Got my hair done at this salon, only referral… Ughh the products they use; shampoo and conditioner left my hair looking awful. I got highlights, which seem to be a fairly simple procedure… The girl over lapped the bleach and needless to say, my hair broke where it was overlapped it. I asked her why my ends were so damaged and she acted like she didn’t see what I was talking about, and lastly my scalp was burned from whatever the heck she used. Then, she asked if I wanted her to blow dry my hair!!! Omg really? Wake up… This place has awful customer service and they need to go back to school to learn the basics in customer service and how to highlight hair. Victoria Salon is so much better, they are professional, clean, high class and they use great hair products! Head over its not fair and you get what you pay for!

Negah is the best! I didn’t know what I wanted so I asked her opinion. She gave me long layers and balayage color. I received so many compliments! I loved it. I went back and saw Negah again a few months later. This time I gave her artistic freedom. She gave me «painted hair” – it also looked amazing and cut my hair to midlength. It has been easy to maintain (which is important because I have a toddler and a baby at home). The salon is cute too, and their products smell good.

So glad I found this salon! Being new to the area, I rely on Unilocal a lot. Gladly, I found this salon & Nigah through Instagram and Unilocal!She knew exactly what I was trying to explain I wanted; an A line lob, and I love it! She refreshed my color, also, which is flawless– pic attached. Thank youuu

Came in with some messed up hair and Kari has been taking excellent care of me! It’s going to be a process, but so far she has been giving me excellent attention and such a wonderful haircut! I’ll be sure to post before and after pictures so you can see her magic.

My sister and I have tried this place a few times. Originally, my sister found someone she liked, but the girl left shortly after. I have never had a good hair cut in any of my 4 visits. The girls are very nice, and the atmosphere is great, but the actual hair cuts I received were very sub-​par. We have walked away with split ends, uneven cuts, and incomplete cuts. We just went again last night for the last time. The lady we had didn’t do what we asked and seemed to do the bare minimum to get us out the door. We paid $ 53 each per cut and are not satisfied with the cuts we received. We gave them a few chances and had many different stylists, but in the end, this place is a disappointment.

I love this salon! I have been going to Madeline for 1.5 years and love my hair. Prior to Madeline I had a lot of breakage and my color was dull. Madeline does an excellent job selecting the right color for my hair with just the perfect amount of highlights for pop! She listens to what I am looking for in a style and performs it! Since I’ve been going to this salon my hair has had so much growth that I am on my second set of hot heads extensions that my hair is once again longer than. I no longer need extensions in the back of head, I just use a few on each side for fullness!!! Super happy customer

I absolutely love this salon!!! It’s super nice inside and they have complimentary snacks, coffee, infused water and wine! All the ladies are really welcoming.
Every time I visit I see Malyssa ! She is awesome! She really is good at what she does. I really trust her to do a great job each and every time. She offers good advice and I always let her do what she wants with my hair because she’s the expert… She usually does my extensions, high lights, cut everything really!
Everyone there are all experts at what they do. I highly recommend coming here to anyone who is looking to get their hair done from an expert!

I have been going to House of Cabelo for over a year now and thank the hair God’s for this salon. I have had color correction, Hot Heads hair extensions and overall color and bayalage. I highly recommend Kassie and Adrianna for your needs, they are perfectionists and true artists. I have had a series of bad experiences in the bay area with orange hair and bad cuts but not at this salon. I have never been happier with my hair. Cheers to happy hair!

House of Cabelo is incredibly chic and very focused on providing luxury service. This salon is the answer to all my hair hopes! I was originally looking for a salon to style my hair for my wedding and found them on Unilocal.After a quick phone call and consultation with Malyssa, I felt really good about being in their hands. Not only did Malyssa do a great job for my wedding, I couldn’t wait to come back to her for color and cut. She is incredibly thorough and asks all the right questions (ones I have never been asked before with my hair!). She then takes all your answers and confirms them back to you to ensure she completely understands. So naturally with all the great prep work she produced some amazing results. I really appreciate the way Malyssa can translate what’s in my head to what the end result is ON my head. Customer for life!!!

I went to House of Cabelo for two reasons! 1. I went to school with Bella and she was so great, friendly and a great hair stylist. 2. I had a friend who went there and raved about her experience. Ive never gotten my hair done professionally, because my mom always did my hair. But I knew it was time to grow up and get my butt in a salon! So I booked an appointment with Bella and couldn’t be happier! Loved the color she was able to get me back to! She chopped my hair off and I love it, I miss my long hair though! But its healthy. All the products they used smelled so good. Definitely recommend House of Cabelo and Bella!

