We stopped into«M n’ M Scoops» when visiting my boyfriend’s relatives in Bristol. We drove into Plymouth to do some shopping, and were very excited when we came across this place. The woman who is the co-owner couldn’t have been nicer, the place was immaculate, and offered generous seating options(an old-fashioned style ice cream counter, as well and tables and chairs in the little shop and also near the window, where you can watch people pass buy. We are from MA and ME and were BLOWN away when we ordered five ice creams(for two adults and three teenagers,) and the total was well under $ 20…I believe it may have been $ 16 or so… We each had one-two scoops but seriously, it looked like three… the servings were extremely generous, and they had a huge amount of flavor options(ice cream.) They also had some cool locally made chocolates and treats, and attached on the otherside is a very funky, older book shop that also sells super cute gifts. The kids were quite excited, and asked if we could take them there the next time we are in town. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves treats!

I loved that they let you try samples of the ice cream before purchase. It is a little pricey but the scoops are huge, so worth it. Had the strawberry and it was good. Husband loved combining the chocolate explosion and mint chocolate chip, though he struggled to finish two scoops after we had dinner down the street at the Lucky Dog. Highly recommend!

Very nice local spot on the campus of Plymouth State. A young college vibe here from the staff and patrons. We were in town just looking at the campus. Clearly this is the place to get your just desserts. Cause that’s all they have. Courtney at the counter was super nice. She is a senior on campus and had a lot to say. Sweet!

It’s a cute little country store in the mountains of New Hampshire, it’s exactly what you would expect. Many flavors of icecream, some«penny» candy that isn’t priced as a penny, and cute décor. Ice cream is good, atmosphere is even better. If you want a taste of quintessential NH, this is a great place!

I had a small graham cracker hard ice cream, I cant remember the exact name but wow was it delish! My mom had a small mint chocolate chip and thoroughly enjoyed it, they offer a free sample and seating is semi limited. They had some pretty great sounding flavors and a cute retro design. They share a store front with the Readery which closes at 5. They stay open longer though, enjoy!

M&M Scoops is the whole package: fantastic service, delicious products, charming atmosphere, and fair prices. Even when there is a huge line, the employees make every customer feel important. I go here far more often than I should.

Bullet point review: –Nice, somewhat retro set up — pink, yellow light blue stripes on the wall –Many candy containers to scoops from –Menu written colorfully on a big chalkboard –Bar stools with a foot width counter –Almost entirely sweets related, except for soup –Broccoli cheddar soup sweet and creamy –Huge selection of flavors –Never had an ice cream soda before; didn’t realize it was just ice cream plus Seltzer –It was a pretty tasty combination –Music seems to be 70s to 80s — good picks that are fun

Very good ice cream in a pretty nice part of town. Just a warning — they are extremely generous with their scoops. One scoop is a lot of ice cream. My boyfriend had underestimated the scoops and got 3 — the employee was very nice and understanding(and giggling) when his cone broke and he had to ask for a bowl! Cute little place.

M ‘n M Scoops(formerly Sweet Kathy’s and under new ownership) is a cute old fashioned style ice cream parlor located in Downtown Plymouth, scooping out over 20 flavors of Bliss Ice Cream and frozen yogurt including sugar free options. This colorful shop has seating at the counter and table seating, and is adjoined to The Readery next door. They offer cones & cups($ 3.50(2 scoop)/$ 4.25(3 scoop)), sundaes($ 4.50/$ 5.25), banana splits($ 5.95/$ 6.25), 20 oz frappes($ 5), ice cream sodas($ 5), root beer floats($ 3.95) and sherbet freezes/coolers($ 3.95). Toppings, walnuts and waffle cones/bowls extra.-Prices before tax in mid 2012. They also sell a good variety of small candies. After taking a brief walk around Downtown Plymouth, I stopped in at M n M Scoops to cool off from the heat outside. For carryout, I got a 2 Scoop Sundae($ 4.50) with Coffee Oreo ice cream, peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, cherry and sweet walnuts(extra $ 0.85), total just under $ 6 with the tax, a moderate price. The sundae(served in a clear plastic cup) was a nice refreshing cold treat, especially on a hot summer day. The peanut butter sauce was tasty & sweet with a smooth texture and the walnuts added a nice crunch. I was careful not to make too much of mess, grabbing a few napkins. (3.65÷5.00)
