Grande Pizza Subs & Wings

We’ve been here a couple times, but today was the first time we had it delivered. It took over an hour and a half for the order to be delivered. The pizza was cold. The soup container was cracked and leaking. And I asked for mushrooms on only half of the pizza and there were mushrooms on the whole thing. Last time we picked up our order and when we got home we realized they forgot the gyro we ordered. I like their pizza but won’t waste my money again.

Enjoyed this pizza as we had the meat combo 16″ and substitutes a few ingredients. Flavor and taste was above average. Only thing to say was crust could be crispier. Thanks Grande for the good service and pizza

I like this place … It’s 2 mins from the house and they are open quite late. Every time I put in order it’s usually within 15 minutes ready to pick up that’s pretty good on timing value. The pizza– I would compare to New York style thin sliced giant triangles! If that makes any sense. As far as taste value goes very good right amount of sauce cheese and toppings in which I always get banana peppers which taste fresh. However for a large pizza it was 20 bucks a little more than I would want to spend on just the pizza. All in all a really good place.

Visiting Fort Lauderdale and came across this place since they deliver to my hotel. Amazing!!! The food is soooo good and the delivery is super fast! Subs, fries, pizza. Good good great! Will definitely order again before heading home

I work nearby in the area, decided to try them out. I ordered a cheesesteak with the works. It was quite deicious! The bread it came on was nice and fresh and toasted. A nice mixture of peppers (red AND green) and mushrooms and the right amount of white american cheese. I was going to ask for steak sauce but I didn’t need to because it was seasoned just right. I’ve had a lot of mediocre cheesesteaks and also alot of excellent cheese steaks, and I would put their cheesesteak in the latter category. I didn’t get a chance to try their pizza yet, but it looks really good, like authentic Brooklyn style pizza should, with a nice crispy thin crust. Furthermore, the staff I encountered were friendly. the place has a nice family owned, laid back vibe to it. When I go back, I want to try their chicken parm sub. Also: they make whole wheat dough (BONUS). I think I found my spot whenever I get the craving for pizza or a good hot sub.

The name is deceiving. This gem is so much more than the name itself. Several times I have walked past and the aroma coming out of this restaurant was amazing. The day we visited they were under construction. It looks like hopefully they are expanding. The dining area is small for now with a few tables.
I believe the owners might be from NY. The menu consist of pizza. Subs, salads, soups, pasta and chicken and other dinner entrée’s. Very good size menu with many options. Our waitress was fantastic from beginning to end. Obviously she had many years experience and it showed. They offer some wine and beer so I ordered a Peroni.
I decided to order the eggplant parmigiana after the waitress told me after I asked that it is very light. It came with a side of pasta and a salad. And let’s not forget the garlic rolls. They were delicious with perfect amounts of oil and plenty garlic. Trust me you may not want to kiss anyone after a few of these. Lol
My salad came out and it was good and hubby loved the soup he ordered. Then my eggplant came out and it looked great. The eggplant was very tasty and not heavily breaded. The marinara sauce over the pasta was a bit on the sweet side but it was still tasty. Then the table next to us ordered a pizza and wow did it ever look awesome. Must try their pizza along with many other dishes that looked interesting.
The prices are very reasonable. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Great casual restaurant with great prices and excellent service!

Weak. Ordered because the flyer they delivered looked good. It took almost an hour and a half. Everything was cold except the salad. Driver had to go back to his car to get change. No apology for time. The people answering the phone were nice and courteous. I will never order from here again and I don’t suggest anyone else order from there either. Sorry to blast them, but first impressions last forever.

Way over priced for the quality.
The pizza is average at best, the subs are small with hardly any meat on them and the baked pasta dishes are a joke. They’re pretty much nothing more then noddles with a drop of sauce and melted cheese.
People that rated them good either work for them or normally eat dinner at 7 eleven.
I gave them 3 chances, their menu went in the trash.

I live down the road from this place. The pizza is really the only thing I have ordered here. It is consistently good. I usually get their lunch deal which is around $ 5 for two HUGE slices and a can of soda. I am usually unable to finish both slices. New york style pizza here. The dinning area is a little on the small side and has always been empty whenever I stop in. But has appeared on the clean. The last time I ordered I had to wait a little on the long side because they were preparing a big order but the girl offered me something to drink while I waited which I thought was nice.

