I stopped in because the sign said taco Tuesday. I ordered 5 tacos because I love street tacos. The carnitas and asada were both average and the spicy pork was not good at all. It was cold and all fat and grissel. Don’t do the spicy pork. I did not try the burger but I’ve heard they are good…

Just a standard cheeseburger and fries. The tacos are typical with two corn tortillas cilantro and onions. Don’t expect nice ambiance or comfort. Plan on listening to loud Mexican music and the guys working in the kitchen had their kids with them at work and the kids weren’t too happy about it. Tacos are $ 1.25 and cheeseburger combo is $ 5.35. Overall the food was not bad but definitely not the greatest either.

Best place to get carne asada fries, and probably the best Mexican food in the area. Fresh, reasonably priced, and tasty.

Amazing burgers if you are willing to wait for them. Going here during lunch is a guaranteed half an hour or more experience. Despite my wait for my take out order, the hamburgers are definitely top notch. I would dare say that they are almost equivalent of Five Guys. The hamburger is cooked and spiced just right. Be sure to get grilled onions you are into that. The price is extremely low for the size you want, which always sweetens the deal. I would definitely go again, just not at prime hours like lunch(11:30 — 1:30).

Amazing burgers! If you like in n out burgers you will fall in love with these ones. Had there tacos the other day too and they were also amazing. If have not tried this place you must go. Their sign says best burgers in town and I must say this is true. This is a hidden gem in poky.

Two words: SALSABAR I love this location of El Jacalito because of the amazing salsa bar. There are some of the most delicious, complex salsas I’ve ever had. Try the dark salsa(I forget the name, it is almost black in color), it is incredible. They claim to have«the best burgers in town;» but when you can get an authentic spicy pork taco, why on earth would you order a burger? When deciding which location to go to, I am always torn. The other location has an incredible happy hour with the biggest beers you have ever seen. In my head I’m always saying: beer? salsa? beer? salsa? beer…
