Navis Pack & Ship

DO NOT USE!
John Sandhu was not a very kind, pleasant nor honest person to deal with. He gave man an outrageous quote of $ 350 to pick up and pack an item that weighs under 25lbs. I mentioned to him that another store in San Jose charged me $ 150 a couple of months ago to ship a similar item that weighed 2x that. I then asked if he could do 2 pick ups in the same day for a location nearby the first one. He Said maybe he can do $ 185ea if I gave him both items to pick up and pack.
Keep in mind I bought this item at an auction and he is most likely already going there for other customers and he still thinks it’s OK to price gouge.
Not cool Dude!
I then asked him to give me a legitimate quote and his response to me was:
my item was too small and it wasn’t worth his time.
Only after receiving several VM and emails from one of his employees asking for a paid invoice and a agent release form.
I guess my $$$ is worth something after all huh?.
I told him I was gonna post up here and all of a sudden he became nice.
First impressions go a long way don’t they.
Bottom line is, be careful and call around other pAck and ship places not under the Navis pack and ship monopoly in the SF Bay Area. Apparently john Sandhu is the proprietor of the following locations Pleasanton, ca/​Hayward, San Jose ca and downtown San Fransisco.
It could be more.
If you call and a john Sandhu or Bobby gives you a quote, reconsider.
I found a place called «Handle with care packaging store» in Oakland with very reasonable rates and are very professional. Ask for Alex. He’s a Nice honest guy.

Do not use this service at all costs. I paid them to ship a custom piece of furniture, which they packed improperly. It was damaged in shipping, and after filing the insurance claim, Navis corporate blew me off for 5 months. We finally received the check today, but after countless hours wasted trying to get them to honor the agreement.
