Service was excellent. Food came in large portions and was delicious. Our group got the captains perch, jumbo shrimp and a burger. Everyone was very happy with the food. Little pricey for what it is but other wise great.

In a nutshell? YUM! The Sportsman has great pizza! It’s a great place to go when you’re in town for a drink and pizza within walking distance to the water (about two blocks away). When tourists are around, it’s usually pretty crowded — don’t plan on this for a ‘quick’ lunch or dinner stop.
Most surreal moment lately? We were having pizza at the Sportsman last weekend, and the table of drunks next to us were debating about Allah vs Buddha. Not exactly what I expect ‘up-​north.’
