Our favorite butcher — any time we are remotely close we stop to stock up on the best bologna, Leberkase, wurst and German treats! And even if we are not remotely close, … road trip!

Don’t believe the outlier review: this place is tops! This is a German butcher with plenty of German processed specialties near the front, but you have to wander to the back to see the ample beef, pork, chicken and sausage selection. I’ve bought most every cut; I highly recommend the pork country ribs: the best meat for the best price! Yum. But everything you get here is fresh and much cheaper than Publix. I don’t think you’ll go wrong. The service is friendly, but there could be a bit of a wait during tourist season: just about everyone will be talking German!

This butcher shop has been in business for thirty years so they really do not need my endorsement but here I go anyway. The shop is good size as far as butcher shops go. They have great looking(and tasting) fresh meat, cold cut type meats, sausages of all sorts, and smoked meats. In the center and around the edges of the shop are all types of German and European specialties from candy to spice mixes to bottled cabbage and jams. I wanted one of everything! We were there on a Friday afternoon. My friends live by and we had eaten at the little European restaurant in the same parking lot. I was surprised by how many people were in the shop. There must have been 20 customers with numbers waiting to get to the butchers. Now for the funny part. Once one chats with the butcher and points out everything to order, the butcher assembles the items in a basket, then assigns the buyer a animal/bird name. That day we were«possum». When one finally gets to the cash register one tells the employee the correct name and the order appears! This process really makes good sense considering if the customers were wandering around the display cases with their arms full of stuff– well it could be a disaster! Before I forget, I have been eating German sausages of all types my entire life. They had one sausage I have never heard of. I regret not buying a couple to try but we were leaving the next morning in the wee hours and my friends do not own a foodsaver! Bah! And, lastly, we tried the European rye bread. I made sandwiches for the trip home. The bread was fantastic– full bodied with a nice chew. We put their veal loaf and horseradish inside. Great! Final note– if you live or visit in the area, this place is well worth visiting. Their meat is beautiful and their prices are very competitive.

I won’t buy meat anywhere else! Usually very busy, especially in season, but worth the wait. You can call in orders ahead. Love this place!

Oh my gosh, where to begin? The staff is unbelievable friendly, attentive and knowlegeable. Sausages, bologna, frankfurters, kielbasa and brats are made on the premises. They smoke their own hams. Ask about the schnitzel… They grind the hamburger on premises as well. Try a pretzel roll with black forest ham, dill havarti and spicy mustard. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Clean, no hormones, no preservatives in the bologna. Outstanding. They will freezer wrap or vacuum seal your meats as well. We always take some home to Maine with us. As far as I am concerned, this is a «do not miss» place!

I love this butcher and deli and it is now my favorite meat shop :) The meat is truly clean and healthy tasting. The prices are better than walmart. I have found out all about GMO and every piece of meat you buy in a grocery store, especially walmart full of Genetically Modified Organisms, hormones, antibiotics and believe it or not, they treat it with a toxic gas to make it look fresh, feed that to your loved ones? Nope. Thank you Kallis for providing our community with delicious healthy cuts. I also got some canadian bacon, OHMYGOSH Food Gasm, lol just as the meat, so clean and wonde
