Frankie’s the man. Place has great drinks, great people, good music and most important, great bar tenders. Would recommend this place to anybody. They have some low key bad ass bands that play here too.

This place is my favorite drinking hole in downtown pomona! This place beats the rest and in the dust. Franky is the best beertender around and has skate hops for daysss. So stop on by and have yourself a chill ass time, with good vibe, sexy men and woman, good beer, and paintings.

I particularly come to this place about 2 times a month to watch local bands play. They have a really great beer selection.
This past Friday I walked in a little rushed because I was late to see a band and ordered a Newcastle. When I went back to order a second round the barman Chris casually started a convo about brown ales and recommended me to get the Humboldt Brown. An ale brewed with hemp. It was the one of the smoothest brown ales I’ve ran into. He was super friendly and awesome for recommending this. Pretty much ordered that all night! Thanks Chris!

Went on a Sunday at 8pm. The hours state 5pm to 11pm but when we got there the place was closed. Pretty disappointed

Who knew that the Saturday that Refresh isn’t here that it’s way better!!! Man! Pandora Saturday was awesome.

Grrrreat beer, great ambiance, great music. Literally one of my favorite hang out spot always from the DTLA scene. Very friendly, artsy, I love this place. Try a Pliny you will not regret it. Hops off to you guys.

Great beer selection. Bartenders are very friendly, efficient and patient. There was a huge crowd, but I got my drinks very quick. I had no idea what I wanted but she gave me great suggestion!
But it was super loud at the back. My friends had to scream to each other lol I guess I’m just too old for this type of place now…

Good general affordable beer choices but «better-​end» beer selection is much desired.
Pretty decent crowd and music turn out during weekends (Thur — Sat) but very quiet other days.
You will walk in with a bit of doubt. but you will walk out with a big smile on your face!

Second and fourth Saturday of the month is artwalk and this place gets blitz. They need to fix the bathroom situation. It gets gross and crowded quick. Good beer selections.

The best place ever! I love going in on Tuesday and watching the open mic night perform all of its amazing talent! The service is amazing, the people are nice, and the stouts are perfection. I would recommend this bar as the first stop during your time in Downtown Pomona!!!

This has always been my favorite go-​to bar when in Downtown. As a Pomonian veteran, it’s a rarity to find a place that is just laid back and cool. This place was just that. It wasn’t loud and their music selection is always on point. If people weren’t so judgmental in today’s society, I’d probably «shake it» in the empty dance floor by my lonesome self.
They always have good beer selections and great movies especially when they have Comedy Central on. you can just sit there, enjoy your fairly priced beer and watch Comedy Central. The bartenders are also very friendly, especially Frank… They have a knack for remembering faces! And always starts a conversation with you whether it’s a slow night or a somewhat busy night. Their art work is always a good conversation starter.
They also have themes for nights throughout the week, I always recommend checking out their upcoming events on Instagram (DBA256). This place is definitely 5 stars because it’s reserved, cheap beers, great staff, and great music selection… a rare commodity these days in bars, it seems.

Came here very early on a Saturday evening-​5pm-​ish. The place is inconspicuous on the outside; hipster on the inside. I’ve read descriptions of this place online of it being «upscale». I definitely wouldn’t think of it being upscale in the least. Laid back is what I would describe the place as. It was empty, but I can definitely see the place getting busy at night. Lots of standing room, a few cocktail tables in the front and sofas to lounge in towards the back.
They have 2 TVs at the bar. They were playing interesting movies on them. Glad to see something other than sports on! As for the drinks, I was surprised to see their list of beers was twice as long as their list of wines. I thought they were a wine bar? One star off for that.

This is my favorite bar! My cousin recommended this place a while ago, and it lived up to the hype. The beer selection is big, so I get to try something new every time. Frank is an awesome guy and a great bartender. He’s always smiling and very friendly. The artwork on the walls is always changing, and I’ve seen some really great pieces. There are couches as well as high rise seating. The layout of the bar is pretty long so it never gets too crowded. There are live shows, movie viewings, and keep-​the-​glass events. Definitely check this place out when you get the chance. It’s a great chill spot in Pomona.

Love this bar as an after work chill spot when I’ve had a long day. Thursdays are cool because of Keep the Glass. Fridays and Saturdays are cool if you are in the mood for live music or dancing. Refresh is usually awesome but not when they have guest Dj’s. Bartenders are great, especially Frank. Beer is great, wine is overpriced. The art is awesome.

Probably my favorite bar in downtown Pomona. It has a great beer selection with lots of Belgian style american ales and the food is inexpensive and tasty.

Is further enhanced by the stage in the back and the bands that play there on a regular basis. Good beer + good food + live music = good times.
This is the first place that I heard the band O Sensei play. Great show and have seen the band one more one since. Definitely one of the most promising bands in the IE. Glad DBA is a patron of the arts and provides a forum for small bands like this. Cheers!

Nice place to hang out on a Friday Night.
The place is not very noticeable, so I drove by it a few times before I realized where it was. It is on a corner, and next to it is a large art gallery.
Will definitely have to try the food next time!

The dba is one of my kickit spots.
They have good beers and good vibes. Wine selection is sad. Wish they had more beer on tap.
They feature open mic and have some sweet shows and art.

Love this spot. The bartender with the curly fro is such a cool guy. He always gives great customer service to my friend and I. He always remembers us.
Variety of beers. Bottle and draft. Love their, «Steal a Glass» nights. They also have other events throughout the week that they post on their Instagram.

One of my best friends lives in P-​town … so when i venture out her way, we normally hit up dba256. My review comes in as a 3 because if you’re a wine lover, then be prepared to change up the typical wine you drink, they typically WON’T have it. Sad face! My few experiences have proven that to be a fact.
Feedback for the buyer, if you’re a «wine» bar, please have a selection of wine.
Moving on … I do enjoy the music they play, it was like i had stepped back into the 1990’s. so funky fresh. I’m not much of a dancer, but even this music selection would have gotten me out of my seat, key word «would» have
