For a chain restaurant, the food and the drinks are surprisingly good. Décor/atmosphere is your typical pub/bar with pool tables. The service could use some work though.(Hopefully it’s just this one time, but our waitress took our order, then she disappeared, and it seemed like nobody else was working. She showed up 45 minutes later to say she forgot our order and took it again.)

Cool place to visit with or without the kids. Can get costly as some of the games cost from 4 tokens to 9 tokens depending on the level of fun. We waiting to be seated downstairs near the bar area took a while for someone to get up an leave an you pretty much get your own table. Wasn’t impressed with the food choices, but the kids had a great time an nexttime I’ll go back without them

Went on a Sunday night and it was understaffed. Our waiter was great-did the best he could with the number of tables he had. The food isn’t great but I don’t think that’s why you go there. The games were fun and with the meal deal that included $ 20 in play it was a good deal. So, not great but not awful.

Came here to hang out and play some games. There always seems to be new games every times I go which is nice. The prize selection could be better; I think the food for tickets is gone which is unfortunate. I like using my tickets for functional items like food

Definitely one of the more ghetto D&B’s I’ve been to. It’s outdated and doesn’t have any of the newer games that other D&B’s have. But the one positive is that for some reason, the games seem to be easier there. I was able to score a ton of tickets through random games since the scores weren’t that high. Ok, that is just about all I need/want to say on a review of D&B’s.

Visited the Plymouth Meeting location and found the women’s bathroom to be deplorable on a Saturday night. It made me wonder what else was unclean.

The games are always fun to play with the kids. It’s a nice environment. We went this time without kids, grab some drinks and play games, watch some sports. The salad seemed like a good choice on paper but in actuality it wasn’t what we thought. The Thai salad wasn’t very tasteful and a bit small for $ 10.49. The Apple salad(sm) was good but it didn’t have all the ingredients listed on the plate. Albeit a small, but I was at least expecting the little things that make it appealing to be in it. The bar wasn’t really busy when we went in and it took longer than expected to receive our food. The bartender wasn’t very attentive. It took a while to get our water/cocktails so we didn’t bother ordering any more drinks. Overall it’s a nice place to have a good time to just play around and have fun.

The server service sucks. Other then that so far for my first time it’s fun! I’m with a few of my friends and we love the games here!

After my experience at the Dave and busters in times Square I swore I would never go to Dave and busters again, but I came here with some friends after work and everything was great, thank you for succeeding where your other location failed

Bad service & customer service… Arrived at 16:30 with a 1.5 hour wait to be seated, called at 17:36 our table was ready; but, sitting at our table for 45 minutes just for acknowledgement by waiting staff for our drink order, much less our food order!!!

Do Not Go Here !! Okay, this was officially the worse Dining/Entertainment experience in years. This evening 15 members of our family went to the Plymouth Meeting, PA Dave and Busters. We were given 1 server who had our table and several others. After 15 minutes she took our drink orders and after 30 minutes our food order. Almost 1 hr from the time we seated our meals arrived. The sticky menus we ordered from were still all over the tables so we had to move them ourselves so there was a place for the food. Once served no one came over to refresh drinks so we were forced to go to the bar and get soft drinks and beer on our own. When our meal was done we had a birthday cake which we needed assistance with as well as our dinner plates cleared. Once again, no one was in site and we actually cleared the plates ourselves onto a neighboring empty table and got napkins from the bar for the cake. Finally had to track do the server to get our check. Ugg! Then we go down stairs to use the play cards we purchased and I decide to get 2 drinks at the downstairs bar. There were 2 servers and only 10 people total sitting at the bar, I waited 15 minutes to get served and them got attitude from the server like she were doing me a favor. Since it I didn’t even see her ring up the sale I asked for a receipt so I could share the information with the manager. She then gave me more attitude and told me it was not working. At this point I was done, I went back up to the main floor and asked to speak to the Manager on Duty. I was told that she would get to me when she was done with the other 2 customers in front of me who were also complaining about different issues. I did speak with MOD Kat who basically told me Sorry. I am sorry I ever gave this location a second chance. For the record, I have been to the other Dave and Buster’s @Penns Landing, Phila. several times and it has always been great. I rarely complain in fact most of my review are usually very positive but something is definitely off the rails at this location.

Really disappointed in the ticket store. This place was demolished! No prizes and a total mess. Ended up not cashing in our tickets on anything because there was such a slim selection and dirty facility.

