I’ve been to various Carrabba’s 5 times over the years and only enjoyed it once. Sadly tonight was no exception. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad which they charged a crazy $ 13+ dollars for a salad only slightly larger than my sons Caesar side salad and put 6 tiny slivers of chicken on it, maybe a ¼ of a very anemic chicken breast. After looking at at in true astonishment and after moving it around a bit i was able find 2 croutons had a couple of bites and decided the Caesar dressing was very fishy, I’m assuming made with anchovies, sorry that’s really nasty. I think I’m done with Carrabba’s. It’s always just been a disappointment. sorry,. I know I’m in the minority but I’m not going back to this chain again.

Like Carrabba’s, typical visit. Love the lentil soup, had the scallops & shrimp which was different, was lightly breaded then grilled, gave them a blackened flavor. The pasta that came with it was un-eventful, would suggest asking for regular pasta if they will substitute.

We enjoy using Unilocal but tonight Unilocal didn’t know where it was going. It said we had arrived at our destination several miles before we had actually reached it. We were in an unfamiliar location so it was very confusing. By calling the restaurant we eventually found it

I love this place but sad they took flat bread of the menu. The new hot wings are good and the shrimp scampi but don’t care for any of the other appetizers. The marsala sauce is good weather it be on the chicken, pork or steak :) I use it as gravy on my potatoes. All food is made fresh. Nothing frozen like other chain restaurants. Half price apps until 7 st the 2 bar high tops and 2 for 1 happy hour. The sangria is awesome!

We have yet to be disappointed by this place. Always good food, hot, tasty and served in a reasonable amount of time, Nice staff, and good prices. Pleasant cozy atmosphere. Wonderful smells coming from the open style kitchen. I asked for an after dinner coffee drink made a specail way, and I have to say it was SPOTON! Thank you.

Carrabba’s used to be our favorite restaurant. My complaints are not with the actual location itself(Pt Charlotte), but more so with the downward turn the company is taking. Sadly I feel it is losing it’s quality, and heading down The Olive Garden path. From the shrinking menu, to the shrinking portions, it just is really starting to lack in what used to make Carrabba’s a top notch establishment. For a chain, it had a uniqueness, sadly, that is quickly fading.

Here during happy hour. Pleasant atmosphere, bartender great, Amy. She could not have been more accommodating. I had the shrimp Alfredo dish with thinner linguine, which was wonderful. Would definitely get it again

Every dissapointed with cioppini on new menu… HUGE ripoff. There were 6 tiny bay scallops, 2 shrimp, three mussels, 3 tiny clams for $ 15.99.OMG… A dollar a piece. Service was unbearably slow and we arrived at 4:30 so no rush.

I like the interior of this new Carrabas in Venice much better than the old one in Sarasota on Stickney Point Road. Food and service, OK but really nothing to brag about — not one of my favorite restaurants.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We figured it would be another mediocre Olive Garden-esque experience, but the service was very friendly, the portion sizes were large, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. And the sweet tea is just right!

Really happy we now have a location in Venice, we’ve been there a couple times and on each occasions was very good, one of the lunch portions was pretty small but the server took care of it immediately and went beyond our expectations with his service recovery. Great happy hour wine specials.

This Carrabas was new a couple of months ago. We went for a second time yesterday. They still have 3 hostesses but the crowd was thinner to everyone’s benefit. Things went much smoother. We had a light meal, only entrees. My wife had the grilled mahi mahi and I the lasagna. Green salad for both. The salad was excellent, fresh and glistening. Both entrees were very good. I’ve had the lasagna many times and it was just the way I like it, piping hot and a hint of crisp at the edges. Mahi mahi was nice and thick, not over cooked(see pic). Happy hour beer on tap was half price and ice cold. Service was very good but efficient. Carrabas consistently runs a good show. I think they will do well in Venice.

I was really impressed with the ambience of this place & the food didn’t disappoint us at all. The experience was pretty enjoyable & I would definitely entertain a big group in this resturant for sure, everyone would be satisfied to say the least.

WELLWORTHTHEWAIT ! tonight my wife, I and our 7yr old Son went to the new Carrabas in Venice FL. It’s a very popular restaurant(for good reason) and we had to wait about 35min before being seated, but I can tell you honestly It Was Worth The Wait ! All the staff was friendly and helpful. We really got the sense that they were committed to making our visit delightful. In particular, our Waitress Jodie was marvelous! She had a wonderful happy disposition when she interacted with my family(particularly little Jimmy) and went out of her way to make sure we had a splendid time! Plus the food was delicious. We will certainly go there again and when we do, We’ll Ask For Jodie. CHEERS !

Sure sucks out loud Hide contact carrabbas since I moved down to the state of Florida in 2003. I have found this place to serve consistently over salted food no matter what my dish was so if I’m driving down through any state in every state of the United States of America and I stopped by a caraba establishment. I can expect to have consistently over salted food and very very poor service so why would I want to pay for this what am I an idiot

We needed a simple dinner for 3 and decided on carry out. This restaurant is right off Siesta Key, and the beauty is it is a chain so you know what you get. Two dinners were more than enough for the three of us. Will do this again.

Ducked in with the fam to celebrate Aunt Weezy’s birthday party and was happy I did, specifically because: * I had the dinner deal meal, 3-courses for under $ 20 * I enjoyed the Steak /Sirloin Marsala and it was DELISH * The salad was fresh and tasty * The chocolate dream dessert was also a hit * Bob bought — SCORE! Thank you, Bob! I’ve been to this location a few other times with the fam. It is smallish and very busy with the blue-haired and seasonal crowd, so plan accordingly. They are currently undergoing an incremental construction upgrade so it is a continuing and slowly proceeding work-in-progress The most unimpressive thing about the entire experience, this time, was that the fried calamari was unimpressive. Great and super friendly service. I shall be back.