I would not recommend ordering delivery from Grande. And it’s a shame, because I prefer their pizza to the other local delivery options. For a long time, I didn’t have any problems, but recently they’ve become terribly consistent with slow delivery. A couple months ago, I waited 5 minutes short of 2 hours and ended up with a cold pizza. At the time, I bought the delivery girl’s excuse about the restaurant being shorthanded and accepted a gracious offer of a free pizza the next time I order. That next pizza came on time, but the one after that took an hour and a half. Another excuse about being shorthanded and another cold pizza was enough to make me toss out my Grande menu and accept my other less-​favorable options.
About 2 months have passed and this week, I figured — what the hell — I’ll give them one more shot. An hour and thirty five minutes later, my final cold Grande pizza arrived, delivered by a very nice man who let me know that not only were they shorthanded, but that I live on the far end of their delivery area and he had to deliver the closer patrons first. At this point, it’s not even worth heating up the oven when I order any more.

Basically a pizza delivery joint with a few tables in the back, certainly not fancy but a good basic neighborhood place. Friendly service, huge portions great for sharing, and the best garlic rolls in town. Seriously, the best garlic rolls in town!

Last time I came to Grande Pizza Subs and Wings was because I found a bug in the salad I brought for lunch. Today, my salad had a hair in it, and yes it was probably mine, but who am I kidding, my hair is not clean and besides, it’s just nasty. So pizza it is.
I added an extra star from my last review. well actually I had previously knocked off a star because the 7 – 11 next door didn’t have any mountain dew slurpees, but anyway– 4 stars for their slice of plain cheese pizza. It was gooood, better than I remember from my first visit. Perhaps because I haven’t had pizza in a long time (summer beach bod diet, fml), but biting into this slice of cheesy ooey gooey goodness was just scrumptious, not to mention much more appetizing than salad garnished with my hair.

They delivered to our hotel service was quick and the food was really good. Second day we did pick up instead of delivery because it was during lunch time and we were hungry and not wanting to wait. Between the two meals we tried the margherita pizza, chicken parm sub, chicken gyro, fries, and the baked ziti with meatballs. Everything was great and my belly was happy!

2 Star’s for service, 3 for the pizza.
Went in Saturday night and the manager who took my order was more concerned with texting and planning his date with the waitress, the waitress was more concerned with her texting.
Weird lay out as you have to walk around 8 gun ball machines (really? who has those anymore? I thought I was in a Publix)
Seeing this I quickly changed my order to go.
The pizza chef was the only person who actually talked to me! He read back my order as he handed me my pizza and WOW WOW did he make a good pizza.
So the Pizza was good, the service, STINKS! The owners need to get a report of how the staff interacts with customers.

Pizza slices I have had here: Sicilian, florentine — purchased about half a dozen times. The pizza has always been not bad. The Sicilian slice could honestly use some more cheese.
The spaghetti is lousy. You get more pasta than one person should ever eat in a one sitting, but the pasta itself is bland, the tomato sauce is too acidic, and the plate itself has a half a pint of water gushing around. Not recommended.
The quality of the pizza and the decent service prevented this review from being 1 star.

So So Food, Shitty Service. Pizza took almost 1 ½ to get to my home, 5 mins away. Pizza was cold and had to be re-​heated. Sad service, ruined the experience.

I have eaten in here once and ordered delivery about 5 times. Once the delivery was slow (60 minutes) but other times it has been less than 35 minutes.

I ordered again on ⁶⁄₂₁ and once again, the delivery took 75 minutes. I do love the food but I think the delivery could be a bit quicker…
I really like the pizza, calzones, salads and chicken gyro.

I order here a lot. Good Turkey Subs and above-​averag Pizza. I often order for pick-​up, delivery or eat in.
They have a cozy little dining area that is ideal for a quick bite at launch time.

The Pizza here is very good for this area. Thin-​Sliced, right amount of cheese and sauce, it’s enough to please the senses.
The cream of the crop here are their Garlic Rolls.
So much that I drove from Hialeah to Fort Lauderdale to consume them one random evening (30 miles each way).

Good pizza, but I really don’t need a server to get me drinks when the coke machine is in the dining room.
