Best fish and chips I have ever tasted! Love Joshua’s. Never miss an opportunity to stop in.

Ok. Just had dinner in the lounge. Husband ordered clam chowder and reported very good! I ordered ribeye steak. A bit over done. All in all the people at the bar made it very fun and loved our bartender Terry! She was the best!!!’

Joshua’s is located steps from the super 8 we were staying in and was more than a convenient place to have a hot breakfast on Christmas Eve. The place was decked out for the holiday and the waitress provided excellent friendly service. My fiancé had the taco omelet which he snarfed down. I enjoyed the pecan french toast. Everything was tasty and quick with endless coffee. Definitely a pleasant holiday surprise.

Had a hearty satisfying meal on a cold rainy day today. Bigger burger than I could eat + fries + clam chowder for $ 8! Service was great too. Thanks so much for the 10% Super 8 discount!

Got take out here a few weeks ago, called in for a salad then drove and picked it up, got a plane season for some reason still had to wait there for over 15 minutes. Didn’t stress me much cuz I was trying not to fall asleep as I was there, but once I got to my hotel I opened it up and the salad was soggy! Whoever made it put in so much dressing there was absolutely no crunch to it and the whole thing was soggy too. Hadn’t had a Caesar in a long time so I was really bummed out. First time I’ve thrown a salad away like that. Was also expensive.

We ate at Joshua’s three times in two days. It’s a great family owned and operated restaurant. Consistently great service and food. Definitely go for all you can eat fish and chips! The batter is light, locally brewed beer batter and it is perfectly crisp on the cod and halibut without getting soggy or overwhelming. The fries are great. We had regular and the Parmesan garlic truffle fries with gravy. The clam chowder is fresh and homemade chunky goodness. The omelet was super fresh and full of veggies, ham and cheese and came with some beautiful pumpernickel toast and homemade jam and hash browns. Yummy! We had the pick your seafood platter with fried shrimp, calamari, clam strips, and cod with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was a big generous portion. The clam strips were so tender! Just melted in your mouth. We also had the steak Joshua with the crab and shrimp topping and a twice baked potato. It was tasty. The blackberry cobbler is a big portion and great to share. And the coconut cream pie with a cup of fresh decaf was hard to beat. Bottom line? This is simple, straightforward, home cooked food served by some quick witted ladies that are sweet as sugar and attentive. We even met the owner who was a doll.

I went on s Sunday morning for breakfast about 9:00. There were very few diners. The restaurant seemed clean. I was seated promptly. My server was young, and seemed uncomfortable working with the public. I pointed out the fact that my glass was dirty before she poured my water. She actually did a little eye roll. The second glass she offered was also dirty. Guess how she responded? I can tell you she did not apologize. Eventually a clean water glass was found. I ordered Josuha’s Special; two sausages, one biscuit with sausage gravy, hashbrowns, and an egg over medium. I think it was about $ 9. My food arrived very quickly. It looked great and I dug in. It was not very good. Everything just tasted off, rather like old grease. My egg was cooked fine, but again tasted bad. The sausages were a bit overcooked, and did not seem to be good quality. The biscuit was ok, but the gravy had that same odd flavor. It was unappetizing. I ate less than a third of the meal. I won’t be going back.

So the bar is a bit dated. So what? The wide screen TVs show good football. That is. Until the bartender switches on the baseball game. As for the barkeep, or LaDonna. She will remember your order perfectly without writing it down– including your drink order! If you ask her nicely she will make you fresh popcorn, as long as you don’t leave the scoop in the popper. As for the food, it was pretty good except for the EXCELLENT salad she made herself. We were too full to try the cobbler but heard that it is out of this world. All that said, you will get pretty good food served by a witty and brazen smart ass. So be cool you will be well entertained.

Lots of good fries with mediocre/decent bacon cheese burger. Motzo cheese sticks good even if the cooks don’t understand«appetizer» means cook before the main meal. Amazing dble 7&7 made by Ladona topped off good meal, I like this gal. Oh, and they have Mannys on tap! Need a place to watch the Seahawks? This is going to be the solid choice!

This place is terrible. We love dives(LOVE them), and will be the first to give a dive diner five stars if it’s a hidden gem of culinary ka-pow. But this place getting five-star reviews? Does not compute. Not even a little bit. Not unless the reviewers are drunk and/or trying to punk all of Unilocal. We ordered chicken wings(tasted like the crappy, pre-Buffalo’d wings you can buy at Costco), a Caesar salad that turned out to the worst salad in history(watery, flavorless dressing; soggy croutons), which also came alongside four pieces of «Texas Toast»(you can totally Google that; it also comes frozen, out of a box), and the top sirloin steak, baked potato, and«fresh vegetables.» The vegetables were two(yep; that’s it!) pieces of soggy steamed broccoli, and a bevy of round, thin carrot slices that looked like they came out of(you guessed it!) a freezer bag of some sort. The steak was bland and flavorless, as was everything else on the plate. The baked potato was tiny and came with a vat of butter and a dollop of flavor-less sour cream. The only reason to stop at this place is if you’re staying at a nearby hotel(which we were), and even then, getting in your car to find someplace better is worth your time, and the price of gas. Your GI system and your checkbook will be grateful.

Like some of the reviews on here I agree that the coffee is a little weaker than I’m used to do it took a few cups tondo the trick. Eggs Benedict were excellent with a generous amount of Hollandaise. Good breakfast menu.

Ordered steak and eggs for breakfast and had a very l-o-n-g wait because«the steak takes longer to cook». However once I got the order it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Would definitely come back again(but maybe not order the steak and eggs this time)!

The Fish & Chips were outstanding. All-You-Can Eat on Monday and Wednesday nights. Real fried cod. Batter very light and flavorful. Above average cole slaw and fries. I am a big fried fish person and this exceeded my expectations! Give them a try. Don’t know why the $$$$ on this restaurant. Its not fast food, but I ate by myself for $ 15 which included the tip.

Flowers are extremely poisonous don’t eat them. The carpet is impeccable. If you like great fried duck liver come here. Make sure to get a reservation though because its a packed house. My nephew had the asparagus French fries and muskrat. Original artwork on the walls and huge buffet. My new favorite Tuesday morning cigar bar.

Could not wait to leave. Food was bland, mashed potatoes from a box, rice was awful and canned corn that looked as if it had been rewarmed from last week.(The corn was the color of horse teeth). Boxed shrimp all topped off with lousy country music station reminiscent of bad memories. I am traumatized. On the positive side the waitress was very friendly.

I’ve been to Joshua’s twice this week for breakfast. Both times the service was excellent and the food was great. I’m very surprised at the negative reviews.

They REALLY need to get better coffee — absolutely watered down.Yuck. But the Denver omelet was tasty. The bartender is great — and the quesadillas were really good. Yes, not fancy, but we had a great time.

Shit coffee and bland food, but at least it’s a nice environment and the service is decent. I was there last weekend and I ordered eggs, hash browns and chicken fried steak. The eggs were done right but the hash browns were bland, the gravy was very bland and the chicken fried steak was super thin and very rubbery. Thank the Gods they had hot-sauce.
