Love this place! I’ve gotten two tattoos from Matt (one was a tricky cover-​up), and they’re my two favorite tattoos. My only complaint about the tattoos is they make the rest of my tattoos from other artists at other shops look awful in comparison! Would highly recommend this shop. Clean, professional, and great work. Worth the money.

I love these guys. They are worth the wait. Ive had many tattoos done by Ryan but everyone there is talented! (He’s my favorite though). Shop is clean and they work great with first timers. I went in there to be moral support with a friend and I was so impressed I made myself an appointment and then another and the another and now Im thinking about more.

I went to Cobra for my first tattoo after reading awesome reviews. The shop is so great – wonderful art on the walls and impeccably clean. Everyone is friendly and kind and simply waiting for my appointment was a pleasant experience (loved the mix of music on the speakers!). Chops did my tattoo and he couldn’t have been better. The design was relatively simple but he took the time to get it just the way i wanted and did a great job of putting me at ease throughout the process. I love the result and I really can’t recommend Cobra Custom more. Thank you!

Forrest is awesome. His creative input is fantastic and I always walk out with work that far exceeds my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Cobra Custom to anyone looking for a tattoo. Don’t settle for good… Go to Cobra and get AMAZING!

I’ve been getting tattoos here for about 6 years. I’ve gone to other shops during that time, but never been as happy as when I’ve gone to cobra. So clean and professional. Midas does amazing work that gets compliments and makes me proud to have. Can’t recommend this shop enough. Prices are on the higher end comparable with any good shop, and you’ll get way more than you pay for, it’s worth it, I promise.

Great place, great artists. if you are looking for black and grey, midas is top notch. ryan is great at animals. and forest is great at japaneese style. price is on the high end, but the mantra is true, good tattoo’s arn’t cheep and cheep tattoo’s arn’t good.

A little late on the review — I’ve actually gotten 2 tats here over the last year — but only recently became a Unilocaler. This place is the best tattoo shop around. Did lots of research and visits to other places but felt most comfortable here. Each artist has his own unique style so you have lots of options depending on your design. Brian did both of mine — one was a free hand portrait of my dad and it came out better than the picture he was using as reference. He also crafted a Celtic cross for me that is just phenomenal. Each job ran over 4 hours but the pricing was still very reasonable… particularly when you take into account how good these guys are at their craft. Make sure you tip well — they deserve it. Heading back soon for my 4th, and final, tattoo in the next few weeks.

Woke up on a Friday and decided to change my life. Drove down to Cobra because every time I had admired a local tattoo it had come from here. Staff was really nice, made this first timer feel very comfortable. (They very nicely asked the woman next to me to stop screaming like she was in labor. Thank you!) Ryan did my tattoo from my supplied artwork. He was great. We had a nice conversation while he worked. He was attentive, discussed options with me, made suggestions and I ended up with a beautiful first tattoo. Thank you Ryan, thank you Cobra. This is definitely the place to go.

Have gotten 4 of my tattoos here (medium and large scale), 3 of which were by Midas and 1 by Jase. Absolutely amazing work, great bunch of guys, decent prices, very clean and cozy feeling. Getting an appoitment takes a while, but there’s a reason for that! I’ll be getting many more!!!

I got my tattoo from Jase who did an excellent job. He was funny and nice. He also complimented how badass it was for a girl to be getting an anchor tattoo. Its really cramped inside cobra customs, especially going up the stairs and although I made my appointment around 2 months in advance, I had to wait 3 hours for my artist to be finished with his prior appointment. Overall, it’s a cute little tattoo shop which has some really nice characters working there.

forrest did a BEAUTIFUL tattoo for me on my back that i get jaw dropping compliments from whenever people see it… i have been tattooed at other places, but i have to say the attitude here is so much less «too cool for school» as other places in boston and the talent (and end results) are well worth the long waits to book an appt or the drive down to plymouth!