So first let me start of by saying I LOVEDAVEANDBUSTERS so this review will be a bit biased. Second, all college kids looking for a good time. Come here ! If you show your college ID, they give you $ 10 free with a purchase of a $ 10 game card. So essentially, you get $ 20 worth of points and only pay $ 10 :). Anyways, for the actual location. It’s a good time, quite smaller than the D&B’s I’m used to, but was still a good time. The front desk in on the second floor but all the games are on the first floor. So be sure to make your way up there first. Also, they have a bar on the lower level so you can refresh while youre playing. My only complaint is that I wish they had a coat check. Playing games with your coat constantly in your hand sucks. So PLEASEINVESTIN A COATCHECK! Anyways overall good place. The bathroom was also clean too

I went for the first time with my girlfriend. We really had a great time. We had to travel about an hour and a half from home to get here. The place is easy to find. There’s lots of parking. We went on a Friday night(around 5pm). We played games first. We didn’t understand how it worked at first, but it helped me a lot once they explained how it worked. They give you a card to load up with«points». You can supercharge and get more points. Supercharging is just getting more tokens for paying a little more money essentially. You just put the card in a card reader to play and it takes the tokens out automatically. The majority of the machines pay out with virtual tickets that get loaded onto the card for prizes/or food instead of actual tickets. It’s easy to play. We didn’t eat any food or anything while we played. There is tons of fun games to play. We personally enjoyed the Mario kart and the speed of light games. We liked that it wasn’t busy at all so we didn’t have to wait to play any games. You can load up more points onto the card while you go or if you run out of points. You can do that by yourself on the machines; which is convenient. We spent about $ 35 on games and we decided to use the points on dessert when we ate later. We played games for about an hour. We went to eat right after we got done playing. Our server was nice but it took a long time to get the check. I wanted just wings extra crispy and my girlfriend got a burger with fries. The wings were small and they didn’t come out extra crispy but it wasn’t a big deal. Food was good. We had a great time and we would do it again soon.

Went here to kill some time with a drink before catching a flick and the ladies behind the bar were great. They were quick to greet and friendly to speak with. The young bar back wasn’t however. He was pretty unresponsive to questions and just glared at you when you spoke to him. When it was time to cash out we used a gift card that had 24 $ or so on it, he gave it back with the same glare and stated«cards declined», I know gift cards can be a pain at restaurants so I paid w my cc. The charge went through and he handed me only the cc slip, which was for 24 $ when we only had 3 beers(he ran the wrong check) at this point the bartenders came over to help and straightened everything out. We probably won’t come back, mostly because this kind of place isn’t our thing(we don’t play video games) but a «fun» environment needs to have a fun personality from the staff as well, try at least pleasant.

Went here to eat tonight as opposed to play games. Maybe that was the wrong thing but we were hungry. We waited to be seated and once seated, realized there were many many empty tables so not sure why we waited. Waited again for our waitress to acknowledge our presence. Ordered beverages, an appetizer and our meals at the same time. Never received the appetizer. Waited 25 minutes for a salad and a burger with no drink replenishment or waitress at our table. Ever. Asked the guy delivering our food for another soda and he said«I’m not a server.» He actually said that. Well Guess what… In not a tipper. Absolutely terrible service and the food, once we received it 30 minutes later, was terrible. The waitress finally reappeared and said I really tried to get back here to you guys but kept getting pulled away! Ok then. Save your money and don’t eat here. Won’t go back.

A few things of note; — second time eating here. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal(Rib and wing combo) and the play card special is always a great deal. — 2 for 2 on above average service. I believe our server was Matt. — they seem to have done away with actual tickets in the arcade, which is great. Still a fan of Deal or no Deal and I loved the Angry Birds game and a virtual Star Wars game. — Fun Fact: This location is considered a Steelers bar. There was a large inflatable steelers guy and a room full of black and yellow clad rabid fans that groaned and cheered wildly during the game. I asked our server about it and he said the managers are steelers fans so they made this a haven for their fans. I don’t really have a problem with this and it was especially enjoyable to see their dejected faces as they filed out after the loss. Their sadness enhanced my meal.

Let me start by saying that you don’t go to Dave & Busters for the food. It’s thoroughly average. The menu items are burgers, chicken tenders and such. The food comes out edible but entirely unremarkable. Like the food, the service from the wait staff is adequate but not exactly good. If you go for the meal, itself, the experience will be disappointing. You do, however, go to Dave & Busters for the games. They have a pretty decent variety of games. Whether you want trivia games, air hockey, ski ball, basketball shooting games, racing games, classics like Whack-a-Mole, or shooters like Time Crisis, they’re there. They also have a bar area on the gaming floor, where you can get large beers for reasonable prices and where they can mix standard cocktails competently. The bar also has plenty of TVs for those who might want to use the place as a sports bar. If the Plymouth Meeting D&B sets itself apart in an area besides simply being a bar/restaurant with arcade games, it’s the staff in the store and on the gaming floor. There aren’t many people there, so it can take a minute to find one and get their attention, but I’ve been surprised at how nice and helpful they can be. Dave & Busters is basically Chuck-E-Cheese for those too old to go to Chuck-E-Cheese(not that it’s unfriendly to kids). If that concept appeals to you, this place delivers it. It’s not particularly good as a restaurant, and the Plymouth Meeting location lacks the character of the one on Delaware Ave in the city, but it serves its role well enough.

Dave and Busters is a nice place to go to enjoy entertainment and a casual meal. I particularly like this D&B(Plymouth meeting) because of the atmosphere that tailors to families, children, teens, students and adults alike. Adults can meet on occasions such as after work events, or just to hang out with friends to chat and watch the games. There are pool tables and bars are on both floors for convenience. Families can dine and have fun playing games while students can enjoy games with their student discount. The food is mediocre yet still satisfying. Overall it’s a great place for affordable, quality fun.
