Popcorn Corner

Ok we were driving by saw this place and had to stop. Either you can go through the drive thru or walk up. The Carmel corn was excellent never had anything like it. Will be back again !

We’ve been here several times. Love this place. The this just got serious icecream is amazing. I always get it in a waffle cone. The prices are very reasonable which is another reason we continue to come back here.

For Portage, this is actually a pretty cool little place. I don’t often get the craving for popcorn, but if I do while in Portage I can always get a big bag of the freshly made stuff for pretty cheap (well, cheap relative to getting most snacks – I mean, sure, you could just buy a box of instant pop and microwave it, but where’s the fun in that?)
They have a ton of flavors of soft serve, too. If I have a sweet tooth while in town I usually hit up A&W while it’s open for the summer because I forget this place exists, but if you’re in the mood for an oddball flavor or something this place is a great option.
Drive-​thru or walk-​up only here, so it’s really only an option in good weather. I like to get a cone or a bag of popcorn and walk the levee nearby sometimes.
My major impression of this place is that it’s like a booth that you’d find at a county fair or something, but just in a building at the end of the street. It’s got character, and Portage is lucky to have it.
