I loved this little spot. They opened on Thanksgiving morning to a few adoring fans. My buddy and I had the corned beef hash. Pamalita had something with Bacon. She shared. It was amazing. We went on a self guided tour of the spot. They have a football watching separate building the husband built for his wife. Man, he cooks, builds her a football section of the restaurant. Probably brings her flowers and makes the bed too. Nice to see. Beer and wine. And Mimosas. I passed as the coffee was so darn good. She(Sorry, dont remember their names) even gave us enough ground coffee to make 6 cups using the French Press the following morning. They are a great team. Love small business Thursdays. Especially if it involves bacon and outrageous coffee. Clean. Great food. Hard working couple. Im a fan. They will earn your loyalty. Go there.

Prompt, courteous, and friendly service. No kids menu, but the waitress made it clear they would accommodate with an equivalent price. Little on the pricy side for a «small town» but the food was fantastic so it’s a wash in my book. Portions were appropriate vs oversized. My wife had a scone which was a family recipe and was fantastic ! Scones are not an easy peasy food to get right. I could not get connected, but the restaurant does advertise a wireless connection. After paying the bill, I was provided a «to-go» cup for my coke if I chose — albeit a small detail, it reminded me of something I miss from«big» restaurants. Definitely recommend !!

The corned beef and hash was really good, plus the outside dining area was great for the dog, they brought her a bowl of water and were very dog– friendly.

We stopped here for breakfast and found a table inside, we sat down at a table with two place settings and grabbed another one off of the table behind us that was also unoccupied. Almost immediately the waitress came by, replaced the place setting and gave my family a very dirty look followed by aggressively arranging the chairs. I figured I was imagining it and brushed if off but the next time we saw her she brought us menus and water. She slammed the water down threw the menus on the table and when we said hello she barely acknowledged us and walked away. We actually left before ordering because we felt so unwelcome.

I had driven by this restaurant for over two years and was excited to try it when a business group I’m in met there. We met there weekly for a few months. Initially, the service was acceptable and we were able to work out the interruptions during our meeting to take orders and serve food. It was $ 15 for oatmeal and tea, which I find a little high. In looking around the room at other breakfasts, I believe the price is too high for the quantity and quality of food served. Eventually, the owner required a high room rental fee, without the courtesy of notice. Our meeting there ended abruptly when the owner demanded we pay the high fee that did not include any of the cost of food we ordered. We had poor service that day and it was obvious our business was not wanted. It is unfortunate because over 20 of us are involved weekly in this meeting. This restaurant lost more than one customer that day in a small town with plenty of other options. Try Hudson Point Café for really great food.

A solid place for breakfast and lunch; good for kids. I had the excellent corned beef hash. The fruit salad was made with ripe, delicious fruit. My husband had a turkey-bacon-avocado sandwich and liked it. My kids had the fish and chips and devoured it – the fish was freshly fried. Fast, friendly service and since there were few diners(Sat afternoon in Feb) so we had the run of the glass-walled sunny dining area.

I’m the pickiest eater when it comes to burgers. The Cup in Port Townsend, WA has an awesome mushroom bacon burger. The patty is seasoned well and all the accompaniment were fresh and delicious. I HIGHLY recommend The Cup Restaurant when you’re driving through Port Townsend.

I kind of want to give it 2.5 stars, but I can’t. Then again, 3 isn’t stretching either, so fair enough. I had the corn beef scramble special. The eggs and such were fine, cheesy, though I think for the«special» price of 10 bucks, a bit sparse. Especially considering that the few potato bits(«hash») that came with it, tasted like cardboard. I was trying to put my finger on what was actually familiar about them, when it hit me. Frozen, from a bag. The boyfriend added freezer burn to the description. I’m sorry owners, but that is exactly what the tasted like. Or barely tasted. I did not finish the small amount that was there. If you are serving out of bags, at least lower your prices. I could buy those. And make them taste better! Coffee is good, she kept it coming, and service is prompt. The boyfriend’s quesadillas were okay, he said, but not mind blowing. Not trying to be snarky, just honest. I could’ve had a very good breakfast at a place like Point Hudson for the same, or I think lesser price, with full plates.

