Pudgies Cafe

I went to this place for Lunch with my co-​worker last week, 6 years ago everything was so good –home style… The owner Pudgie, speaks to his waitress staff in Portuguese, and is rude to everyone. We had the Pork loin special-​He used to make it from real Pork lion-​today he sliced it off a cheap pressed meat deli pork roll… and put warm canned gravy over it. Funny thing is his prices went way up– Our waitress was kind of cold like the food. I would never come back to this dirty little hole in the wall-​Save your money. Even the local fishermen no longer eat here –It was 12.30 PM and the place was almost empty. Place is a Joke ! Do yourself a favor & Pass !) 8) 8

I have almost always gotten the Veggie omelette, and I love watching Pudgie personally slice all the fresh veggies that go into it. It is heaven… not sure how he even makes the egg into an omelette around the deliciousness.
The over easy eggs are also incredible.
Haven’t tried their lunch options, however.
If you’re in town and want the world’s best breakfast, find this little place… you won’t be disappointed!

One of my favorite places for breakfast and they have a good lunch menu too. Breakfast all day Saturday is my favorite! … Great prices too and they deliver locally. Definitely worth checking out. All the staff are friendly

I have been here over 100+ times. A local tucked away neighborhood joint that serves up good home style food. Breakfast is always good and they have daily fresh cooked specials for lunch. Small place with 8 stools along the counter and 6 tables. I had my usual at this establishment the Ham & Cheddar Cheese omelet with red potatoes and rye toast. The beverages are self-​service so don’t feel like your imposing going behind the counter to get your own soft drinks from the machine. The situation is the same for the coffee. Self-​service. Don’t be shy. Manny the cook is a character right out of a Saturday night live restaurant skit. He always has something to say and he takes his time cooking your food. You get it when you get it. He doesn’t rush. Worth checking out. I certainly will be back soon.
