We were new to the island and I was looking for a good lunch place with our kids, this place was great. The Cuban was delicious, my son had the perch which was great and the kids meals we’re great as well. Make sure to get the coupon from Millers ferry for free appetizer, definitely worth it! Would definitely go back!

Amazing! The food is so good I highly recommend this stop, and hope to come back very soon. It looks like a little hole in the wall spot, but we brought 3 generations here and everyone absolutely loved it.

Good stuff. Look into the Cuban or the Perch platter. Prices are good– won’t break the bank to have an entrée and a drink. Can’t beat the view either. The service service is timely and friendly.

We came in search of a good lake perch dinner. A friend recommended Topsy Turvey as having the best perch on the island. While I can’t if it’s the best, we were not disappointed. The perch was delicious! The portion was generous and the price was lower than we’ve seen. The coleslaw was very good as were the fries. The mix of bar, restaurant and remnants of the store that used to fill this space explains the name of the place. Service was excellent and friendly. Nice concept comfortable and laid back atmosphere. We saw the sandwiches others were eating and they looked delicious. People looked happy with those too.
Mission accomplished.

Been coming to PIB for several years, but this was our first time at Topsy Turveys. Started with the fried green tomatoes, which have a light and seasoned coating. They were done perfectly, not over cooked, and served with ranch. Excellent.
Our inn keeper recommended the Cuban sandwiches, so that’s what we decided on, and ordered one with a side of fries. This sandwich was possibly the best I’ve had, not just the best Cuban, but the best sandwich. The meats and cheese were the right combinations and the right proportions, and the pickle and mustard/​mayo dressing were the perfect compliment. The bread was fresh and tasted homemade, and pressed, did a good job to hold it all together. This will now be a «must-​have» on future visits to PIB!

My friends and I visit Put-​in-​Bay one August weekend per year. Our favorite breakfast spot is definitely seeing Gary and Lori at Topsy Turvey’s Island Grill. The lines and the prices at other establishments drove us to find this treasure, and we couldn’t be happier. The food, the view, the low prices and he consistency are amazing. By far, my favorite breakfast of the year is the breakfast burrito at Topsy Turvey’s. It’s a grilled burrito stuffed with eggs, and seasoned (?) ground beef and cheese, served with salsa. Out of 5 guys, 4 of us ordered and loved it. You gotta try it. Make sure to say hi to Gary and Lori while you are there.
