German pilsner(didn’t taste like anything). 58 oz were around $ 10. I would recommend this place if you’re in the area and want to try/drink some beers.

Really cool setup! They have the taps on a big digital screen which can be accessed online on your phone which is freakin’ awesome! I love the ability to see how much is left. Very convenient location and great selection of taps!

The only thing is the food service. You should go over the corner to order some food. But excellent place.

Super cool vibe. Just enough space and some decent outdoor seating too. Love that they have Digital Pour! And Tabbed Out! The neighborhood is a little… shall we say… shady? Between Mary’s clientele and the tenants of the economy apartments above the strip club, drug deals on the corner, and the 7 and counting pan handlers and bums who have asked me for money or — beer! — I would definitely feel a little uncomfortable stranded here alone after dark. I will, however, definitely be back. Beer selection was amazing.

Great little taproom in Portland with a nice selection of craft brews. One thing that I love love love about Oregon is their no tax law! I got a 4oz pour and a 10oz pour for like $ 6 bucks! Can’t get that anywhere in stupid taxed California –__–(jk, I love California). During my last visit I tried the nitro stout and the saison that were on rotation. Both were delicious. You honestly can’t go wrong with whatever they have on the menu. Cheers!

I love Bailey’s Taproom. So so much. The variety of beer is SO great. I love that it’s constantly changing, and their monitors are fun to watch! Bartenders are really nice, and it’s just a great place to sit and grab a pint. Or two. Or three. Who’s judging? It’s also great to sit outside on a warm day. One of the only places that I come back to repeatedly when I’m in Portland!

Hells yeah– beer heaven! I had forgotten I’d been here on my last trip until I got there and remembered the digitized menus that show you how full the keg is. Their board is very descriptive, even giving you origins of the beer. The best part? My 20 oz beer was $ 5, I repeat $ 5. We ain’t in San Francisco anymore. And unlike my Bay Area hometown, I asked the beer tenders some questions before ordering and they were nice, and genuinely seemed to want to help me find the right beer. This is now pretty much a must stop for me in P-town.

We really enjoyed our visit here. How crazy they have Bells cherry stout on tap!!! Unfortunately after getting it it just wasn’t quite the same as the last time I had it at killer burger but cool they had it. Music wise they were playing consistent great hip hop. One thing that’s cool is they do pours and for a reasonable price. I like that b/c you can try hella beers without getting full so quickly. it’s a very laid back chill environment which sits us perfectly. They do have a geeat tap selection and the best part for me is they show you a picture showing how much is left in the keg as well as letting you know when it was trapped. They’ve got a decent amount of seating and they also do affordable flights, yet another way to try hella beers witty getting super full. We like this joint and will be back again!

We recently spent two nights in Portland, and ended up at Bailey’s Taproom on two occasions. Bailey’s was conveniently close to the Hilton downtown(which is where we were staying), and it turned out to be a fantastic destination for two beer lovers such as ourselves. The taproom exudes a cool, suave vibe, with dim lights, a lot of wood décor, and hip music. Their tap list is updated in real time(good job, Digital Pour!) to show you not only what beers and ciders are available, but also how close each of them is to the bottom of the barrel. They also pull from the Untappd API, so expect your face and beer check-in to show up on the screen if you use the app to check in a beer at Bailey’s. Prices are exceedingly excellent, with most 20oz pours available for $ 5. That is a way better price than I’d get anywhere in Seattle for 20oz of beer(and there’s no sales tax to boot, woot woot). Since they have 25 taps for you to pick from, trust me when I say you will certainly be spoiled for choice and have a tough time choosing from all the options. I appreciate that their tap list isn’t heavily skewed towards IPAs, which is something that happens far too often at taprooms in the PNW. I enjoyed some mighty fine ciders, porters and stouts over my two visits. I will certainly be back here the next time I find myself in downtown Portland!

This taproom set the bar high for us on our bar-hopping adventures in Downtown Portland. This was our first-ever brewery in Portland and we were quite impressed with it. We got lost in the huge menu and it took us a bit to decide on what we wanted. Once we got our drinks, we were easily able to get seats. The ambiance here is one of the best I’ve experienced in a bar. The lighting is perfect and makes everyone in the room radiate with beauty. It wasn’t crowded at all and the three of us could easily hear one another. Beer here is CHEAP! On the day we went, it was around $ 3 for 12 oz and $ 5 for 20 oz. The bartender was very friendly, informative, and quick to get our drinks. I got the fat head sour #2 which I really enjoyed. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sour ale and it was very enjoyable! This bar has a very chill atmosphere and seems like a great place to just kickback with friends. My friends and I put this place at such a high caliber for the rest of the night that we even got picky when drinks at other bars weren’t less than $ 5 haha. I wish we were here longer for more drinks, but I will definitely plan to visit here again!

Still one of my favorite taprooms in Portland! I stumbled across this place a year ago and I was excited to visit it again for Christmas Eve. They always have an amazing selection of beers that rotate pretty often; and great service. Bailey’s also has an array of board games and is a great place to kickback with friends. Not to mention the price is so reasonable that you can try an array of PNW beers. I’d definitely recommend visiting Bailey’s if you are in the area.

Bailey’s is a total beer lover’s dream come true. At any given time, there are around 30 different beers on tap, all categorized neatly on two giant digital menu boards that also indicate how much per keg is left of each type, beer style, and ABV. They’re a little light on the darker brews, but if you’re an IPA lover, you’ll be well at home at Bailey’s. It’s also a nice perk how darn affordable beer is in Portland(coming from CA, buying a pint for ~$ 3 seems like madness!). I’ll definitely be back in the future for a good brew!

When we came to Portland, I was looking around at good bars to drink good local beer. I am so glad I found Bailey’s. This place was great. So great, we came back a few times just to make it through their beer menu. The bar had a great chill vibe with an amazing beer selection. The beer menu was pretty cool too because it allowed you to view when the keg was tapped and how much was left in the keg. That way you can decide if you should start with something you want where there isn’t much of the beer left. Please keep in mind that this bar does not have food but apparently you could order some tacos or something across the street and they would bring it over to you while you sit and enjoy your beverage. If you are in Portland, you definitely need to put this on your must stop list for awesome beer.
