Very tasty and tender chicken tikka. I love that it’s quick and easy pick up! It’s such a hole in the wall… But it’s as fast as McDonald’s! There aren’t a lot of options in that area of Pomona, so this quick easy fix has my vote when I’m in the neighborhood

Best hidden gem in Pomona! If you love Indian food for a great price this is the place to come! My bf and I have been coming here for the past 3 years and they never disappoint. Take it to-go or they have tables inside to eat as well. The tikka masala is our favorite, but of course everything they have is good too!

If you are local to the area and limited by distance(like a lot of the campus-folk I saw in here) I can see getting excited about this place as there isn’t too much around, but this food isn’t even as good as Trader Joe’s Indian dishes. The sauces in everything, is far too watery. The food tastes OK but with all of the spices used in Indian cuisine, it’s hard to screw up flavors like masala and korma. Not bad, but definitely not great, and I have to wonder if people giving this place four and five stars have ever eaten anything aside from alfalfa. Get it? That’s my Cal-Poly Ag joke… ok, I’m done.

Terrible food. This isn’t real indian food. Completely unsanitary. Food looks like it’s been left out for hours. It’s just nasty. I’m Indian so I know for a fact they are a rip off. If people think this is good I just don’t know what to say. There are places to get cheaper much better indian food. If you have time and you really are craving GOOD indian food check out artesia. It’s little india and the food is ten times better and more authentic.

Delish!!! I am picky about my food & where I eat. This may not be the most luxurious place but the food is great & the restraint is clean. Polite service & fresh made naan.

Really? Why does this place have so many great reviews? Have you guys ever had REAL Indian food or what? Complete opposite of what authentic Indian food tastes like. They even messed up the garlic naan. Garlic powder? Whhaattt? Frozen peas? Eww. You can tell there is no flavor development within the individual dishes. Sucks too since I am always out there for school and can’t go to my local spot as much as I wish. If you really want to taste something AMAZING and are in the Burbank area — hit up Flavor of India during the buffet hours(11 – 3). All you can eat for about $ 11. Your taste buds will thank you! Dump this place and put it on your list of «Never to visit again». I did…

Best Indian fast food I have had. Before I became Pescatarian, I always got their Chicken Tikka Masala, it is by far the best masala I have eaten, it is worth more than 5 stars, I would give it 10 stars, If I could. After becoming pescatarian, I’m so glad that they have fish curry as well for me, which is really really good! Now that’s all I get. Anyone trying this place, the Chicken Tikka Masala is a Must Have. Also, Francis will give you a generous portion of Rice if You ask him for more. Love their food, there was one point when I went to eat here 4 times in one week. That is a lot. Anytime I think of Indian food, I think about«Curry Up». For only under $ 10, you can get Expensive Indian Restaurant food here.

Had the chicken tikka masala bowl for lunch here. Service was friendly and fast. The bowl included a generous serving of chicken and sauce over rice. I thought about getting the garlic naan that everyone seems to be crazy about, but I’m not a big bread lover. Maybe next time… I’m sure I’ll be back. The food was flavorful and it’s a great choice if you need a quick to-go meal.

I have religiously lived my college life here. Trust me when I say it holds a special place in my heart. No shame. The Goods: * Chicken Tikka Masala is the light that navigates me home. Get a bowl of this stuff with garlic naan and you’re set for lunch(or life). Packaged deal comes in about $ 8. * Mango Lassi: Although I do have the 5 stars up, please skip on this lassi. Let’s just focus on the chicken tikka masala, ok? The Habitat: * Near Cal Poly Pomona and Mt. Sac; so this is as college town as you’ll get. * Seating consists of several large tables and a couple of two seaters * Despite several fans blowing, it can get a bit stuffy. * Student discount of 10% * They have a stamp card; last stamp gets 50% off. * Credit minimum of about $ 7 * Plenty of parking * Free Wifi * They close on Sundays during the summer Overall, this place is amazing. Inexpensive Indian food is always an A+ in my books.

This is a perfectly respectable little take-out place that usually has 5 – 10 fresh curries and daals available; sometimes the options change(a couple days a week they’ll have a fish curry, some days it’s a goat curry) but you’ll always be able to get Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, and Saag Paneer from their hot and ready trays — you can also order from a made to order specials menu(with things like biryani) but the wait isn’t worth it. Food here is usually pretty mild but sometimes you’ll get a surprise spicy kick; if not you can load up on mint sauce to bring it up to par — just make sure to try your food before you spice it. If it’s close to lunch or dinner time make sure you call to order because the place gets inundated with Cal Poly Students pretty frequently, and keep in mind that they’re closed on Sundays in the summer because they’re missing the majority of their customers. And all the employees are super great but not all of them have a fantastic command of English — be patient! They are trying to help you get tasty food, don’t be a jerk about their ESL skills.

