Bella Roma

My self and my coworkers order Bella Roma at least six times a week. And while the food is very delicious, the service that I receive is far under par. There have been many times, including today, where I get an estimate on my delivery time, and I’m left waiting nearly that time and a half more. For example, today, I ordered around 3:15, and did not receive my order until 4:52, when I was quoted 45 minutes. This is the third time this has happened to me, and when I called to ask where my delivery was, I was rudely answered with «It should be there in a minute» before being hung up on. And the last time I called to check after my co-​worker, who ordered a half hour after, got her food, I asked if they could call the driver, and the company failed to properly put me on hold as I heard them just talk to others before coming back to the phone and saying it should be there in a minute. The worst is when this happens, and my food arrives cold. As delicious as it is, it’s getting harder and harder to justify why I am spending money with this business. Please start resolving this issue.

Very nice restaurant with excellent service. Dinner comes complete with soup or salad, pasta and ice cream for dessert. And a beverage. And delicious garlic rolls. Be sure to order the tomato basil soup. And bring your own wine or beer. The only negative was that the veal francese was heavy on the butter. Otherwise it is a great price for three course Italian dinner.

This review is well overdue! Whenever we are at work and we want something good-​we look at each other and say: Bella Roma!!!
The reason is simple, the food is always good and the people are always kind. The soup is so hearty, but the best part is the sweet tasting marinara sauce.
You won’t be sorry when you give Bella Roma a try!

Thanks to my fellow Unilocalers a business colleague and I found our way to Bella Roma, and were we ever glad! When we arrived we were worried that this tiny little place (three tables for dine in) was closed, or maybe a delivery-​only pizza joint. But then we saw a few tables through the window, and went on in. All I can say is the food was FABULOUS. I had a side salad that was one of the freshest salads I have ever had followed by Chicken Siciliano which tasted like it came from Heaven above. The side of pasta with marinara was cooked to a perfect al dente. My friend opted for a medium Stromboli. He said it was the best he had ever had. The portions were enormous-​a single entrée could easily feed two people. And if you get the Stromboli I recommend a small if you are planning to eat it by yourself. The medium was enough for 2 – 3 people. The drink selection is limited, but with food like this, who cares! If I am ever in Ft. Lauderdale again I will definitely be back!

Please beware — we have one credit card which we rarely use, and it so happened that we used it to pay for our pizza here. We gave our credit card info to Bella Roma over the phone, and then the next day a TON of fraudulent charges showed up! Since we never used the card anywhere else — I know for a fact it was linked to Bella Roma… Please be careful!

Just ordered a chicken bruchetta sub. The menu online clearly says theres everything but cheese on it. The menu in the store says the same thing if i’m not mistaken. It’s specifically why i ordered the sub. Bc it had no melted cheese on it.
Now i’m back at work, with my sandwich, and melted cheese all over the place and i’ve been busy picking off all this cheese thats melted into every crevice!
Not everyone eats cheese Bella Roma! Stop assuming we all do!

Delivery: Wish i could review the taste, but I have been waiting for my food that was to be here «within the hour, but we aren’t busy so it should be sooner» 1hour and 40 minutes later… i visit often… will never order here again. And the only make good was to say «if your food is cold, we will send more out.» REALLY!!!

Ordered the white pizza and chicken parm, both were delicious! Delivery arrived exactly when they said it would, and everything was still very hot. Would definitely eat here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a yummy Italian place!

Delivery-​Greek salad and soup. They said 40 mins, had it in 20 and brought up to my hotel room. They even provided garlic knots and OMG, AMAZING. So fresh, soft and the garlic was just right. I can’t wait to try the pizza. Whatever you do have the garlic knots.

The food is decent, but definitely over priced. There really isn’t anything amazing about this place to be honest.

Ordered for pick up. I ordered a medium pizza with extra cheese and extra sauce. I got there and the box was huge. Turned out it was their special and they had automatically upgraded it. That’s the kind of customer service I appreciate.
Does it have a gourmet restaurant feel with Art Deco interiors? No. But it’s a pizza place. They have clearly put their time, money, and energy in making fresh and delicious pizza.

