All Stars Sports Bar and Grill

If I had read the previous reviews I would’ve never stopped in. Planned on eating at the Chinese restaurant next door till we saw that All Stars had re-​opened. As we opened the doors we were immediately greeted by the bartender who said «Sit anywhere». We grabbed a couple of perches at the bar and were made aware of their «All Day Happy Hour» $ 2.00 beers and half off top-​shelf liquor. I went with the Buffalo Chicken sandwich with a side of fries. I was told the chicken was hand battered and in showed up covered in spinach leaves. The fries were typical bar fries, so I don’t hold that against them… all in all the sandwich was tasty.
Plenty of pool tables in the back and I’ll be back for lunch when I’m in town.

Well I really wanted to give a better review. I don’t aim to see the negative in a place and sell it short right off the bat.
We just moved out offices to Sample and Powerline (AKA the hood), and had hoped to try the places around and maybe discover some hidden gems. We really haven’t yet, especially here.
This is a combination of a couple visits. One stopping in for a quick drink, and the other taking food to go.
When we stopped in a couple months ago it was pretty good. The place had a «just opened» vibe with everything being fairly new. The drinks came fast and the tacos were decent.
Last week I had been talking up the place saying the kitchen must be decent especially as the menu was seafood diverse besides the usual bar food.
When we called, no answer. No answer for an hour! Went there to order in person and we were chastised that we called the wrong number (we didn’t)
The food, under or over cooked. The mahi I ordered was way over grilled. Couple bites and threw it away.
Called to let someone in the know hear about the situation, no answer, again. Wish I could say something more positive at the end here but truly there was nothing else positive from our lunch.

I wish I read the reviews first. The menu says best tacos in town, they are the worst tacos I’ve ever had. They’re Hamburger patties chopped up with onions and tomato sprinkled. I should’ve known better because there were less than 10 people in there… shame on me

The worst of the worst.
Horrible service (actually, really no service at all), food that doesn’t come (or if it does it’s wrong and /​or horrible), misrepresentation of the offerings (1 beer or wine with cover — ummm, nope, it’s a (non-​rum) rum punch), snarly, uninterested wait staff and bartenders.
If there’s a worst place in south Florida, no wait, the US, it would be hard to imagine.

Worst restaurant bar that I have ever been in with the rudest most hateful manager that I have ever met. Good low grade food, cold food, wilted vegetables, understaffed, orders came out wrong 3 times.
Stay away from this place if you are hungry!!!

The worst place you can imagine. The food is disgusting. The drinks are all water and I never received the vodka don’t ever come here

Good food, good drinks, good times… so much better than what it used to be… new owner has standards and are keeping to them… great relaxing bar close to home that has everything one would need to just take a break or come after a long day at the job… love the long hours so whenever I wanna come out I can jusy come and enjoy… great place to meet up with friends… pool tables are first come first serve but the place is great… will be back again and again

If I could give this place a no star rating I would. Been here 4 times before and the bartenders said it was 50% off your tab for military vets or active duty even during happy hour, which I got every time. I go there on the 5^th during happy hour and notice all the old bar tenders are gone because of the manager and ask about the military disscount thinking there wont be a problem. The manager comes out and acts like im crazy for asking about a military disscount and states that he has never heard about any such thing, then asked me where I got that information from. I told him Casey told me about it and I have used it several times. He they said that he didnt know who I was talking about and they have never had a military disscount, only cops and firemen in uniform. Really shaddy manager that treats his customers and bartenders like crap. I will be writing to the better bussiness bureau for sure.

Ducked in for a quick business meeting and a coldy with Marnie the biz partner and it was a fine time, here’s why:
* New locale
* Hottie servers and bartenders.
I think the place used to be a cigar joint, and further, I think they’ve only been here 4 weeks or so.
Now it is All Stars which moved about a block West in the same plaza and now no longer faces Powerline. Now it faces South, towards Sample.
I need to scout it on a Friday night and try the food.
Our bartender was attractive but a lil vapid. Same for the waitress. These are probably good things. Not sure yet.
Higher sat seating around the periphery, bar in the center, pool tables in the back, back there.
We didn’t eat. But I saw a few people eat. I heard a regular enter and chat the bartender up, and he remarked that this place was an upgrade.
The layout of this place is cool. I hope it works out.

Horrible service by first round bartenders, second round with SHAY (Sp?) Was much better. New location and they need to get their shit together. All I need is the basics and I’m happy! Disappointed. #boo

I work directly across the street and was excited to see this place open up. Boy was I wrong. The first time there I had the chicken wings. The chef and waitress could not understand I wanted bbq and hot mixed. So they just gave me their all star sauce. Surprise sauce!
Second time going there, the next day. I order the grilled chicken platter and a chicken sandwich came out. The waitress confirmed this with me three times, and still, wrong order. I waited an additional 20 minutes to get my correct order. It was actually pretty good (reason I’ll allow it to have one star).
Fast forward to today. I went in with three of my co workers, we all ordered the taco special for cinco de mayo and some drinks. 45 minutes later, after we hunt our waitress down to ask her for our drinks, she says our order was not put in. She blamed the bartender and said she told her she put our order in. We left and got fast food because we would have been late getting back to work.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. c

Beer specials solid for happy hour. It goes to eight. Bought fish and chips and that wasn’t very good. The fish is cheap but so was the dish so I guess I should a known. I’d rather pay more for cod though. The fry that was used was stellar thank god or it would a been a disaster. Food 1.5 star, happy hour beer deals ($ 2) Stella pint 5 star. They are in a new place and just opened up. They are still working out some issues but the place is much better than before. No smoking and classy.

I believe the drinks are jacked up and the owner is rude and the cook can’t read (day)and they need to be more organized. I would say make sure if you come in for lunch you have at least an hour because it will come out piece by piece. At night the girls look nice but they don’t know how to poor drinks that’s why they got the Burke system which they even pour wine with is ! an insult to all people that are wine drinker. I feel sorry for the people of Pompano Beach because I know there’s not that many bars please watch out for drink prices and your tab

Ugh ugh ugh. Awful awful awful. Food is good; service was literally the worst I have ever had in my life. Our waitress wouldn’t interact with us, did not look us in the eye and had no clue about the menu. We think she is either related to or dates one of the owners No other reason she would have been there and we saw them interacting extensively. We also listened as the other (read better) waitresses apologized to ALL the other tables around us for her shoddy service and her omissions.
This was our second visit there this week and she happend to be our bartender the first time. My friend ordered xxx and soda and she goes, «what kind if soda?» I say, «um. CLUB.» Then we decided to have 2 glasses of wine. She took my glass to refill and proceeded to give it to my friend. I rescued my friend, grabbed my drink and let the «bartender» give my friend the fresh glass.
We gave them a second chance for lunch today. 50 minutes from order to service with no drink refills. No checking how we were doing and no asking if we needed anything. When one person of four orders something other than water (lemonade) shouldn’t you remember which person gets the odd out drink? Asking who gets the lemonade when you took the order about a minute before is unacceptable.
Our office is 4 blocks away with 175 workers who were excited about the reopening. We will spread the word of don’t go. With Legends opening soon, they need to worry.

Ordered lunch for the first time since it reopened in the new location. Not going to lie, I am highly disappointed. I really enjoyed the previous menu much more. I ordered 3 grilled chicken sandwiches myself and some co-​workers. We didn’t get what was printed in the description and the piece of chicken on the bun was of a ridiculous small portion and so dry it was hard. It was really disappointing after such a long anticipation for the restaurant to reopen.
