Everything you would want from a sit-down eatery, good service, delicious food. Price is right for daily specials and served warm.

There is always a long wait time to be seated on the weekends. The food is good and a wide variety to select from. Servers are friendly but due to the crowds the service is a little slow. If you have time to kill and no place to be in the near future, this is a good place for you.

Staff are always courteous even when restaurant is busy. Picking the correct meal plan helps with speed of meal arrival. Some don’t like the food here and especially those that don’t like pork(muslim and Jewish faith) as it’s in everything here!

We travel frequently and tend to love CrackerBarrel. This one is a disappointment however. We came on a Sunday, the place was busy, but they should be prepared for that. Food was slow, we had to ask for things repetitively, and then the food was undercooked. Very poor service, food of low quality, and inattentive staff made our experience a poor one.

I have never had a bad meal at cracker barrel although this pooler location is sure to be out of the Special or half out of it every time. Who has turkey dinner without stuffing? They do ! Brings dinner out but says stuffing will take another 10 minute. Did this to us many times here with meals. Always tries to makeup for it with free dessert and one time manager gave us whole meal free. Then big line in front to pay so cashier gets in a hurry never bother asking me to add tip so you can blame cashier for getting shorted on your tip last night since she’s in a big hurry. You lost 20% because regardless of dressing mishap I still intended on leaving 20%. not only that I will avoid coming there anymore and save my cracker barrel trips for the road somewhere else. So guess what cracker barrel pooler… you won’t see my ugly mug there ever again. You used up the one strike rule with me and bs service which comes from management not stocking enough food especially for your dam special. Fire management

I was craving chicken and dumplings so I decided to make them from scratch. Long story short I burned them horribly and we needed a place to go while the house aired out. My son and I headed to Cracker Barrel for the sole purpose or acquiring chicken and dumplings. Mission accomplished. They were okay, not great, but they did save the night. We’ve always come for breakfast and I think I’ll stick to breakfast. While the food didn’t stand out the service did. We were promptly seated on a busy Friday night. Our waitress came over right away and got our drink order. She was really sweet to my shy son and let him awkwardly whisper his order and she let him take his time getting it out. She was friendly and attentive. Ask to sit in Ashley P’s section, you will be well taken care of with her.

This place has some good old country food. In my opinion, this particular location is dirty. They really need to take care of the cleanliness. To start with, their sweet tea is pretty good and It’s unlimited refills. My favorite entrée is their Blackened Grilled Catfish and I always get Coleslaw and Mac N Cheese as my sides. I also love the muffins that they give you before your meal, but I am not a big fan of their corn bread. The muffins taste good with apple butter or some jam. They also have lunch specials from Monday to Friday. Those are good portion and price lunch. The service here is average, it can be good or bad depending on the day. I have been to other locations which were definitely better than this location. Three stars just for the food.

Dang. Not much good to say about our experience here. The restaurant was VERY cold, so we knew we’d have to eat our dinners quickly once they did arrive. Friendly waiter, but he dropped the ball when I complained about the sour seasonal fruit side dish and cold corn muffins being inedible. Instead of offering replacements he just said he’d inform his manager of the problem. We don’t know if he eventually did so, but the manager was standing nearby and our waiter didn’t approach him while we were there. Eventually we just paid for our mediocre meals and left in disgust.

Had breakfast here on way home from vacation. We were starving and there was no wait… YAY! Both had sunrise sampler and it was delicious! Carla was our server and she was delightful.

We stopped here on our way to Daytona Beach. We had already driven for several hours and were happy to finally get out of the car and stop for a bite to eat. Its as if «Ashley» already knew what we had faced in the car all of those hours and checked on us several times during our meal to make sure we were ok. I ordered the Monday special: baked chicken with dressing and fried okra. The portion was just right as I really didn’t want to feel overstuffed after getting back on the road. I would stop here again.

Went by today, had the Veggies Platter. The food was the same as always, hot and yummy. This is my «Go To» Cracker Barrel. Tonight the service was a bit off, not sure why? Overall I will go back because it’s the closest CB to me. Food-good, Service-?

Waited 5 minutes to be be seated because someone in management was complaining about tables(conversation could have waited and should not take place in front of customers). Food was too greasy. Ivonna, our server, was great!!!

