Animal Crossing NW

A very small family-​run pet supply store, Animal Crossing NW certainly isn’t fancy. But what does that really matter? They have a decent selection of high-​quality foods for your dog and cat, at prices that to me seem reasonable. There’s also an area to buy treats in bulk, which I appreciate. And if you ever want to buy a bunch of mice or other small rodents, they seem to have you covered there, as well.
There’s not much else to add. Do you need good pet food? They sell it, and they’re friendly while doing so. I’m not sure what else you’d need.

I’ve been going to Animal Crossing since I lived in the Woodstock neighborhood. They’re still my #1 place to get flea control, even though it’s a bit of a drive now. I’ve seen many pet owners over the years come in for help and advice (including snake and lizard owners) due to their very knowledgeable staff. Skip the big chains, this local business can serve your needs just fine.

Local pet store for those in the Woodstock, Mt. Scott neighborhood. These guys know their stuff when it comes to pet diets. It isn’t that much more expensive than big box stores, so keep your dollars local. I love this place. They have two wonderful shop cats, and there were kittens playing in pens when I walked in. Super friendly owners who know what they’re talking about.

Took over three weeks to get my dog’s name tag engraved, when it was supposed to take 7 days. They told me to come back in or call after a few days if i did not hear from them. I called the following week and they said they would call the engravers to find out what had happened and then call me back later that day. I did not hear from them for a few days, so I called them again. I told the gal on the phone my situation and she said she would call the engravers and call me right back. She called me right back this time and said that my tag was lost in the mail and they will remake it and send it out the next day. When I finally received the tag, my dog’s name was left off. No apology, no credit or compensation was given for this long process and major error. Too bad because I really wanted to give them my business.

I really wanted to like this place because it is in my neighborhood and the staff is so nice. But it is very over priced. Especially when I’m all ready buying expensive food.
