I would absolutely recommend this nail salon/spa! I usually go to mimis nails down the road in Pompton lakes but my last experience there wasn’t great. The lady screwed up my gel and made it too thin and when I went in to see if they would repair it they said I would have to wait 40 mins… so I kept driving and saw this place. Called up and asked if they had openings and she said yes come on in. I needed a gel manicure, and pedicure. They were very accommodating! I brought my 10 month old daughter who woke up from her nap and was very needy… the owner and the lady sarah that did my pedicure were very understanding and helped me with my baby girl so I could get me nails done! Absolutely amazing and super sweet women! I will definitely be back because they were so wonderful and they did a great job! Love their shellac polish!

This is my go to nail salon in the area. All of the women who work there are always very pleasant. In the past, I’ve gotten excellent manicures which last much longer than of other nail salons I’ve gone to. All of the girls there do an excellent job. They also save a nail file set for you for when you return in the future, which most places don’t do.

I recently went to Swan Nails with my mom and sister. They were very accommodating and took all three of us at the same time! We all got the Spa Manicure for $ 15 and our nails and skin turned out amazing. They even give you a back massage as you wait for your nails to dry. The workers were very friendly and they actually save your own personal nail file for every time that you go in. I totally recommend it for those in the area.

Went there based on reviews. Will not go back. All 3 seats I sat in during mani/pedi were badly stained or ripped. Not inviting at all. No surface next to pedi chairs to set coffee, magazine etc-had to keep coffee between my thighs. Girl put polish on so thick that FOUR hours later it isn’t dry and I just rubbed wet pink nail polish across envelope for wedding I am heading to. Just showered & dressed carefully — nothing else-and I have 4 nails with smooshed nail polish. God knows what my toes will look like after dancing in pumps.

I moved to Ringwood about four years ago and I have had a tough time finding an affordable and efficient nail salon. I am so happy I finally found Swan nail salon in Pompton ! They are super clean, accommodating, and friendly. They take their time with your nails and do a really nice fresh look. They have a big selection of Essie and OPI nail polishes. I really like the setting of the salon as well because I get to watch tv while I get my nails done. They also have a rewards program so you can accumulate points and get free services! I love it here!

I have been going to Swan Nails for almost 10 years. I am very particular about how my nails are done, and Arie never fails to amaze me. If I have a crazy idea for my nails she’s always down for the challenge. I used to get LCN nails, until I realized I had to start saving some money. This was the only place that did them right and took their time. Even though it would take a while, I knew they were being done exactly how I wanted. Although the place needs work, it is very clean. They sanitize all of their tools, and even have individual files and buffers for each customer. As a regular customer for 10 years, anytime I go for a quick manicure elsewhere I always regret it. Arie is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone. If you try this place out you will not be disappointed! It will be your new go to place!

I wasn’t even going to bother writing a review since I don’t have anything good to say, but seeing that all the reviews are kind of old, ill do the next victim a favor and give an updated review. do not waste your money here if you are looking for quality service as far as tips and gels go. I had to take my daughter to a different nail salon the following day to have them fixed! shaping was wayyy off! I should have done myself a favor and bought Lee press on nails and they would have looked nicer.

Thought I’d try this place since I had a Groupon. Two friendly ladies(perhaps the owners) greeted me upon arrival & spoke English well. But their 3 employees didn’t speak English or chose not to. They rolled their eyes at their boss. They reluctantly took new clients-acted like they were being forced into labor. Never interacted with the customers. They need employees that want to be there. By day 2, my polish from my regular manicure, had rubbed off 3 nails. Not chipped, rubbed off — strange. Place needs remodeling. Flooring is made up of multiple pieces of linoleum. I don’t believe they used sterile tools for my pedicure as they just grabbed tools out of their plastic drawer. I will say that I did get a nice shoulder massage as nails were drying. I will not be going back.

I had my pedicure done there occasionally. My big toe caught a fungus and it dawned on me that they didn’t properly sterilized their tools. Never go back there ever again.

Their services and abilities are awesome, no doubt… They’re all qualified and friendly too :) Regular pedicures have hot stones and fresh cucumbers and with a manicure you receive a moisturizing treatment. I love that they use the shellac ~ long lasting, but doesn’t need the dremel to remove it, so much kinder to your nails :) The only thing I take issue with is the state of disrepair & cleanliness of the salon itself. Stained ceiling tiles, a broken hair wash sink to wash hands in and washer & dryer in the bathroom with the water hookup utilizing the sink, along with some dust, makes it hard for me to feel very relaxed and comfortable. The salon is very small as well, specifically in the pedicure area. I really wish they’d do a bit of remodeling, better cleaning and also switch to using disposable utensils as newer salons do… But I still find myself continuing to go back. They have some combo deals on certain days. Although they never seem to work for what I’m getting and the day I’m there, it’s perfectly fine, because the pricing is average and completely fair.

This is my go-to for when I need to get my eyebrows done or get a mani. I am usually very picky with how my eyebrows get done but this is one of the few places that are on point. Ariel is super friendly and she always does my nails very nicely and never rushes even though there are other customers waiting which says a lot. Great customer service.

Visited Swan last weekend for a $ 23 pedicure with my mom. Swan had a steady flux of patrons but they were not swamped. The young girl that did my pedicure was quiet but friendly. My mom and I relaxed and watched HGTV while they did our toes. My mom had Lily do her pedicure and she says she prefers her every time. Very efficient and the price is right. While my toes dried, they gave me a short shoulder massage. They use the Belly rewards incentive program. Swan is right in the center of Pompton Lakes on Wanaque Ave. There is metered parking outside and I believe it’s only $ 0.50 for two hours. One of the things I really appreciated was that when the service was complete, I wasn’t an oily, moisturized mess– sliding around in my flip flops. I would come back on another visit to the area.

Great customer service. The best pedicures around. Custom shellac colors. And up to date on new techniques and colors. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and its still my favorite place!

I usually like getting the French manicure but I save it for special occasions since it only lasts a few days before it begins to chip and is pricier than the normal manicure. But the last time, they offered me a free trial of the Shellac nail polish, which is supposed to last for two weeks. I gave it a shot since it was a free trial. I’m a daycare teacher constantly using my hands, and by the end of the school day, my manicures barely make it out alive without a chip. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually lasted a little more than two weeks without a single chip and it stayed just as shiny and glossy as the first day. Even though it’s a bit pricier than your regular manicure, I’ve become a fan and don’t think I’ll go back to regular nail polish!
