I booked a room at the Super 8 about 2 weeks ago. The room I reserved was not the one I was put in, so that was a tad bit annoying. It took a while to get checked in and the lady at the desk wasn’t pleasant to deal with at all. I’m not sure how old the building is, but with every step you take the floors squeak. The appliances in my room were ancient and unsightly, the bedding was STIFF and paper thin, and the bathroom was pretty gross. There was a MASSIVE urine stain around the toilet on the floor like it had been sitting there for weeks before it was cleaned. The hotel wasn’t very soundproof either. I could hear the comings and goings of literally every person on the second floor. Upon checkout, I waited at the counter for several minutes before the person working there came to the front. He wasn’t polite either. Definitely avoiding this place like the plague next time I’m in town. You get what you pay for.

Not a bad place to set your stuff in for the night but the spring and summer seems to have an ant and bug problem.

i liked the frige and nuke, but not the kitty cat smell. Turned up the air conditioning, and that helped.

Definitely the cheap hotel in Pontiac. Mattresses are terrible, lobby and breakfast area is the size of a closet. Walls are too thin so you can hear everything from the alarm clock in the next room to the two Mexicans that got in a fight in the hallway at 1:00am. Oh and the black hair on the ledge of our bathtub was a nice touch.

Keep going. Had to stay in this place for 2 weeks for work… The items that I want to list wrong with this place is to much. I actually went to wall — mart and bought a tent and camped locally. I was lucky that the water was the only thing working at this hotel. Almost a $ 100 for the night!!! I would rather sleep in my car and shower at a truck stop. 2013 – 2014

Average rooms and building, good location, but most importantly the front desk was helpful and knowledgeable about the area; even providing hand drawn directions. Would stay again and I highly recommend the 2nd shift front desk staff for any questions or help you may need!

Slightly smoky smell in common areas but our non smoking room was clean and comfortable. Bonus mini fridge and microwave was a nice touch. Would stay at again.

We had a room with two double beds and also a mini fridge, microwave, and small coffee pot. The room was clean and the beds slept well. As expected with the price point the room had a dated look and feel but still clean and affordable which was all we needed.

I don’t know what the other person is talking about. The room I stayed in was clean and the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful! This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and think it’s a great value with friendly staff. I’d really recommend it.

BEDBUGS!!! Two hours into my stay, I pulled a big red bed bug off the back of my neck. There was blood on my pillow, I pulled back the sheets and there were eight bugs crawling in the bed. There were more crawling along the side of the mattress. I collected as many as I could and took them and my bloody pillow to the front desk, all they did was offer me a new room. Then that room had ladybugs flying all over the place and at least 50 dead on the window sill. Same goes for the bedbug room too. Needless to say we left and went across the street to the Holiday Inn. All the manager had to say was that I wont be charged for the Super 8 room. Gee, thanks, I was in it for 3 hours.
