Genesis Coney & Grill

Overall, I was very unimpressed by this restaurant. When we arrived there was only one person working in the entire place, both cooking and taking the orders. They carry Coke products, but they were out of Coke, Cherry Coke, and Mellow Yellow. They may have been out of more, but I gave up on ordering pop after those three strikes. I was kind of surprised by how well the single staff member handled his duties, but no one should or can run a restaurant by themselves without sacrificing either food or service. In this case it was service, no refills and took a very long time to receive the bill.
The food was pretty much what you would expect, greasy coney food. Nothing spectacular, but it was adequate. We found out later that the lone employee was actually the owner. He was very friendly, which is why he is getting two stars instead of one. The server showed up as we were leaving, though the restaurant had been open for four hours at that point.
I won’t be going back.
