Best place In Plymouth! What a great addition! Wait staff is stellar and the food is awesome! It’s a locals feel… Super friendly. Love the place!

Why is there a dude shirtless dancing at the bar? Serious inquiry. Concerned. Besides that not bad. Free popcorn too!

Terrible service, management is a joke they don’t know what they are doing, half of the time they are drunk on the job. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Honestly enjoyed the bar a lot at first, staff was cool, service excellent. During our time enjoying the bar, a friend of mine, joking with a waitress somewhere in there conversation he told her she was being stupid(in a purely joking manner). This wasnt an issue at first until a manger heard about the comment. Not knowing the situation he got very upset and decided the only course of action was to kick me and my friends out(completely fine), while making Remarks, harassing us. We didnt argue with the staff upon asking us to leave, and took off down the street to another bar. Minutes later the bouncer from the post and the manager had followed us to our next bar, took our drinks and forces us out of the bar. The following day i came back with a gift of fudge from my work and wanted to apologize and extend my apologize since my friend«disrespected» their worker. When i went in to apologize to the owner, he refused my apology and gift and i was also turned away. I was also told if it happened again we wouldnt be welcome back. The fact of the matter is im not upset with getting kicked out of a bar, or accused of exagerated scenerios, but upon trying to clear things up the following day i was heavily disrespected with how i was treated. I understand this post cant fully encompass the disrespect i was treated with, but bottom line, I wont go back again. i wish them the best, but i like being treated fairly and with the same respect i extend 1⁄10.

Stopped in here for lunch on Saturday and sat on the back patio which we both enjoyed. It was nice they had TVs hooked up for our outdoor viewing pleasure. Both of us started off with the spicy Bloody Mary, very well executed I will get this again. I ordered the buffalo chicken roll up and it was good. I am deducting a star because from the time we ordered until the time our food hit the table was around an hour. This seemed like a long time for a restaurant that was half full.

I came in with my brother and sisters after a fun day of house hunting and we had a lovely time. The food and beer selections were on point and very delicious. The highlight of the meal was our server, I believe her name was Mary(she had long blonde hair, and blue eyes.) She was exuberant, engaging, and very fun. One thing I thought was especially wonderful about her service was how she was very playful with our table but also was chameleonic with the desires of other guests and really catered to them. Coming from someone who is in the hospitality industry as well, I thought that was awesome. Way to go, Mary! Thanks for an awesome time.

Just tried to get a table for 2. The older blonde hostess and the younger hostess made up some crap about the tables being all reserved or nothing available. They proceeded to sit couples in front of us. I’m Asian and I think both hostesses are racist, got a really bad vibe and they kept giving me the evil eye. Get a table at Sean O’Callaghan’s. They’re friendly and we got a seat right away! That older blonde hostess at Post Bistro is clearly a bigot.

Trusting reviews of nachos. This can’t be considered a review yet. I’m here & the music sucks. We got a seat right away, but it’s a high top in a high traffic area. Crowd is slightly douchy… My Boyfriend in bathroom, so I have a minute to share this. Follow up post will be either extremely bad or average. The best feature so far is service, which is heavily weighted in my reviews…

Love The Post Bar! It’s become one of our go-to local spots. Having said that, the menu is small. It does have some super-star selections, but it has some misses, which further limits the choice. Stars: Buffalo Wings: These are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. They have medium heat, which is just the way I like them. They are quite large, each piece is a substantial size. Best of all is the crispy coating, which doesn’t become soggy under the sauce. Burger 408: My favorite entrée, thus far. The burger itself is juicy and flavorful. The toppings are interesting and enhance the sandwich. The Post uses a brioche bun, which is an excellent addition. The burger comes with fries, which are thin, crisp, and full of salty, potato goodness. I’ve also substituted the sweet potato fries. They were good, not great. Flat Bread(with shrimp): I really liked this appetizer. It was sufficient for a light meal. The flavors were very fresh, and set off the shrimp quite well. Blondie: This dessert is my absolute fave. It’s pure caramelly goodness! Misses: House Made Kettle Chips & Dips: Chips were nothing spectacular and the dip potion was absolutely tiny. 6oz. Filet: Nice cut of meat, but lacked flavor. The poor piece of meat was crying for some sort of interesting seasoning. The horseradish sauce was more horseradish than sauce. The grilled mushrooms, while tasty, didn’t add much to the experience. Mushrooms in some sort of sauce would have been better.

Despite the ultra snotty blonde hostess, the bartender Jennifer saved my patronage and made me glad I came.

This place was off the hook! Was visiting friends in Michigan and The Post was luckily open on New Years day(hallelujah!). Great service, delicious food and the price was right. The clam chowder was some of the best clam chowder I’ve ever had in my whole life, I kid you not. Get the fried egg BLT… it’s outta this world!

