A very cute park with a tiny parking lot that only has a dozen parking spaces. And yes, they enforce the parking meters here as we saw someone drive by checking. A sand lot with monkey bars and the like for the kids and a short dock for the fishermen and women. As well, bathrooms if you’re into the public bathroom thing. Nice view of the lighthouse, but you’ll get a better view if you head down to Canada House though there’s no public parking there.

A very small public park that sits on the Intarcoastal Waterway and the entrance to the Atlantic Ocean(a scenic view). The Hillsboro Inlet Park is located directly next on the Inlet’s North side(A1A and N. Riverside Drive) of the draw bridge. The high point of this small quaint park is a view of the historical lighthouse across the inlet and an recovered«ships bell» dedicated to the fisherman of 1900’s. There are public benches surrounding the perimeter of the outlet, a small playground, metered parking, a self-rental bicycle station and a very clean bathroom. Overall it’s a place to stop for that«National Lampoon’s Vacation» movie moment(with Chevy Chase) to take a picture next to the ship bell, one with the Hillsboro Lighthouse in the background, and get back in your car and be on your way(sigh). Cheers!

Picturesque little park on the water overseeing the Hillsboro inlet. A wonderful place to relax and watch boaters going from the intercoastal out into the sea and back, the park offers great view of the Lighthouse. There is a playground, benches, a few tables and grills, the park is small and clean, and you can usually find several fishermen trying for a lucky catch.

Nice and clean park, and on the water, but very little to do here. You can see the lighthouse, but you cannot access it without a reservation and exorbitant fee…

Hellsboro Inlet Park is a very small park bordering a small south side spot along Hillsboro Inlet near Highway A1A and the Inlet Draw Bridge. Though it has some rest room facilities it isn’t much of a park, generally serving more as a children’s playground, with few other facilities. The parking lot tends to be crowded by the vehicles of fisherman and those doing nearby shopping, so parking can be difficult and it has no access for swimming. As for being a park, the area offers a lot better than this.

Across the inlet from the picturesque Hillsboro Lighthouse and just before crossing the inlet drawbridge, you’ll find this little gem of a park. It’s modern and clean with free parking and amenities such as a small playground for the little ones, plenty of benches, a short boardwalk and pier and restrooms. This is a nice spot to read a book, have a picnic lunch or just sit and watch the boats come into the inlet from the ocean. A nice breeze always blows here. The parking lot is small, though. This is as close as you’re going to by car unless you’re a member of the private Hillsboro Club. If you’re hungry, there is a bagel shop across the street from the park.
