New ownership and definitely not what it use to be. I had the brisket on a tiny burnt bun(watched them burn the bun in front of me and just knew they wouldn’t serve it… they did). The brisket was okay, but I was really looking forward to getting some of their awesome mac and cheese. Boy was I disappointed as it was under seasoned and no where near the same. Their tiny corn muffins were inedible.

Owners are very friendly. It’s as deep in Poquoson as you can get on Messick Point. I had the BBQ burrito($ 7.50). Was decent but I didn’t love it. Got a side of Mac and Cheese($ 2.75) though and that was amazing. Place has a cool atmosphere and is a cool destination meal place. Make a trip of it and stop at one of the seafood markets. They also served St. George, Sweetwater, Budweiser products in bottles(maybe Michelob too). Our St. George beers were $ 4.75 so not cheap but not unbelievable. I think they had a domestic happy hour for $ 1.50 a bottle. All in all I’d say it’s worth a visit.

The owners of BIB are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is out on a finger peninsula off of Poquoson making it a little out of the way; however, the freshly pulled pork and homemade sauces were worth the journey. The price point was very reasonable with all our lunch meals coming in under $ 10. I ordered the pulled pork with two sides and corn muffin or bun for $ 7.95. The baked beans and macaroni and cheese were quite tasty. Another diner with me ordered the wings and was very happy with them; they were MASSIVE! I might not go out of my way to eat there, but I will put it in a lunch rotation. The good news for NASA or Langley employees is that BIB is placing its trailer along the road into Poquoson and will be serving lunch, hopefully next week.
