The food is traditional Chinese American buffet. You can’t find many true all-you-can-eat buffet any more, so if you need to eat this place has got you covered. Make sure to get a drink at the bar while you’re there as they are very reasonably priced and poor good drinks.

This place looks like a dump on the outside but it looks better on the inside. The food is fair to good. There is a bland chicken curry dish that seems like it was made from a recipe off a Campbells Soup can but I still like it as ti is my favorite buffet item. and they have cut tomatoes on the salad bar. There are not too many places to eat in Port Angeles in my opinion so this is a decent buffet to pig out at white visiting the north Olympic Peninsula. The women who work here seem like good business people but the outside of this place looks like lowlifes might be in this restaurants but that is not the case.

Stopped by here because of the Unilocal reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. Not a big buffet for lunch, but the food was fresh, tasty, attentive service, and reasonably priced, everything one looks for in a buffet. $ 9 for lunch including a beverage is a pretty good deal IMO. Discounted prices for Seniors and kids. $ 3 more for dinner. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Port Angeles.

As Chinese buffets go, especially on the peninsula, this one exceeded my expectations. Of course, it’s a Chinese buffet, so that that as you will. There’s more selection than I expected, more of a pan-Asian and American than strictly Chinese. And they rotate it(on Sundays, anyway) fairly often. It’s not all flavorful or unique, but it is filling, and there’s a good balance of protein with filler and desserts. Plus, it’s pretty darn cheap.

Ever walk into a buffet and look at the items and say«hey that looks not very fresh i’ll ask if they’ll put out more»? … well that happened today… except I was waiting patiently for the lady who ran the counter to get off of her cell phone… eventually 10 minutes later, I just walked up to ask her if she could have them make some fresh stuff… she rudely told me that she was waiting for us to leave so she could rotate the dinner items… I told her to go ahead and rotate it because i’d rather pay an extra buck for the ability to actually have fresh food rather then old, stale, crusty, nasty looking prison slop. she got up and went back to the kitchen and I could have swore I heard her screaming in chinese or whatever which made me giggle a little bit cause frantically they started to put out the fresh stuff. I immediately went and grabbed ALL of the mussles that they put out as well as their fried scallops … I knew this would piss her off and I proceeded to eat ALLOFTHEM … The mussles were rubbery and tasted like they were cooked before christmas, and the scallops were covered in some kind of breading that was probably shipped frozen from cisco foods… either way, even though it was absolutely disgusting I felt like I was treated like a snubbed person so I held my breath while I cleared that plate… AN’ DEN! I went back!!! I filled the plate up again with whatever they put out there… still same rubbery disgusting garbage! my friend noted that as I went up there a second time the MEAN old asian lady who was running the place had pointed at me and said something in cantonese or whatever they were speaking no doubt it was rude but at that point she was already rude so it didn’t matter, i’d never be coming here again… Upon checking out, they tried to make both of us pay for the lunch and the dinner, but my friend never ate anything after the dinner items came out, the kid who was checking us out, who might have been her son, was actually quite nice as I apologized for asking them to cook some fresh food that they don’t normally serve for dinner items… and what does MEAN old lady do??? she saunters over and says«you as me to pu’ ou’ dinna’ item.» I said yes, I did. and thanks for that. and she snubbed her nose in the air and I asked if that was a problem… she said«No.» and walked away. Seriously, worst buffet and experience i’ve ever had anywhere. I live and play in vegas and i’m surprised that a place like this can maintain and keep customers… I’m also honestly sure that there was a homeless lady in there that they let eat there for free. this homeless lady was schizo, talking to her imaginary friend, praying to something she called the«darkness» and muttering to her soup as she stirred it… As soon as I got home I ended up getting sick everywhere, I feel much better now and I hope that you can avoid yelling old ladies, and crazy witch homeless people and of course botulism and a night of food poisoning by just skipping this place and instead going somewhere, ANYWHERE else for your meal.

this place was awarded«best chinese» in port angeles… or on the kitsap peninsula… they had a bunch or little plaques stating so. I have NO idea how or why they won this… maybe there’s no other chinese restaurants to compete with? this was, hands down, the WORST chinese buffet i have ever been to… it might have been the time of day(1pm in afternoon)…i don’t know. I came here with my dad(who swears by the all you can eat for your money code of dining out) and my step mom… being a vegan, i crept over to the buffet area in a hopeful but skeptic manner. there was skin growing on what few choices they had. the string beans were shriveled up and brown. every dish that they had, looked as though it had been there for hours… left to slowly dry up under the heat lamps. i retreated back to the front counter to grab a menu… where i was assured by the waitress that«there’s a buffet». i kindly let her know that i knew of the buffet, but didn’t want to. confused by this, she wearily sent over another waitress to take my order. interested in chow mein, i proceeded to ask if there was egg in the noodles… bad idea. the waitress sighed… sauntered back to the kitchen… a few minutes later, she came back and told me to look at the chow mein in the buffet to see if there was egg. trying to be nice, i obliged. when i returned, i told her that just by looking at the noodles i couldn’t tell… this only increased the confusion. after a full minute of uncomfortable, confused silence, she understood… or at least pretended to… walked back to the kitchen and came back to attest that there was no egg in the noodles… i ordered tofu chow mein hold the egg… it was much better quality then i assumed it would be… thus winning it a second star. my dad did not get food poisoning from the buffet… thumbs up.

The food had been under the heat lamp way too long. We tried to eat the food as the staff brought out fresh dishes, however half of them had a strange taste to them. I have been to many Chinese buffets and this was by far the worst I had ever been to. The chicken skewers were Ok, and that was what I ended up mainly eating, after sampling a dozen other dishes. There inside was humid and muggy, and even the fortune cookies had a strange texture and stale taste.

This Chinese food buffet had excellent selection, nice décor, affordable prices. Plus there’s a nice pond display dividing the room.