Delicious curry place. I got the Chicken Tiki Masala(Small) with garlic naan. I’ve eaten at a few Indian curry places and this is definitely one of the better ones(Not the best, though). The chicken chunks are a nice reward for the diligent eater, but it kinda ends up globbing up the dish(the chunks were gigantic). Maybe if the chunks were smaller? I try not to think so much. The actual curry mixed with garlic naan was delicious. First time with garlic naan: excellent. For me, it was infused with the spirit of Chinese onion cake, which is a huge plus on my end. The small order of curry was enough to demolish 2 orders of naan. Very filling for under $ 10. The interior is not much to look at, but don’t let that fool ya. This is good stuff.

Found this place on whim as I was in the area of Cal Poly Pomona for work and my appointment was running late. First of all don’t let the no-frills set up fool you; this is some LEGIT Indian food. They have a two item combo for about 8 bucks(can’t remember exact price but totally affordable). I had the Tiki Chicken Marsala, lumpia and rice and garlic naan. The chicken was absolutely tender and delicious with just the right amount of spice and cream in the sauce. The lumpia was gigantic and because I ate that bad boy first I barely had room in my tummy for 1⁄3rd of the chicken and a bit of rice. The garlic naan is made fresh to order and is so delicious(yummy stinky breath good). I barely ate ½ of the lunch sized plate and would have loved to take the rest home if I wasn’t going to be out in the field for the rest of the day. Staff is super sweet and was very patient as I set hemming and hawing over what to get. This will definitely be another one of my «go-to» restaurants in the area.

Very large portions and generous! I tried the curry goat and curry vegetable. They definitely had a spicy kick at the end. There’s a lot of rice on the plate that you can get some sauce of the curry on. The flavors were good but doesn’t make me want more. The garlic naan was good but wish it was even more garlicky. The place is clean but it was simply too hot inside. Made it feel like a sauna, no air conditioning on only fans and door was open. It felt stuffy and as if it were the dead of summer. Overall and ok experience.

i’ve only been here one time and holy crap, ITWASGOOD. I used to dislike curry, and Indian food… and man, I don’t know what I was thinking. Something had to be wrong with me. I got the chicken+chicken combo and chose chicken korma and chicken tikka masala. It came with a generous helping of rice and the best naan I have ever tasted in my life. I don’t normally like bread or bready things really, but that naan was freakin AWESOME. The only thing I can compare it to is pita bread, but its WAYBETTER than pita bread. As good as the curry was, the naan was the star of the meal. I couldn’t and still cant get over it… Anyways, before I got distracted by the naan, I was going to say the curries here are delicious. It’s flavorful, spicy(but not too spicy), and they give you such generous helpings! I normally eat huge portions but my friend and I both had trouble finishing our plates. I think I’m actually going to head over to Curry Up for dinner tonight. This place definitely deserves a revisit.

Pretty good spot for some Indian fast food. They have bowls n combos ranging from $ 5-$ 8. There’s 4 – 5 different choices of chicken curries but my personal fave is their goat curry. Generous chunks of goat and savory sauce. Oh yea upgrade the plain naan to garlic naan! Bombay!

STUDENTS: Show your school ID for 10% off!(However, you won’t be eligible for their stamp card. Bleh.) NOTE: $ 7 minimum for card. I personally love Indian food, but I don’t know a lot of places near my area that can fix my cravings. Fortunately, this place is convenient and fast. Win win. I usually get a one-item chicken dish(chicken tikka masala) with some garlic naan. With an Arizona, my price usually comes to around $ 8. Perfect! Their chicken tikka masala is a bit on the thinner side but nonetheless delicious. The pieces of chicken in the sauce are very tender. Make sure you ask them to pour the sauce over the rice pilaf(which is also good). The side salad is whatever. Might switch over to getting their bowls, which is a $ 1 less and comes with no salad. Their garlic naan is REALLY good. They make it fresh, so expect to wait a minute or two. It’s a couple cents extra, but it’s definitely worth it. Gonna explore their other selections soon. Their saag paneer and goat curry look especially good. But until then, I’m a happy camper. TIP: It’s fairly warm inside, and their ceiling fan just won’t cut it. I’d suggest getting your food to-go during warm SoCal days.
