My best friend and I have been customers of Mimi nails 2000 for some time now. We normally come in every 3 weeks on a Friday night. I have Cindy do my nails and eyebrows and she normally has V or Anna do her nails. We love the way they do our nails and have never really had any issues. The salon is nothing glamorous, it’s a bit dirty and could use a good cleaning. I would never get a pedicure here only because I don’t feel they are very clean. We will not be returning after Friday’s incident. I got my nails and eyebrows done, no issues. My best friend’s daughter got a manicure no issues. As we were waiting for my friends nails to be finished up. (She had a picture of what she wanted done and Anna said she could do it no problem) she was getting a special design on her ring fingers. When Anna did the design on one nail my friend wasn’t sure if she liked it. So before the next nail was done she was asking me if I liked it. I said I do but it’s your nails and you have to live with them so if you don’t like them ask her take it off that ONE nail. Anna said she couldn’t take it off because it was gel and my friend said oh ok no problem. Well one of the nail techs the only guy who works there, opens his big mouth where it doesn’t belong. He started to berate and belittle my friend by telling her everytime she comes in its a problem and she’s always changing her mind and it takes too long and we don’t appreciate the work they do and how hard they try to make us happy. Mind you my friend is 9 months pregnant and about to give birth in 1 week. It only went down hill from there. He kept on going. It was embarrassing and awkward. I have never been spoken to like that by someone who works somewhere. He was a major a$$hole and the owner (Anna) didn’t even step in an tell him to knock it off. At the end I just said this is complete bullish! t we didn’t even do anything. I am never returning again there are 100’s of other nail salons out there! As we were walking out and on the sidewalk he yelled at us «don’t come back» so I flipped right around and opened the door and said what did you just say!!! I used lots of choice words to let him know what a piece of crap he is. Anna said I’m sorry twice at that moment. But really, it was a little late for that. Never coming back. If you want to be treated like crap and have a stressful experience by all means go there!
