Starbucks

Service is mainly good! Waaaay better than the saviers location. There’s one employee who always grinds my gears and he is the reason I am not giving this place five stars. He’s an unattractive Justin beiver wanna be look a like. Every time he is working, he goes on and on talking about nothing to everyone except the customers, unless he knows the customer. And I’ve once overheard him speaking about his personal life. Very unprofessional if you ask me.

Unfortunately this is the closest coffee shop top my house. The staff is always very distracted with one another and doesn’t seem to care much about the cleanliness of the store out the customers that come in. Now I find out it’s a military store… What does that even mean, why can’t it still just be a Starbucks that happens to do volunteer work? No need to put flags all over the place.

The cashier today was more interested in talking to an employee who was ordering his free drink about work business than helping the customer who was in line.
This is not the first time, only go here because it is close to where I live.

I can’t believe the bad reviews. This is my «home» Starbucks and it’s awesome. I’ve been to SB up and down the California coast and this one is one of the best. I’m there most mornings and the crew always greet me by name and remember my order.
A shout out to Skyler… he is the nicest, friendliest barrestia and is usually working the register.
They have power strips running the length of the back wall and there is always room to relax and enjoy the morning. As far as the reviews saying the place was dirty, they must have been there on a off day… it’s certainly not the norm.

Open to 11Pm and always great service. This Starbucks has really hired great people. Many times have I rushed in a few minutes before closing and they still help you with a smile. Best part is they get my drink right every time and for some reason it taste better and anywhere else I get it.

Don’t bother ordering ahead on Mobil pay the forget to check the printer and your order just sits there until you arrive! It’s happen to me several times go to another Starbucks! This customer service stinks!!!

Spacious place and they have plenty of tables. The barista does the job well in making my coffee/​tea… just the way I want it to taste like. Cheers!

I was hoping to find a home here, since I frequent coffee shops a lot. Usually, I go to Starbucks (I’m a native Seattleite) for a consistent environment, no surprises. This Starbucks is DIRTY. I read a Unilocal review indicating this, so maybe I was noticing more, but when I was ordering, the counter and displays were actually dusty. The floor needed sweeping, and worst of all the bathroom was DISGUSTING. The toilet seat was up and there was something unspeakable underneath, the floor was actually muddy and there were no paper towels… someone had stuffed the dispenser full of napkins. So it’s not just a cleanliness issue, it’s a management-​in-​general issue. I will give the place one more shot but I have been to many, many, Starbucks and this was the worst run one I have seen. Cheers.

I am so sad to write this review. This has been my Starbucks for years! I moved and have a Starbucks nearby but drive to this location because I love the natural lighting for studying and reading.
After today, I won’t be RETURNING !
1. I went to the restroom and it was filthy. There was no toilet paper and they placed Starbucks napkins in the paper towel dispenser. I was here yesterday too and they still haven’t put in paper towels?! The floor was super sticky and it simply smelled as though it has not been cleaned in weeks! It reeks of urine .
2. I ordered a frappucino and it was fine but after hours of studying I needed another drink. I ordered a hot white mocha, took a sip and felt a long hair in my mouth!!! I had to pull a LONG blond hair out of my mouth. VOMIT! I have black hair, therefore it wasn’t mine.
I was super disgusted. I went straight to the cashier and showed him the hair I had just had in my mouth. He apologized and refunded my money but I think there is something going on with how clean they keep this location. It does not seem very sanitary.
In all the years I have been a customer, this is the dirtiest I have seen it. The employees are not as friendly as the previous ones but I kept coming because it is the biggest location I know of. I also love studying with natural lighting and they have windows all around.
Please bring this location to its old self. As I sit here I am looking around and the floors, windows and fixtures are dirty. There is dust accumulated everywhere. It is really disgusting. Does corporate ever check up on this location? If they do, they’re definitely not doing their job!
I dealt with their sometimes rude cashiers because I like this spacious location but I will not deal with filthiness!
I will miss coming here but not until I hear it has been cleaned up will I return.
I mean to get a hair in my coffee? Really? Gross!!! I just cannot get over it :(

Awesome! I ordered a tall coffee Frappuccino with three shots of espresso, and was charged for that. But they gave me a venti-​sized beverage and said that they accidentally grabbed the wrong cup, but I was happy as a clam:-) Very friendly barista, too.

Always friendly, fast service here! Clean shop, tasty drinks! Such a treat they were open on Christmas Day!

the cashier this morning was extremely rude. I have a cold, but unfortunately still needed to run errands.
and after waiting on me, spoke loudly to all the other employees to make sure to wash their hands frequently as he has noticed a lot of people coming in that have colds… very embarrassing. Won’t be going into this location again.

I occasionally go to Starbucks abs this is one of my favorites. I love the view and the staff is always friendly. It’s always clean and well stocked with goodies. It’s a little loud but that’s ok you can always go outside and enjoy the view.

OMG! Manager screaming at employees… Very tacky and unprofessional. Filthy bathroom, floors were sticky. Trash overflowing! Yuck!
What is with this Starbucks?
Starbucks needs some serious housecleaning with this store. Sounds like manager is a HUGE part of the problem!

I came around 7pm there to buy coffe ofcourse. The person on cashier geez he’s not friendly nit evey say a greet or smile geez. Have some Life.

Love this Starbucks!!! Not only are Starbucks drinks ALWAYS FABULOUS from this Location BUT THE STAFF IS BEYOND WONDERFUL!!! The drinks are not only made the way you ask them to be made but additional these team members are kind, knowledgable, and charismatic!!! So thanks Matt, Eric, Kenneth, and EACH AND EVERYONE who is a team members at this Port Hueneme Starbucks! This is my favorite location by far to study or stop in before my drive to work! Your excellence is sincerely appreciated!

There is one reason, and one reason only, that I step foot into this Starbucks — and it’s only because the person who tutors me for school lives close to this Starbucks.
With that said, I would never choose to go to this location. Yes, it’s busy on Saturday mornings, but that’s no excuse for it to be filthy 90% of the time.
My bigger complaint is the staff, specifically the woman who seems to be in charge. She never wears a name tag, barks at other employees, never smiles, carries on extremely inappropriate conversations (talking about getting drunk; I even heard her making a joke about sexual assault), and is overall the most unpleasant person I’ve ever dealt with at any Starbucks ever.
I will find out what your name is and as soon as I do, I will be contacting Starbucks corporate office to report you.

Love this Place! I usually get the Tall Mocha Ice Blended Drink. It’s always delicious.

Starbucks on Channel Islands great study spot in Oxnard for groups or by yourself. They have this big communal table that I usually meet up with classmates at and it’s probably the best part about the coffee shop other than their peppermint mocha frappes or pumpkin spice lattes :)
I also recently downloaded the Starbucks app and now I find myself trying to get as many stars possible to get to Green and try to get in on the whole free drink when you purchase a certain number of drinks lol
They lose a star for not maintaining the toiletries in their one unisex restroom but they do open pretty late if you need to cram and pull an all-​nighter for classes ;D

As one reviewer said, coffee is coffee.
Starbucks are Starbucks.
But this location gets 4 stars mostly just for being open till 11pm on a weekday night when every other location in Ventura county is open till 10pm.
To top it all off, the staff was super nice… if you have any experience with the Starbucks app for your phone and how it works, you get a *star* for every purchase you make with the phone app. After so many stars you get a free drink. The secret is that you get a star for every PURCHASE you make. I was ordering 3 drinks and the girl was happy to let me ring them up separately so that I was able to get 3 stars instead of just one if I had rang them up together.
Awesome customer service, late night hours. Sure coffee is coffee, but those two things make this coffee better than most.
