This place is always clean and the food is always satisfying. The people are very nice.
Buffalo chicken slice is delicious, barbecue chicken is amazing, the ziti slice will fill you up for the rest of the week, garlic knots are soft and tasty. The salad ingredients are also fresh and sizable. The minestrone soup tastes homemade and delicious. I will be returning regularly.

I go here all the time for pizza and soup. By far the best garlic knots in town, and are a must try for anyone who hasn’t had them. The buffalo slice is excellent and on the mild side with tastey big chunks of chicken. The chicken rolls are very good and the sauce on the side pairs very nicely. The plain slice has a nice cheese to sauce ratio and is consistently good.
The parking is easy and the staff is friendly. Great downtown Pizzaria!

Great neighborhood pizzeria. I bring my son here all the time and the pistol there are great! Sometimes just for a slice, sometimes more!
The margherita and eggplant Parmesan slices are amazing and I can’t recommend them enough!

What a gem. Discovered it by accident when intended destination was closed. Had Marsala chicken pizza that was to die for! Best ever. Don’t miss it if you get the chance.

One of my favorite pizza places, with what is, in my opinion, the best buffalo slice around town. They do an awesome traditional slice, too. I work in the plaza and Bellissimo is my go-​to for lunch 9 times out of 10. Decent prices too!

When Bellisimo first first opened, our family joked…“just what Port Washington needs, one more pizza place”. Well it is our favorite pizza in town! Everything on their menu is very good and their soups are excellent.

We come here in the summer a lot because we stay on the boat in the weekends in the summer time. It’s very close to the bay area where we dock the boat. It has outside seating that we could easily bring our dog to eat with us. They treat our pet very nice, a bowl of water for the dog while we eat our meals. The best meals from here would be the chicken and broccoli rabe dish and frutti the mare (seafood pasta). Those are the best ones I’ve tried. I keep ordering them each time when I’m there and sometimes hubby takes it to go to please my hunger *:p I didn’t like pasta in clam sauce the way they prepare, too buttery taste. Pizza here is quite good. My husband said their lasagna is delicious but I never tried it so I don’t know.

We had eaten at the other Italian & pizza places in town (all of which are way better) and decided to give this a shot. The pizza was poor. The pasta dish was downright gross. (I have no doubt the sauce was made via industrial sized cans of tomato paste and as little flavor as possible.) And to add to the «ambiance» of the place (yeah, right), the greasy moustachio’d guy behind the counter was creepily staring at my wife. What a wonderful experience all around with depressing food, service and décor.

While the people behind the counter may not be the friendliest around, the prices are some of the most affordable as far as Port Washington pizza goes. They make sure that it’s served hot, which is something I certainly appreciate. Not to name names, but some places in town don’t reheat their slices long enough and often have cold spots… not pleasant.
I think I’ve only had their regular slice once, which I remember liking. I’ve ordered a white slice every time I’ve been back since. In my opinion, it’s one of the best in town. They spread the ricotta over the entire slice like sauce and the mozzarella on top is absolutely delicious.
They’re in a great location now that the movie theater is open again, and I hope they get a ton of new business. Bellisimo is a place that deserves to stick around. Plus, it’s super convenient when I realize how hungry I am after shopping at Rite-​Aid.

Update from my review from Friday. I received a call after posting my review that the manager was making deliveries and got a flat tire. A gentleman named Cam called and apologized which I was lead to believe was the manager; turns out that was not the case but nevertheless assured me that a refund would be processed. I called again as I didn’t see the refund processed and a gentleman answered at 10am today «I am too busy, bye.» I didn’t even say a word other than can I speak to the manager and that was the response.
Carlos, Gino’s, Roma’s all much better pizza places to go to in Port Wash and less expensive. I am sorry a quality establishment did not come to the King Kullen center as I think it is a good spot (though not so much anymore without the movie theater.)

Great tasting pizza! Crust was crispy but not burned. I had eggplant slice and a spinach slice, both worth getting again! Chicken roll was big but average tasting, sauce on the side by request. Friendly staff, service with smiles! Minus a star though for no air condition on a hot 86 degree afternoon (4pm)! They should’ve gotten the hint when my wife and I were fanning ourselves with their menus! All in all a pizza restaurant worth a try if you’re in the area or live nearby! Prices were also reasonable!

East Meadow, NY
Another pizza joint has graced Port Washington. It replaced Cheeburger Cheeburger in the soundview marketplace and it has finally opened, since the sign had been put up for a while.
The parlor is nicely designed without any over the top decorations, thus giving it a nice charm…
I have yet to try other things on the menu, but their pizza slices are delicious, simply because they somehow make the crust crispy, yet maintain softness and the sauce is delicious. DO NOT MISS THE SPINACH SLICE!!!
Customer service is EXTREMELY friendly and makes the atmosphere pleasant and worth re-​visiting…
I’d give it 5 stars but it is to addicting and i need to stay a fan and not a fanatic for Bellisomo!!!
