Sam’s subs had been in business for sixteen years. The new owners have taken it to the next level. The restaurant and the kitchen are very clean, it’s a small kitchen that is well cared for. The restaurant has been updated and is a staple in the community. The customers are regulars and everyone is treated special. I am a very picky foodie and I would say the subs are as good as La Spadas. The menu includes salads, subs, breakfast sandwiches as well as chicken wings and fresh smoothies plus, much more! The best part is the fast service. It’s unbelievable how fast the food is prepared. It’s a local favorite with ice cold beer and big flat screen tvs. Groups get together to watch sporting events. I highly recommend this place. Just got the Cuban sandwich and it’s better than the sandwiches I get in Miami. Its. all about the bread! The products are all fresh and the meat is boars head. Most importantly my kids love the place and always beg me to take them there. The girls that run the place are hardworking and actually care about their customers and take pride in the food they are serving. So many times I go somewhere and the people working do not care at all. It’s obvious that Sam’s is different. I could eat lunch here everyday.

«We’re not going to Diamond Dolls, are we?» I ask as I drive my Chevy Equinox northbound on Powerline Road. «I mean, listen, I get that they serve free food at lunch, but I was thinking more along the lines of a sub sandwich.» My co-worker asks me to place my trust in him. He says, «You need to place your trust in me. This place exists.» And, so it does. It’s located in the warehouse district on Powerline Road. It’s difficult to find. I honestly didn’t know it existed. The search on Unilocal was long and hard, and Unilocalers reported that this place closed. However, I visited today and this place is very much in business. Could it be that it closed and then re-opened? Hmmmm? Anyhow, I ordered a cold turkey and cheese sub with chips, and a bottle of water. I cut out soda two years ago and haven’t had one since. I drink water with everything … at lunch time. The sub sandwich was surprisingly good. Better bread better subs, I say. They use Boar’s Head products, too. Everything seems really fresh, including the white onions, lettuce and tomatoes. I had them put some Italian seasoning, oil and vinegar on it, too. It was really good. Don’t judge a book by its cover. You should travel to this place and enjoy its terrific sub sandwiches. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s better than La Spada’s(several locations) and V&S(Boca Raton), but it’s worth a visit.