Decided to give this place a try on our way up the peninsula, server was indifferent. My husband ordered an egg scramble, it was just ok, potatoes tasted like they had been taken out of the freezer and microwaved. I tried to order eggs benedict but was told they were out, ordered the French toast which came with no garnish, just the toast on the plate. The French toast was dry and tough and not even close to worth the price charged. On our way out I saw a lady chowing down on Eggs Benedict, go figure. We will not give this place another chance!

From the moment we got out of the car and spotted the half dozen almost tame deer in the parking lot to when we boxed up our ample leftovers, dining here was a real treat. We walked in and the waitress immediately began pushing tables together to accommodate our party of six. We hadn’t gotten settled in our seats before our coffee order was taken and we’d barely gotten our coats off before the coffee was set in front of us, steaming hot. This is a real, old-fashioned kind of diner. Don’t bother coming here if you’re looking for barely smoked lox on a bed of arugula. But if you want ample, hearty, ’50’s style fare, you’ve come to the right place. I ordered biscuits and gravy. Not my usual breakfast order but it was an homage to my great-uncle. According to him, if a diner can’t make a decent biscuit and gravy, they aren’t worth coming back to. It arrived pile high with two large, split biscuits, home-fries and enough gravy to swim in. Absolutely the BEST sausage gravy I’ve ever had. While we were waiting for our order to come(which wasn’t very long), the waitress brought over some books for my girls to read. They had been left there by the local county library. Nice touch. My 6-year-old girls got pancakes. I stole a bite. They were yummy and twice the size of their heads. My grandma got the mini breakfast which wasn’t, by any means, mini. But it wasn’t huge. My mom the scramble with a side of gravy. She took most of it home and is looking forward to breakfast tomorrow morning. I have no idea what my dad ordered but there wasn’t any left. The staff is pleasant, too. We were asking the waitress about the deer and she told us that they are there all the time, two fauns were born behind the restaurant and she said they actually look both ways before crossing the street. We really enjoyed this restaurant.

Came here for breakfast last summer. My dining companion had the challah bread waffle or French toast – can’t remember which it was, but she wasn’t impressed. I tasted it and it was pretty flavorless. I had a more basic breakfast and enjoyed it. We more recently went there for a Thursday night all-you-can-eat fish & chips dinner. It was not very good at all. The cod was a little tough(frozen maybe?) and I had some small enough pieces that they were mostly tough deep-fried breading. The coleslaw was very bland and the dinner salads had so much red onion and red onion flavor in them that we wondered if they’d made them a lot earlier in the day for the onion flavor to overwhelm the salad as it did. Other than the onion, it was just some chopped lettuce and a couple of tomato slices. The waitress was awesome… very helpful and efficient.

We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Although I’m in my mid 40s, I felt like I was too young to be there. The crowd was mostly over 60. Well over 60! We both ordered fish and chips and found them to be quite bland. Even salt and vinegar didn’t help. The fries were okay and the slaw unimpressive. I wouldn’t go here again.

A perfect breakfast was found. We ate outside in a converted carport that has a beautiful gas fireplace and locally created art work adorning the sides. I had the snoqualmie oatmeal with fresh fruit, husband has Black Forest omelet that has amazing grilled onions in it and daughter had mushroom avocado omelet. Service was slow as we were often forgotten outside but food was quick and good sized portions. Prices very fair and nothing seemed not homemade.

We ate at The Cup the morning of January 12, 2013 Adorable hole in the wall that offers some great breakfast! — You can go anywhere to get a run of the mill breakfast. The Cup had a great selection of normal things, plus some local favorites. They used ingredients from the surrounding area as often as they could(yay for giving back to your community). The Cup’s Staff was excellent. My husband’s coffee cup & my water glass were always filled. The breakfast was great(hubby had sausage and biscuits & I had a ham scramble) and the ambiance was calm and inviting. We have close friends in Port Townsend and will be returning to The Cup for breakfasts to come!
