Out of town and needed a good coffee place! The prices are definitely a little bit higher, but you get what you pay for. I thought the overall atmosphere was good, but I can’t speak too much as I was in and out. My espresso on the other hand was wonderful! If you’re someone who doesn’t mind shelling out a little extra for better quality, give this place a go!

Handcrafted drinks in the heart of downtown Plymouth, what more can you want? Be prepared to get what you pay for — seasonal drinks can cost upwards of $ 6 with tax. I treat myself on occasion because life is too short for bad coffee. Seating is limited(I don’t consider this space ‘good for working’ because one person taking up a table for hours in a small location isn’t considerate, in my opinion) but there is free wifi and if you’re in a hurry you can call ahead your drink orders. Each cup, including regular coffee, is brewed to order so if you arrive during a peak time there may be a small wait, but all of the beans are roasted on site so it’s all apart of the experience PLUS you’re supporting a local business. Whole beans are also for sale, as are a few delicious pastries(I can’t resist a biscotti whenever I stop by).

I never knew I could love coffee so much. After suffering through the chain coffee house offerings for years, I damn near gave up on the idea of coffee being good. In my travels overseas I learned that coffee could be awesome, but I didn’t think I’d find anything that good here. To my surprise, a trip to Espresso Elevado proved me wrong. I was instantly hooked! I typically go for their seasonal or flavored drinks. The Calabaza Latte, the Eggnog Latte, and the Sea Salt Breve are my favorites. Oh, the Lavendar latte is also wonderful. And when I say flavored I don’t mean with those awful commercial syrups that even SOMANY mom and pop coffee shops use. No, this place makes their own syrups and flavoring from real ingredients, not chemicals. I want a latte right now!

Bad weather, lack of parking, long line, no seats available in house… All persuasive and inconvenient reasons that have no power over my decision to come here! I travel from Farmington hills to grab my crafted coffee. Today I wanted to be adventurous and I’m trying their coconut lemongrass. The name always interested me and it was so unique. I never had anything quite like it. It reminded me of a tom kha soup from a Thai restaurant with a hint of a citrus tartness from the lemongrass. Whoever came up with this is a freakin genius. If you like Thai food and coconut milk, this is the drink for you! I had the opportunity to try the marzipan cappuccino and it was Christmas in a cup. You have a choice of whole milk or chocolate milk :) I chose chocolate and it was heavenly. I do wish they offer larger sizes for the price they charge but I’ll take what they got for now!

This place was made for those who admire a carefully crafted cup of coffee. I’ve been coming here since they opened, but my boyfriend and I have been coming much more regularly as of recently. Espresso Elevado has spoiled me to the point where I don’t consider purchasing coffee from Starbucks anymore. Their space is small, and was perfect sized when they first opened. However, they are becoming increasingly popular and I rarely plan on getting my drink«for here» because there is nearly never an open table. I won’t argue with anyone that says this place is pricy, but I believe their costs are justified in the quality, sourcing and location that e2 provides. Even without a line, their coffee making process takes around 5 minutes. With a line, expect to wait 15 minutes. The wait is worth it. Trust me.

Our go-to place for coffee. Love that it is organic. The coffee tastes better when you get it «for here». I always get the caramelo without whip, every single time. My husband buys their coffee in bags to brew at home. It’s a little small inside but most of the time we go there there is a table open. We have tried their desserts a couple times and they have always been good.

I don’t like the regular coffee chains at all so always prefer a local coffee restaurant. Sweet coco chocolate latte is what I tried here and was wonderful. It’s indeed a great coffee place and I’d like to go back to it again and again every time I visit Detroit.

I loved my lavender vanilla bean latte! Perfect combination of strong coffee offset with just the right amount of sweetness. The small size was bigger than I expected– my bf and I shared and we couldn’t finish it. This coffee shop is really quite nice and I would never have noticed it had I not looked up coffee shops on Unilocal first. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Plymouth and craving quality coffee.

Such creamy cappuccino. Good foam. Breve is decadent. Their coffees rotate frequently. The house roast, Route 606, is delicious brewed or in espresso drinks. Beans are roasted on-site. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Best coffee shop in the area.