Perfect place for us today. Hungry and everyone wanted a «different» meal. Breakfast, lunch, spicy, simple — they had it all & Football too! Service was great and price point doable!

Meh. Long wait on a Friday night, which isn’t unexpected and is not the primary reason for the rating. There isn’t a lot of space to wait, which again is not a huge deal. On to the deal breaker, then. Crucially, the board outside mentions that they have gluten free options. The menu posted to their website also lists a gluten free menu. Unfortunately, the staff could not find a gluten free menu in the restaurant. The gluten free options were the primary reason my wife and I came here, as she has a gluten intolerance. The server was not particularly helpful in regards to helping us determine which items could be made gluten free. My wife ended up going with the grilled chicken sandwich, sans bun, and seemed to enjoy it. I had a quesadilla and it was good, if a little plain. Not a bad stop for the beer/cider/mead, but I probably won’t be going back for food.

Love Post Local! We came here for our«going away» get together with friends, as my wife and I just moved across the country. I wish we had discovered Post Local sooner. It’s a very casual atmosphere with rock-solid food offerings. I had the JT burger which was cooked perfectly to order and had some higher class items than what you would find elsewhere(goat cheese, arugula, etc). Would highly recommend for a place that you just want to relax at but have a good meal. The owner was working his butt off and swung by our table to say hi, which I always appreciate.

We came with two friends for dinner on a Saturday night. Given it was so nice out, we decided to sit on the patio. It’s a fun place to have drinks/a meal on a nice night, but be aware that if you sit outside, you are limited to the grill menu which basically consists of hot dogs, burgers, and a few sandwiches. The patio has plenty of seating, speakers piping music, and a few fire places! My husband had the burger and said it was excellent. I ordered the«Swanky Franky», which was also great. It was a hot dog, stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. Does it get any better??? Oh, yes it does. It was served on a pretzel bun with a slightly sweet kreme mustard served on top. All of the dogs/sandwiches, etc, were served with a grilled ear of corn, kettle chips and a watermelon slice. My husband and his friend also ordered a side of fries. I am not sure what it is about those fries, but they were amazing! Thin and crisp, but not too crisp, and the perfect amount of seasoning! Service was very good for a busy Friday night. They have a great bar with plenty of beers, wines, and unique cocktails. I would highly recommend!

I’m already looking forward to coming back to try the food and for more of the atmosphere here. A Post is a Post but this one is definitely made for Plymouth. I’m not sure if they had a dance floor but it couldn’t hurt business if they put one in… hint hint. The patio looked inviting and the staff was friendly with plenty of attractive servers who were on the ball. I liked this place. I only came in for a beer but it felt like a fun place to be. That said, I feel like this place would be a nightmare cluster of 20-somethings on the weekend, a heads up.

Today was my first time going here but I will admit it won’t be my last! The food was delicious. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and my wife had the fish and chips. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. As an appetizer we had the kettle chips and dip. For $ 4 this too was a generous serving and worth and price. I especially enjoyed the ambiance. Nice placemats you’d have at your house along with pictures on the wall gave it a real homey feel. My one complaint was the menu. Not a lot of choices and the menu is just one sided. I did appreciate the separate drink menu with prices! Which you rarely see now until you get the bill…

Horrible service… Not attentive. We had to wait around for drink refills and had to ask other workers for catsup and A1, since she didn’t bring it out or even ask if we needed it(and a steak was ordered). Appetizers are good, though. Only reason it’s getting 2 stars. Very small menu… not much to choose from(only 7 dinner entrees and I don’t consider 2 of them to qualify as that, Mac n cheese and fish n chips… so 5). Don’t get jambalaya; the chicken is dry and burnt. We also ordered the filet, which was dry and had little flavor. This waitress(I’m sitting here now as I write this post.) is taking forever, and kitchens close soon. The place was busy; I still would like my $ back for the horrible food(minus the appetizers) and service. She was very speedy giving the check and running the card, though. Just a horrible experience almost completely throughout. Don’t bother going here for food.

Our first time at the Post was during the World Cup, so it was barely standing room only at the bar. We’d just eaten dinner at Cellar across the street, so we got a couple beers and stood for a bit. Our second time at the Post, we sat at the bar, drank beer and chatted up the bartenders. They were very chatty, telling us about upcoming tap takeovers and the upcoming Plymouth Restaurant Week. We’ll be back chatty bartenders! Our third time at the Post was for PRW. We scored seats at the bar again. I chose the Spinach and Greens Salad, Crab Cakes and coconut cake for $ 25. All three courses were delicious, and I felt I got a good deal. Ken wanted the Fried Egg BLT but no other courses so he just ordered the sandwich and snacked on my plates. This was our first time trying their food, and we were pleased. They recently had a Dogfish Head tap takeover, including the evasive 120(which I do not love, but Ken’s always looking for this beer which costs about $ 10-ish for a single bottle). The Post gets busy. And loud. Not just on weekends either.
