Very beautiful serene place. I felt very much in peace walking thru the area. The fountain water sprouts had me mesmerized. Simply beautiful overall landscape.

Nice place for a walk pre or post work day. Calm and peaceful. This is the epicenter for family days as well and a nice place to relax during several of the festivals that are held here.

Take a stroll down the complex! Port Orange is a sleepy little place right between Daytona Beach and Ponce Inlet. Since I come here often to visit family, it is pretty simple to enjoy some of the simpler pleasures that this small community has to offer. The City Center complex is a great walking park that is great for picnics, getting some exercise, and hanging out with the family. The Good: Beautiful trails: The walking trail around the city center is absolutely beautiful. There’s a large lake in the middle with plenty of small fish, turtles and wading birds to look at. Picture-perfect picnic!: This place is great for a picnic, although there isn’t much in the way of tables. But if you’ve got a nice picnic spread and a basket, you can park it right next to the water and enjoy! Get some exercise!: The exercise trails are pretty cool, and have various equipment and exercise ideas for different skill levels. The Bad: Tables? Chairs?: There is a decided lack of tables, and benches are few and far between. It’ great if you are wanting to walk around for awhile, but if you are planning on walking for awhile but if you are going with older family or small kids, it’s good to know beforehand. The Port Orange City center complex is a beautiful place to take our morning run, have a picnic lunch, or take a leisurely evening stroll. But no matter when you go, it’s a great place. Overall 8.9/10= Port Orange Pride!

Growing up in Port Orange, I always enjoyed hanging out around the City Center. In addition to City Hall, the public library is located here as well as a very nice lake with a jogging circle. The whole place is shaded with old-growth trees, and it is well populated from daytime into the evening. A great place to run, bike, or just stroll around. Highly recommended if you’d like to take in the great outdoors inside the city limits.
