Initial appearance looks like a bodega more than an actual eatery. For starters service has much to be desired for. the environment is a little shady patrons look more like that belong in a bad guy movie crew. Décor is out a 70’s porn it is not the most sanitary place. Utensils were dirty. Waitress had to ask if cook was willing to cook one of their main entrees on the menu that was being advertised as the daily special. Food looked like it has been sitting for while. Typical buffet kind of assembly line food dried out Beans and salads. Food would be rated at a 4 out of 10 and I think I’m being generous. The one redeeming factor was that the beer was is cold and the shrimp mofongo is ok.

Very good food. Polite staff. This is a no frills restaurant that will serve you good food with a limited beer selection. There’s a pool table, juke box and around 6:30 they start blasting the bachata. The food at the counter is ready to go and looks great, it’s what was ordered by the regulars coming in. We ordered the mofongo and it took about 30 minutes.
Good place, I’ll go back.
