Stopped in for weekday work lunch– wow! Amazing toscana soup with sourdough toast on the side= happy day. Will definitely be back!

This place rocks! Chill out with your food or drink on a relaxed environment with free wifi. They also have a cool executive meeting room for usage, with a big tv! Starbucks who?

Check this place out. The coffee is good and they have really good cookies. They’ve always been super friendly. I guess thia place is affiliated with some church and there’s are Christian books and whatnot in the back.

Very cute coffee house in the middle of downtown Portage. There’s not another coffee house in the city so I was happy to find this one. They serve Colectivo coffee and Rishi teas. They also have free wifi which is a necessity for my work as I am self employed. The staff was friendly and I truly loved the chai I ordered! I will definitely be back!

Hello, Portage! All I have to say is that I really hope this place makes it! Restaurants in Portage seem to come and go quite frequently, even the good ones (cough, cough, Krista’s).
Then Le Croissant opened. I was excited. Instead, when I went, was somewhat saddened. I will review that place next I suppose…
But…now I am rerouting my daily voyage from Madison to drive by The Percolator. They, wow. Where do I start? First, Collectivo Coffee and Rishi tea. Legit choice. Second, lunch and breakfast menu. I had the breakfast wrap: spinach tortilla with egg, cheese and summer sausage. Not bad, by any means. They also have a case of fabulous goodies, including a cinnamon roll the size of my head. Thirdly, I bombarded them with some of my students and staff on a field trip. They treated every single one of my students with patience and respect. The orders came quick and did not even show a sign of irritation!
They have parking in a general lot about 3 minutes from their location as well as street parking. Very easy to find and get to.
This place has the ability to compete in Madison. It could be that I am just super excited to have legit java so close to work. Either way, this place is pretty awesome.
