I have to admit I see a lot of bad reviews here but I went in and tried there Cesar the great and it was the best Chicken salad I tried for a long time. The chicken was season perfect and chopped up the way I like it. The server Armando was friendly and went above and beyond good customer service as well the cook Oscar I give him props for good food. Keep up the good work I will be coming here more often now.

Best Grilled Salmon burger I’ve ever had! I ordered the blackened grilled salmon and it came perfectly grilled with plenty of flavor; still juicy but not too juicy. It also came with spinach, tomato and a yummy sauce. I really enjoyed the steak fries and the service was friendly and responsive. I definitely will go back with some friends this time and try one of their delicious looking burgers.

Friendly service. My hamburger bun was cold, only got like 10 French fries, my brother upgraded to onion rings for $ 1.00 more but only got 4 onion rings. The server asked how it was, AFTER our meal, I told him«alright» and his response was«next time it’ll be better». Just ok, but I expected a lot more from a place called«the burger house». I’d rather have gone to In n Out or Red Robin for $ 35.

***constructive criticism alert*** The food sucks. Wanted to like it and gave it a few tries but the food was consistently bad. The burgers are overly greasy, the bun breaks apart, and seems like they rush to make the burger. Nothing but juice on my plate from all the crap they smother on the burger. This place is good for beer and I recommend enjoying one in their back patio during a summer evening. Service is good too. I recommend this place for the beer selection and their nicely shaded patio.

Came here after the longest day waiting in line to buy makeup… lol but that’s a whole another review… of course I found this place by Unilocaling… Service– service was awesome our waitress was very friendly and treated us like family… FOOD– I got a turkey burger… it was so DELICIOUS! I mean it didn’t even taste like a turkey burger I had to check it twice lol… you get a choice of tator tots, sweet potato and regular I got the tator tots and they were nice and crispy(perfection) my niece got there burger with egg I forget what it’s called but she loved it and she got hers with sweet potato fries… her fries were also nice and crispy… it’s good to know that they make them like this without actually have to say can I have them made well done… and my mom got a regular ol hamburger… I know it was good because she finished it… mind you my mom never finishes her food because she says she can’t eat alot lol… but she sure finished this one… so that spoke volumes… Price wise I think is very affordable for all 3 of us I paid around $ 35…(no alcohol purchased) Definitely returning to see what other items are good…

Went for my birthday during lunch, great customer service. I haven’t been there before and the waiter suggested 3 burgers. In the end I chose one of the 3 it was mouth watering good. I wanted to try the crème brûlée cheesecake, but I was so full I didn’t get to order it. I will definitely go back to try that cheesecake.

Delicious burgers, wide selection of beer. Good ambience. Serving staff was down to one(«they had been slow and other staff was sent home» so our server said when I asked if he was flying solo) but our server did a great job, despite. Nice patio in the back. Ladies-take someone to watch the door for you if you use the restroom. You have to lift a heavy door to be able to lock it.

Beware under new ownership Service is 2 stars. Nothing was cleared off our table so we had like 6 cups and a bunch of trash on our tiny crowded table, burgers were not juicy or tasty, overpriced, water was offered but never broughr, napkins I had to grab off a nearby table, Food was 3 stars. Wasn’t good and wasn’t bad. Dr Pepper is like flavored water

To sum this place up in one sentence: everything here looks good, but does not taste like how it looks. I was really excited to discover what is considered to be a «gourmet» burger place nearby my house, but my experience here was a huge let down. I came here with some friends after work for happy hour and ordered three appetizers and three burgers. Happy hour includes certain number of tap beers which are basically two for the price of one and half off a list of maybe 5 appetizers. We ended up ordering: –Smothered Fries = extremely salty mushroom gravy covered soggy fries with overly salted over easy eggs –Sriracha Teriyaki Wings = which they got wrong and brought out Buffalo Parmesan, but we ate them anyways because we were starving –Stinking Rose Fries = which were only stinking at the bottom since the oil and garlic was there, the rest of the fries were just slightly soggy and stale –Santa Fe Burger = dry in certain bites and overly greasy in others –Cali Burger = also dry, but the bites with the house spread and cilantro made it bearable –The Ortega Burger with a vegetarian patty for my vegetarian friend = extremely thick and dry piece of patty Overall, the food here is below average, I mean way below. Our server tried to be cool and didn’t write down our orders and kept forgetting our items. The only redeeming quality was the food runner with the dimples who made sure our waters were always full and utensils were always replaced. They should just make the food runner a server since he did a much better job. Never coming back here.

