Channel Island Optometric Center

I found this optometrist on Unilocal and was misled by the good reviews.
While I was in the car, I called 3 minutes before my appointment and let them know I will be a little late but not anything near 10 minutes from the time of my phone call.
I live minutes away from this spot. It was more realistic that I would arrive 5 minutes late. I just thought it would be considerate to let them know.
The receptionist told me that I would have to reschedule the appointment. I asked her «So you wouldn’t allow a patient to be 10 minutes late?» She responded that they wouldn’t.
I wasn’t going to be a full10 minutes late but what if I needed to be that late for a legitimate reason? I would want to be a patient at a facility that was considerate enough to allow me to do so.

I came here for a checkup and received a very thorough evaluation. The doctor was friendly, patient, and informative. Thank you!

Let me start off by saying that Dr. Rollins is an extremely informative and friendly eye doc! He is by far the best I’ve had, and I’ve been wearing contacts/​glasses like 20 years! They were able to order my contacts and recieved them the next day! I am very please with this optometrist and the very clean, and nicely located office. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Doc, you have made previously horrible experiences now easy and enjoyable.
