LOVE Aristocracy! I have been getting my haircut here since 8th grade(now 27 years old) and have had every cut from long & wavy to super short & sassy. Every cut is perfect and their color is unbelievably natural; they help me achieve the«summer blonde» year round and people are shocked when I tell them I color my hair. I have even been to them to fix poor cuts that I have gotten elsewhere as I currently live in Worcester. In addition to hair cuts/color, I have had multiple up-dos(proms & bridesmaids) and was gifted a facial one Christmas. All of their services are amazing and better yet, all of their staff are incredibly friendly and sweet. I have seen Lisa and Alyssa over the years and am blown away by their talent! I would highly recommend this beautiful Salon & Spa to anyone looking to treat themselves, a friend, or a loved one.

Only reason I’m giving a two star review is because the girl that did my nails was very sweet! Went there with bridesmaids to get our nails done and made the appt a month ago. We were told that we could get our nails done two at a time… no problem. The first two ladies get their nails done and then one of the nail technicians apparently had another appt and they started to take us one at a time. We ask the receptionist what was going on and her reply was when you called I told you that we would only be able to take two appts at a time. I replied with that’s fine but it’s currently one at a time. Her reply: *shrug*. Needless to say, some of us left without a manicure.

I got a gift certificate for here which was the only redeeming quality about my experience, the fact that I didn’t waste my money. The place is dirty. There were piles of cut hair and wet towels. The wrap they gave for the facial had stains on it. The staff is inexperienced. My manicure was horrendous and my pedicure not much better. My eyebrows were waxed down to nothing. Never going back no matter how many gift certificates I get.

I don’t know why this place has not at least 4 stars. I have been going here to get my hair cut since I was 12 years old… so over 10 years. Alyssa is the lady who I request. She is awesome! I have curly hair, so I have a hard time finding a person who knows how to shape my hair. She does it perfect every time. I actually live in Boston, and still come back when I go to the cape to get her to cut my hair. I have gotten highlights — they know how to choose the right shade to make it look natural. ALWAYS a plus. My sister had her hair died at anther salon and they completely FRIED it. My sister came to Aristocracys looking for some advice and help, and over time they helped bring her hair back to life. Eyebrows are great too. I have very sensitive skin — so waxing usually pulls skin off. When Alyssa does it, I am fine after. My only complaint would be that it is a little more than I like to spend — but compared to the other places I’ve had my hair cut… it is worth the extra.

I recently purchased a a foundation makeup from Aristocracy Salon in Plymouth, MA after the cosmetician tried a color on me. Arrived home — looked in the mirror and –«argh» it looked horrid. I went right back to the salon 15 or 20 minutes later and wanted to exchange it for a different color. They refused! Pointed me to a sign that said no returns. I never saw that sign when I was first there. I had the receipt — never opened the product and returned it only several minutes from purchasing it. This to me was unacceptable and also extremely poor service for what is supposed to be an upscale place. Needless to say I will never return. The only upside of the place is the young woman who sold me the product. She was pleasant and tried to be helpful though I don’t think she was very knowledgeable. Don’t buy makeup there if you are not absolutely sure it is right for you. This place is without class and is DEFINITELYNOT high end with their policies and lack of graciousness. Plus their prices are over the top considering their service. This to me was unacceptable and extremely poor interaction with a customer. Also they have not even cleared the steps and walkway. It was very icy and slippery.

My husband gave me a massage here as a birthday surprise, but since we haven’t lived here long, we forgot all about summer traffic as we drove to Plymouth. While in traffic, we realized we weren’t going to make it on time. We called to apologize, and we thought we’d need to cancel, but the spa staff was incredibly gracious. Even though we were 30 minutes late, they managed to fit me in. They were so nice about it, nicer than either of us expected. On top of that, Carole, the masseuse, didn’t rush. I haven’t had many massages, but if a masseur’s goal is to help a client relax, then Carole went above and beyond. I felt like a rag doll when she was finished. The highlights were the scalp massage and the neck massage. As a cubicle jockey, my neck is always scrunched up, but she corrected my posture and helped remind me what it feels like to stand up straight. Even my husband, who fled the spa for a bar, was impressed when he saw me and asked if I had grown a few inches taller! So, yes, I would return to Aristocracy Spa, and I would definitely request Carole.

Pedicure — YES. Great massage, no complaints. Manicures — not so much. Started chipping the same day; looked ok from far away but up-close, were filed poorly, polish was sloppy.

Amy at Aristocracy has always done a great job with my hair. Keeping me looking updated even into my 40s now. I have ventured into the world of color to hide the gray and she did a wonderful job of making me look natural. At each station the support staff is great offering tea, water, etc as well as a paraffin treatment for my hands while I was waiting for the color to process. Service and experience on par with the city right hear at home!

Went here last weekend with my mother for manicures. They only have one manicure station in a small room which was a little awkward with one of us having to wait. The manicurist was ok, probably a little inexperienced. She used nail clippers which hurt my nails and didn’t file my nails too evenly. Other than that the rest of the manicure went well. She gave an excellent hand massage which wasn’t too rough and the value was excellent. Two manicures cost a mere 28 dollars plus tip.
