We love Christina’s, go every week. Her meatballs delicious, we always order pikilia, gyros is best, her fries are to die for, even my picky kids love her food. Also good for to go.

We came in for dinner and were warmly greeted; which reflected the service for the rest of the night. We were told the specials of the day which were described in such detail that we just had to order them. The food was delicious, and worth every penny we spent. Best dinner out I have had in a long time. And the service was great; everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Found this restaurant on Unilocal it was my 1st time as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the chef and host, the chef came to our table and explained in detail the appetizers, wines and specials of the day. The food was great and freshly prepared. The price was moderate but worth every penny… would definitely come back

My friends and I discovered this local owner restaurant on Unilocal since we were in the area. We were warm welcomed by the owner/chef. She promptly told us the specialties of the house. As soon the food was served, I was surprised about the food being fresh made, and rich in flavor. I m glad my friends and I picked this gem. I recommend this place to all!

Excellent AUTHENTIC Greek restaurant! Amazing HOMEMADE food, made to order and fresh. The grape leaves and gyros are delicious and the tzatziki is some of the best I have ever had. If you are in the area and craving some Greek food, this is the place to come. Christina is so nice, friendly, and very energetic. She will take great care of you.

Visited Christina’s Grill this evening and tried their four course early dinner option. I paid $ 19.99 and received an appetizer, Greek salad, chicken Parmesan dinner and dessert. The portions were great. Overall the food was good. The appetizer and Greek salad were very good. The chicken Parmesan was just average, I felt the pasta was a little undercooked. The restaurant itself is cute and the chef(possibly the owner) is very friendly. I would probably come back for the early dinner again but the regular dinner prices are a little too high in my opinion.

Food is excellent!!! Best Greek food in South Florida! The Gyro platter and Spanakopita was delicious. Christina is an excellent chef, hostess, and server. All the food is homemade. Will definitely be back for more.

Made to order, always fresh good food. The place is immaculate. I remember from the previous location that the restaurant was always spotless. I ordered the classic gyro platter which was one of the better quality gyros in town. Christina’s gyro was flavorful without being crazy salty. My other fellow diners ordered the leg of lamb with orzo which was also the special of the day. They were thoroughly delighted. The kalamari was lightly fried and you could tell the oil was fresh. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

I ordered lamb shank with orzo and green beans. It’s one of the best lamb dishes I’ve ever had. The slow-cooked meat melted in my mouth. Will definitely return when I’m back in South Florida.

I first discovered Christina’s back in 2008, thanks to Unilocal. It quickly became my favorite restaurant, and with good reason: Christina is a fantastic chef who makes almost every item on her menu from scratch. She works far too many hours per day, and has only ever taken a handful of days off in the eight years I’ve dined here, but the quality of her food is absolutely evident. I’m a bit of a creature of habit, to the point where Christina knows what I am going to order as soon as she sees me walking through the door. Nine times out of ten, I get the tzatziki appetizer(with an extra pita) for lunch. Other restaurants’ tzatziki cannot hold a candle to hers… indeed, I’ve been pretty consistently disappointed elsewhere. The pita is wonderful and thick, not like the paper thin, pre-packaged kind you usually get. Since I’ve been a loyal customer for so long, she’s convinced me to branch out and try other items. Her hummus is delicious and thick, not overly smooth like the kind you’d find in a grocery store(that’s a good thing, in my book). The dolmades(stuffed grape leaves) are great as well, with a light lemon dressing drizzled on them. The falafel sandwich(at lunch) is MASSIVE, with a generous amount of hummus on top along with lettuce, onion and tomato(although I request the latter two to be kept off). It comes with fries, which I’ve never been able to touch since the sandwich itself is so incredibly filling. For dinner, I’ve had the beiftecki platter, which are her homemade Greek meatballs served with a side salad, pita and rice. I’ve also opted for the falafel platter at dinner(as the sandwich is only available during lunch), which is served with the same items as the meatballs. In general, I’ve noticed her dinner platters are quite generously portioned, and you’ll most likely have some great leftovers for lunch the next day. If you have room, order the baklava for dessert. It’s huge, and easily feeds two people. It also keeps quite well if you want to save half(or even two-thirds) for the next day or two. Last year, the restaurant moved from its old location on Atlantic near Federal to this new place just a few blocks east. I think it’s rather unfortunate that the restaurant that moved into her old location also happens to be Greek, and thus I believe some are confusing it to be Christina’s when it’s not. It’s why I don’t necessarily trust some of the negative reviews on here, since I think it’s entirely possible that people are mistaking the new place for hers. In fact, while I was in Christina’s a couple of weeks ago to grab lunch, a woman was yelling at her on the phone(loud enough that I could hear it) that she didn’t like the soup she had ordered to go, and demanded to speak to the man who had taken her order. Christina was trying to explain to the woman that she had called the wrong business, since there wasn’t a man even working at her location. Only then did the woman stop yelling. If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, or even Italian(as she has quite a few pasta dishes as well), you’d be doing yourself a favor by visiting Christina’s. I’m happy to say that, eight years after first discovering this place, it’s still one of my favorite restaurants in South Florida.