The cheesesteak is amazing! Prompt delivery also! Yummy. Pizza good and meatball sub was great!

Tried a pizza from here and just to oily! Guess I expect too much from Florida for a good pizza.

Pizzas arrives there in a hurry but it sucks
$ 25 for medium pizza, no taste. The person who brought it was some huge guy all sweaty with flour on his self, very nice though but you know he’s the one who made the pizza, I think I’m going to throw up just from writing this review. If you’re brave enough to order from here, make sure you get the total before you have them deliver it because their prices are unreasonable

Absolutely the best pizza around! And their pasta dishes are awesome. Huge portions. Their cheese garlic rolls are a must. Have always been happy with the service.

Wow what fantastic pizza at a great price 2 large slices of pepperoni and a can of coke for just $ 6.89.
Now I know why the fancy schamzie pizza joints turn me off.
Strongly recommend for a real treat. Great service but needs more seating.

This review is for a delivery order. My first time ordering from Bella Roma, and I have to say I am surprised by the quality ingredients used in my pizza. We ordered a large ½ Spinach Ricotta and ½ Bella Tomato, Fettuccine Alfredo, tomato basil soup and NY Cheesecake. First let’s start with the pizza, the toppings were fresh and very generous, big chunks of spinach, ricotta, fresh basil, garlic and tomato, it could have used a bit more cheese for my liking but the toppings were excellent, the crust was on the thin side, I personally like mine a bit more bready but it was very good, and the tomato sauce was perfect and not sweet like a lot of other places tend to serve, it tasted fresh and was perfectly seasoned.
The Fettuccine Alfredo was also very tasty, creamy and not overly oily, the soup and cheesecake were also excellent, and the food came served with 3 delicious garlic rolls. We ordered delivery and were told 45 mins-​1 hr but it arrived in less than 40 mins. The lady I placed the order with was very friendly. I would say 3.5, but combined with everything plus the service I will round up to 4 stars.

The best place around town to eat. The serve the best pasta fagioli. The pizza is good as well.

Bella Roma is more of take/​delivery hole in the wall type of place than it is anything else. The dining atmosphere and ambiance would rate into the negative stars considering the fact that you’re most likely going to be putting up with arguments (the one I witness darn near became violent) and foul language between in house and delivery staff. It has rather small somewhat cramped seating, not even a plastic cup for your soda with his merely served in an unopened can with, of course, no ice.
The redeeming points of the place however is that the menu offerings are extensive with all sorts of pizzas, francaise offerings, salads, other dishes and the fact that the portions are huge. Their medium size stromboli which I ordered turned out to be large enough to feed two football linebackers. Then, though this may be somewhat technical, argumentative and of little bearing, what they are serving as a stromboli would appear to me to in fact be calzone; the difference being that while stromboli is served with sauce on the inside of the folded crust, a calzone has the sauce on the side or on top which is the manner in which it is served here. .
Since being a restaurant seems more of an afterthought to that of being take/​delivery, it’s really hard to rate it as a restaurant but since it technically is one offering sit down meals at a more than reasonable price for what you get I’d go Four Stars but for a good dining experience or atmosphere, hardly even qualifying for One Star; hence I’ll go Two Stars on it even though that puts me at odds with other reviewers.
Above all, this is not the place you’d take anyone you’d want to be favorably impressed with your dining choices even though the food is pretty good.

About two weeks ago, the rain was so bad that none of us in my office wanted to venture outside for lunch. We remembered that Bella Roma had recently dropped off a menu, so we decided to stay nice and dry by ordering lunch for delivery.
We each ordered one of their lunch specials: a slice of pizza with a side salad for $ 4.50. My co-​worker also ordered a side of grilled chicken for $ 2.50. If your delivery order is over $ 10, the delivery is free. Delivery wasn’t fast — it was about an hour — but the food was really good. The pizza was delicious, and I’m sure it’s even better when it’s hot out of the oven versus being delivered. The grilled chicken came in a large round silver container (you get a LOT of chicken breast strips), was marinated and had a great flavor.
We liked our food so much from this last visit that my co-​workers and I decided to order again today. My favorite pizza in the area is still Vito’s, but this is a very solid second-​place option.