This is our go to place many Friday evenings. There are a number of things I like about this place. You seldom have to wait long. Even while waiting you can browse at the various items for sale. There is a lot to choose from. The second thing I like is that the food is always fresh and comes out of the kitchen at a good pace. in fact one time when our chicken wasn’t cooked fully we didn’t have to dicker. The waitress immediately brought out the manger. He apologized and we had dinner free that evening. One Achilles Heel. They have candy from the 1960s. My Childhood calls and I give in.

I eat out working in the road 8 – 10 times per week. I usually eat at Cracker Barrel at least twice. This location is usually really busy. Last night about 7PM, server was really helpful and courteous. I ordered breakfast and it came out piece by piece. Gravy came out first, 10 minutes later biscuits came out. Was not super busy(rainy & cold). Kitchen was slow. Took about 30 minutes. Food quality was great & server offered more hit biscuits & gravy.

I love coming here for breakfast especially before a long road trip seeing as how the food manages to pit me to sleep every time. We were seated immediately and were offered coffee by our waitress. She was one of the kindest, nicest waitresses that I have ever had. She catered to all of our needs and crazy requests with smile on her face that made us feel special. We started out with some biscuits which were good especially when slathered with bitter and blackberry jelly. My mom ordered granny’s breakfast(2 pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns) with egg beaters that she of coursed loved all with the exception of the eggs because they needed some more seasoning. I ordered mommas pancake breakfast that tasted awesome but the eggs also could of used some seasoning. Still enjoyed my food and would definitely come back!

December 26, 1:41PM. On our way to Florida. Just for the record, don’t ever stop at this Cracker Barrel. Worst service I have ever experienced. Took over 15 minutes to see a waitress once seated, then another 40 minutes to be served a salad, and when the food came, My wife’s order was wrong. The waitress argued with her about what she ordered, claiming they didn’t offer anything resembling what she described, and then after being shown what she ordered on the Menu, she stormed off and it took the waitress another 10 minutes, before My wife got part of her order. Our drinks were never refilled, other guest being seated in thus waitress’ area were seen leaving after not being greeted in a timely manner. All through this, the manager was nowhere to be found, when we paid the bill, we told the cashier and she shrugged it off. — eating lunch at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.

Its hit or miss with this place… Sometimes the food is decent and some its less than. I haven’t found another breakfast spot in Pooler that I like better so I tend to come back. Although the food isn’t always up to snuff the wait staff have always been nice friendly and prompt.

I love this restaurant, but today was horrible! I ordered the Grandpa brkft w/chicken fried chicken. My eggs were runny. I ordered a pancake that came out burnt initially. When the manager brought out the corrected rode the pancake was under cooked and still raw in the center! My waitress Jessica went home in the middle of my service. She was replaced by Kenya who was CLUELESS and only came to the table to drop off my check. No manager even apologized or came to see me again after the second mishap. Very disappointed!!!

My wife loves the food here, but I’ve never been a huge fan. The foods not bad, the biscuits are food. I think the price is reasonable. The service is slow. They have a good gift shop, but I hate it because my kids always throw a fit if they can’t get a toy. I only go here when I’m forced from the woman.

Food was great. Within walking distance of our hotel. Would’ve gotten five stars if they could’ve brought ketchup to the table the first time(and not after the fourth request) and been better acquainted with their check policy. I’m sorry I’m traveling with a check book, but don’t accept checks and then huff and puff when you have to accept one. Train your staff better or move into the 21st Century and process checks as debit to ACH, like everyone else in the free world.

Leaving Savannah, we figured this would be the best way to get a late breakfast. For him, it was. For me, mixed bag. No oatmeal after 10? Out of apple bran muffins? How’s a girl supposed to get her fiber? But, they managed to get me a bowl of granola(no milk for me, either? Made do with one of those little half and half containers). And they did get me egg whites, so it was ok. And he gave me his grits. Not quite our usual CB good review, but it was only $ 17, and we picked up a present for the cousins. Back on the road, and that’s what it’s all about.

They forgot to get my mother her salad and my straw we had to remind the waitress 3 times!!! Finally at the end of the meal when she was bringing the check we had to remind her about the salad. Also the chicken tenderloin dinner(fried) with 4 pieces of chicken was much smaller than I expected. I would recommend Cheddars for chicken tenderloins lol.
