I typically avoid buffets as much as possible… the only time I’ll go eat buffet is when in LA or traveling outside of US… there are rare occasions where I’ll go and have buffet for a meal… and yes, on this day, it was one of those rare occasion moments… I went with a coworker and I have told myself that I would limit myself to no more than 4 slices and a plate of salad… water for drink. I was good on two out of three :) Typical Pizza Hut with their buffet tables in the middle. You walk in, the host ask how many, you get seated. They ask if you want buffet or order from the menu, you tell them what you want to do(buffet for us) and order the drinks. Standard procedure at Pizza Hut… Now, long before we got our pizza, I was already grossed out by the table… the table was sticky… as if there has been oil build up on the table over the years of operation… wiping down with chemical should resolve this… but if they are not using chemicals to clean, they need to come up with a better method to clean the tables! When we went up to the buffet, there weren’t that many slices left… so I ended up getting the salad first and opted to wait for new pies. Once I finished my salad, I was rewarded… new pies started coming out… I got a cheese, pepperoni and one combo… three slices total. Then I made the mistake of going for three more slices… I guess when you don’t eat pizza that often, once you start, its hard to stop… in total, I ended up eating 8 slices and the dessert… yeah… thought about working out longer that night, but didn’t even make it to the gym! Service was standard… I will not go back for long time… long long time! I had enough of pizza from Pizza Hut during this visit… but the price is cheap and it’s all you can eat… you can’t beat that!
