About 17 years ago i had an incident while test riding a bike. The top tube got scratched, kinda felt pressured to buy the bike. In the end we returned it and got my money refunded. I thought that was awfully nice of them. Since then i had purchased tubes, tires and whatnot and also sent my brother there to get his Dahon tuned up.
They always had a great selection of bikes.

Great selection of bikes and accessories. Really a cyclist’s dream.
For the average non-gearhead, it can be overwhelming.
I walked in, looking to buy a bike for use in Chicago. Having not been on one in 18 years, I really had no idea what I was looking for. The salesman who helped me was nice, but not especially friendly. I asked more questions than he did. So I’m not sure if I really asked everything I was supposed to.
I am happy with the bike, and all the equipment they sell there is quite nice. The shop is clean, well-organized and stocked with everything you might need.
Everything there tends to lean toward the expensive side, but you wouldn’t come here if you just wanted a Huffy.
Plus, it’s always good to support locally-owned businesses, so there’s that.