This place is wonderful. It is in a strip mall which is a drawback but once you get inside it is elegant and has a wonderful ambiance. Christina is a delightful woman. She comes to the table to talk with you about the menu then prepares everything herself. We were not real hungry when we arrived but had the gyro platter and meatball appetizer. Both were excellent! The gyro meat was moist and flavorful and the pita bread was soft on the inside but crisp on the outside. The meatballs were light and unlike any we had ever had. This place is a hidden jewel! We will be back!

What a wonderful meal! Starting with the best calamari-tender, crisp, and light batter. The avolegmono soup, Greek salad, and lamb chops all followed suit. Along with a great bottle of Greek wine and loving family –a night to remember. Everything is made by hand and to order, it really shows. Thank you, Christina!

wow this place has gone downhill so quickly since its moved. Won’t honor groupons according to terms and conditions. After they wouldn’t honor the groupon we said we wouldn’t leave a tip and the short chubby lady screamed you should be ashamed and told me how old she was and how much she depended on tips(she was not our server at any point during the night and our actual server was average and never topped up wines or asked how anything was). We have both been to Greece multiple times and find the new menu not as good as it used to be, before the move After her outburst i realized she must be in a bad place financially and grabbed my wallet out and asked if i could give her $ 5-$ 10?. She said loudly keep your money and continued screaming ‘you should be ashamed, we rely on these tips’. I see this place going bankrupt very soon. Do not know what happened to the lovely man that used to work here before it moved recently. I offered cash as a tip and she turned it down. Way too much crazy going on here and someone needs to come in and take control

Just had a delightful romantic dinner at Christina’s Grille. My husband and I shared her mouth watering Jumbo Sea Scallops which she cooks in a orange citrus sauce. FLAVOREXPLOSION!!! As our entrée we had her Lamb Shank which she informed me was marinated and cooked for over 7 hours. And I can tell you that is true, the way the meat fell off the bone it was amazing. And her homemade baklava was the perfect ending to a perfect meal… her serving staff was very observant and curtious we will be back often.

We had planned to stop in for some time & finally found our way in recently. We wanted to love Christina’s but left with a sadly«meh» impression. We love the fresh cooked concept, but just never saw or tasted the«wow» we were hoping for. Dolamades, ok, gyro, ok, falafel ok, green beans in marinara very much overcooked. The service, oddly scrambled & kind of forgetful, but pleasant. We left thinking it was too bad that every aspect of this visit could have been improved. Bottom line, we know of other Greek restaurants we really enjoy, have better service & frankly, charge about 20% less for food that is more exciting to enjoy. We enjoyed meeting the chef & really appreciate her perspective, drive & personal commitment to the restaurant. We just didn’t feel there was anything that set this apart from the other Greek places in the area, in fact, our experience this time enforced our opinion that our favorite Greek restaurant really is the best & will remain our«go to Greek» We wish you continued success

Though with its somewhat lackluster décor or feeling of leisurely ambiance you might think that Christina’s would be the type of Greek restaurant that you’d merely stop into to grab a bite to eat or have a quick dinner, but you’d be wrong. It’s actually the type of place where you want to spend time because when it comes to what is outstanding as well as authentic Greek food, Christina’s is the real thing. So, if you go here, if you enjoy Greek food, be sure to set aside the time savor and understand it. As it says on the top of its menu: «Please be patient, we cook to order.» The proprietor, who also has the Gyro Joint on Cypress Road that holds an enviable Unilocal four stars double plus rating not only makes everything to order but everything from the ground on up using the best and freshest of ingredients. This was evident to me when I had what I believe to have been a lightly sautéed calamari in marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was indeed some of the best ever, not only with a fresh taste but an elusive sweetness to it. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but I’ve always noted the marinara sauces I’ve had in Greece to be superior, especially with seafood… think«maritime» sauce, to those I’ve had in Italy. So, maybe though the Italians first created it, the Greeks perfected it. Kind of a reverse take off on that age old joke that though the Greeks may have invented sex, it was the Italians who first perfected it by introducing it to women. LOL! I also had an order of Christina’s stuffed grape leaves(dolmades), and likewise found them to be everything the equal of what I’ve had in Greece. The leaves had that certain raw crunchiness to them and the stuffing fresh and flavorful. Overall Christina’s offers a real treat in authentically fresh Greek cuisine.

What a great experience ! It was a nice Greek restaurant with a really nice atmosphere. Food was fantastic. A piece of spinach pie and hummus were so good I can’t wait to go back. Lots of feta on the salad. Also, the best tzatziki sauce. We will go back next week. Could never get into the old location and I now know why!

Truly enjoyable! The flaming cheese appetizer was delish. We had the gyro platters and it was a large portion. Owner/chef was charming and made every table feel welcome as if we were at her home kitchen. Beautifully decorated as well. Terrific service too! Must visit!

Christina just opened a new venue at 2692 E Atlantic on June 16, 2015 specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. Like her highly successful, Gyro Joint, the new Christina’s now grills her gyros on a spit which produces a much better dining experience as opposed to pan cooking. I have eaten here twice in the last week and the gyro pita and fries can’t be beat. The new place even has malt vinegar for the fries!!! I strongly recommend you test this new experience out. You won’t be disappointed!

Let me say if I could give 10 stars I would… We went to Christina’s with a large party of 15 for my husbands birthday. I cannot say enough about the food, it was amazing… I had the octopus, and lamb each of which are the best I have ever had… We will be back as we have not stopped talking about the amazing food…