OMG, Been getting my hair done there for several years now, extensions as well. Today I got the «ultimates» from hot heads, suggested on my last visit. If you want a little volume or length, they are virtually something that looks like it’s growing from your head. Hair on the outside of the tab. Was able to go super high and give me more volume, I’m so in love with my hair. Can’t give a better recommendation for the absolute talent at HOC and their ability to make you feel amazing :)

Kelly K. is amazing! I’ve been faithfully coming to her for 5 years now. She’s experienced, educated in all the latest coloring and styling trends, and super friendly. She goes above and beyond to ensure I leave the salon feeling beautiful and completely satisfied. She’s a rare gem at an extremely affordable price. I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. Also very flexible schedule to include weekends!

I love getting my hair done here!!! Malyssa has been coloring and cutting my hair for years now, and I couldn’t be happier:) Not only does she always have the best ideas/​techniques for my sometimes (mostly) lazy hair habits, but Malyssa knows my hair and what will work/​look the best for me! Every time I’ve been there for an appointment the other ladies there are so nice as well and are always quick to offer me a mimosa or a cute lil cookie!!! I always walk out of there feeling like a princess:) Thank you ladies so much and hope this was helpful!!!

From the moment I called to ask about general prices for balayged color on short hair, I was amazed by the customer service and the fact I was referred to look at their Instagram account for the stylist appointed to me so that I can view their work and be comfortable with her. I was given an appointment with Malyssa and right off the bat she was welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I showed her a pic of the color I wanted and couple of hours later I was totally happy with the outcome. The place itself is cute, trendy and warm. I plan on coming back… And btw they give you a cute welcome package as a new client filled with samples and future coupons!

I made a same day appointment for a long overdue color & haircut by Madeline at this cute little salon. She was very professional and friendly. I had ugly outgrown orangish light brown hair and wanted to go a little darker and Madeline picked the perfect color for me. deep, rich, dark brown that cleaned up the mess i had. it caused no damage (my hair actually felt softer) but only thing was it wasn’t permanent. i received a few compliments from friends and coworkers :)
As far as my haircut, she was very careful and it didn’t make much of a difference but my fault for not speaking up. so i can’t speak for her skills in cuts. honestly it wasn’t like «THIS IS IT!» and i’d still try different places before deciding, but i’d definitely try again for their reasonable price (~$ 150 + tip), satisfying outcome, and professional staff.
They also offer $ 20 hair cut for a referral and yourself.

Really didn’t want to give a bad review but I really hate my hair color and hair cut. Spent 192 dollar on a ugly highlight coloring. Came in wanting a chestnut brown color but came out with a dark brown hair color with some ugly/​out of date highlights. The rest of my hair color beside the Ugly highlights was the same color I came in with. These highlights are at least 10times lighter then the rest of my hair. Under the sun I look like i have lines/​patches of white hair. I’m 22, I don’t want to look like I’m 50 with white hair .
My hair cut was okay, nothing special. Don’t hate and don’t love.
I guess they aren’t good with asian hair.
I now have to get my color redo another 100+ dollar I need to waste b/​c these highlights are so ugly.
Such a waste of money for an okay hair cut and a super UGLY haircolor/​highlights.
Only plus is the décor and the girls are nice. This place is also hard to find.

The five star review where do i start. Amina the hairstylist is the best! Her customer service is on point she is super nice and she knows her stuff. She is honest about your hair she doesn’t try and talk you out of a color or cut but she does let you know what would be best and lets you decide. I will drive all the way from San Leandro to come to her. I normally don’t trust anyone with my hair but i found my new person!

A few weeks late but I needed to post this review!
I’ve been going to Tiffany for my haircuts for the past year and I love it. I usually go her some direction about how I’d like for my hair to look, lots of volume and effortlessly put together. She’s great with soft layers, especially for finer hair like mine. People always compliment my hair and ask how I have the time to style it. Truth is, I never take the time to style my hair. Thank you Tiff!
I recently went to Tiff for an hombre. I wanted go lighter with my hair color for the summer months. She was able to lighten my hair to a rich chocolate brown with blonde ends. Refer to the posted pics. I got exactly the update I wanted and the compliments keep coming.

I’m from the Bay Area and now live in NYC. I literally hold off getting my hair done until I come home because I LOVE the way Malyssa does my hair. I normally get a color and cut and let’s be honest, I’m a baby about change, so I always tend to want to branch out but chicken out. Malyssa has a way of listening to what I would like to do and then does something along those lines very subtly… which gives me a very nice little change and still keeps me comfortable. She’s very sweet and I never feel like I am being rushed out of there. She’s great at communicating and feel like we are always on the same page. I feel very confident in her skills and have also seen some amazing transformations she’s done. She was made to do hair :)
I recommend her highly, in fact, my mom and sisters also go to her now.
As for the salon itself, it’s very cute. Great colors and very clean. Check in and get a mimosa? Yes please!