As somebody who is always trying to find the cheap route and usually brews coffee at home instead of buying it on the run, believe me when I say this place is worth going to. It’s a tiny bit pricy($ 10 for two drinks for us most days) and there’s usually a wait, but that’s because of the time it takes to expertly brew your favorite beverage, which is always the ideal temperature. Absolutely perfect way to start a lazy weekend day before you run errands or do housework. Probably before work during the week, too, but for me it is a slowly-sip-and-savor type of place. I always look forward to coming here, such a simple pleasure. What initially drove me in to visit this quirky yet sophisticated spot was the variety of drink flavors offered. I get something different every time and have never been disappointed. Lavender, gardenia, curried coconut, and other regulars stay on the menu, and there are always specials too(clove, cayenne, raspberry chocolate have been past flavors). Some are subtle backnotes and others are very bold. There are also many types of brewing available; it’s fun to watch the baristas. If you went to The Bean around the corner as a teenager, try Espresso Elevado as an adult :)

It’s just the best place to grab coffee, no doubt. I’m not a coffee scientist but the on-site roasting makes for freshly delicious coffee. They’ve made a cold brew w/chocolate milk my regular weekend go-to when I’m in DTP, but when I’m looking for something else, they are excellent at recommending a new option.

Nice place with a good atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. The shop itself is a little small, so it can be hard to get a seat. I’ve had the lavender vanilla bean coffee both hot and iced. Absolutely delicious both times(and I’m not a big coffee drinker). I make it a point to stop here whenever I’m in the area!

this was our first visit here and the experience was awesome. the coffee was a 10⁄10. What a difference between a drive through and a small place like this. You might have to pay a little more bit the quality is so worth it.

I came here yesterday with a friend and thought the coffee was bomb, but the service? Not so much. When we walked in greeted with a weak hello and the other barista just looking at us. It was a off putting, but nothing terrible. The building is little, light green walls with some twinkling lights. There was no one there when I came in, and I feel the space would have been improved with a buzzing atmosphere. The cinnamon spice latte I had was very good! The foam was on point and delicious. There were a lot more adventurous menu items, but I wasn’t feeling particular risky that day! I would give this place another shot(badum tssss) due to the good latte, and ignoring the meh service due to the baristas maybe having a meh day

the service was a bit slow but what i gathered was that on the sunday i visited, things were busier than normal and they were short-staffed. my latte took 10 minutes easy and the cashier only remembered to make my oatmeal after i came up a second time looking for it. the place is short on seating and is kind of an awkward shape, so when it gets backed up things get a bit awkward. lots of interesting flavors available if that’s your thing. coconut lime latte seemed popular, as did the lavender vanilla. not my thing, but something unique if you’re feeling adventurous. the barista took his time making the espresso and it was worth the wait. creamy, perfect temperature, nice latte art. quite satisfying. slim on the gluten-free options though there is a goji berry oatmeal available. i ordered that and enjoyed it, but there’s an ingredient in it that i ended up tasting all day, so i probably would not get that again. all in all, a good find. next time through, i’ll probably be back. thanks elevado!

A lot of great coffee choices from helpful baristas who really care about coffee. They also have great little nibbles that go great with your coffee. Many different brewing choices to. The only negative is a lack of on site parking but you can park on the side street.

If you are afraid of trying something different for fear of robust flavor but WANT to try something different, try the lavender vanilla latte. It’s full of subtleties and complexities that wont scare you away, rather, it will make you smile– for you just tried something new and different and didn’t get overwhelmed! Also, the staff was nice. Like they cared about what they made and if it was up to your personal standards. There’s no hipster feel to this place which is nice.

Went in and got the lavender vanilla latte. YUM! I really do need to savor the flavors instead of wondering where the rest of my latte went after a couple minutes. The lavender vanilla latte is easily one of my favorite lattes now. My tastes over the years have changed and I now find myself enjoying more of the flowery flavors of coffee and desserts as opposed to the sweeter ones. I just wish Espresso Elevado closed a little later like 8 or 9PM.