Awesome little burger joint. Good was amazing! When you check in you get a free basket of chips and they were outstanding! The only complaint I have is that after we initially got our drinks, we never got offered a refill until we completely devoured our food. But we would definitely return and try the rest of the menu!

I came here for a quick bite to eat and ordered the bacon burger, lettuce wrapped and at first when my burger came it still had a bun. I told the server and he was quick to make things right, but what I got when my burger came again was a burger covered in salad lettuce. Not the biggest of deals so I ate it and to their credit, the meat and bacon were very good. Very juicy and well cooked. All in all a good place but I would have appreciated being told they did not have ingredients to make my burger the way I was asking. The servers need some work on their order taking

Great menu and very friendly and attentive service, we had a nice dinner here, absolutely loved the big easy with the egg on it, the bun was so good, Swiss and fries with a side of tater tots, I could not stop picking at my sons meal, hands down the best thing we ordered. My husband had the Santa Fe with garlic fries which were also excellent, very heavy on the garlic, but I really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, I enjoyed my meal the least, onion rings and veggie burger both a bit cold and soggy, I would stop those next time. Free order of chips with check in was a nice treat, also good. Simple décor with indoor as well as a few tables outdoors. Food came out quickly and was great quality and all made to order. Prices and portions are fair, worth a stop while in the area!

Stopped in here for a free birthday burger with the parents and I think we may have found our new burger spot in the area. This place is a straight to the point, solid burger joint that’s not interested in putting micro greens in your burger cause it looks pretty or only use niman ranch beef… blah blah blah. The burgers are cooked to your preference and the burgers we had were all to our liking. Was a big fan of their western style burger that had onion rings, bacon, and some kind of bbq marmalade that added some sweetness and texture that really brought the burger together. I was also a big fan of the fries here which are thick cut and quite meaty. Not for everyone, but you can always switch your side out for a salad or something. Also don’t forget to check in on Unilocal as they are offering one order of potato chips for free on any check in! Lastly, they have a good selection of beers on what seems to be a rotating menu of beer from local and national breweries. I don’t always go to downtown pomona for food but when I do, this spot will be high on the list

The stars are based on the quality of the food, I’m sorry to say that the burgers are not that great. They’re a good size but the overall taste was bland and the grease just overpowered the burger. The fries are yummy.(Maybe the food wasn’t as great because we went late?) They have a big selection of beer, and they also have a wide variety of appetizers and other foods. THESERVICE: was exceptional! The hostess and waitress were so friendly and welcoming, they were very attentive. They seemed like they enjoyed enjoyed interacting with customers. Their smiles and service were genuine and I really appreciated that!

So I came here for lunch on my first day of jury duty at the Pomona Court House. I really didn’t want to opt for Flame Broiler so for any of you other foodies in the area, The Burger House is a restaurant that had some pretty good reviews nearby. It’s about a 5 minute drive from the court house. Service was quick and friendly, you can definitely tell it gets busy for lunch here with the students in the area from Western University nearby. I was luckily seated immediately and ordered the chicken burger with fries. If you check in, you’re supposed to get a free milkshake but unfortunately I was informed their milkshake machine was broken that day. I’m docking points off this place for the food itself. Maybe it’s because I live in OC and there’s far too many amazing burger joints competing over there but although this place has a good selection of alcohol, the food itself is just average for me.

This may be one of the finer burger houses this side of LA, and definitely worth hitting up if you’re in the area for one of the Artwalks or other slew of events that go on in this bustling part of P-Town. The space is modest, but always hopping, with sports aplenty being shown on every wall. The booze menu is amazing, and being a sweets lover myself, I have to say their list of ciders is up there with the best. Their Summer Blueberry Cider and Pineapple Cider are every sweet tooth’s dream come true. If you’re a stout lover, like my crazy friend, you will love their Voodoo Stout; with it’s robustness and hefty alcohol content, it may sneak up on you, depending on how high your tolerance is. They also have plenty of wine for the connoisseurs who enjoy the finer things in life, and craft beers for those who… well, don’t. And don’t even get me started on everything they have on tap. Regardless of what you decide to drink– and trust me, you have a wall’s worth of drinks to choose from– the food is probably the biggest reason to come. The burgers, in particular, pack a lil’ something extra to make your visit memorable. If you want my advice, try the Cremini Mushroom Burger, which brings together the juiciness of high-quality beef, the savoriness of sauteed mushrooms & caramelized onions, and… wait for it… the sweetness of Goji. Berry. Jam. It is one delicious burger. Throw in some pretzel sticks with a side of their melty cheese sauce, or onion rings, and let’s not forget the free milkshake with your Unilocal check-in for dessert, and you have yourself the perfect nighttime binge meal. But, yeah, the booze is amazing.
