It was an odd location, at the side of a busy road, in the parking lot of an inn. But the food was great. Not many people can get the malai kofta right, specially when you like spicy food, but these guys did. A perfect place for a family dinner or lunch outing.

We ordered the vegetarian stuff. All the food tasted fresh and with the right amount of oil and spices. Naans were really good. Our service was perfectly timed. We got everything quickly, as there were only two families when we were there.

Delicious food that is closer to «home cooked“than any other Indian restaurants that I’ve been too. The mixed plate grill is delicious as are the stuffed paranthas. The service was very attentive and wanted to make sure that things were to our liking. We also really enjoyed talking with one of the owners as he was very passionate about their food and the restaurant and cared about all of the patrons feedback. Will most definitely return for the yummy food, comfortable atmosphere and friendly service!

Loved the place !! Very relaxing ambiance, hygienic & polite waiters. Went with couple of friends. We ordered Aloo Paneer Pops, Hariyali Chicken Tikka, Dal Makhni, Saag Chicken and House-Special Chicken Tikka Salad. Food arrived in 15 minutes as promised and everything tasted fresh & unique as advertised. Oh specially, the chicken was so soft, well marinated with amazing flavors… They are just 2 – 3 weeks old. My relative owns a restaurant in India and I’ve seen the hurdles they faced during the initial few weeks. I’m not surprised by the low ratings here for improper planning because for businesses such as this, it takes a while for them to plan their logistics depending on the demand. So Curry Cravings, You guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work Will definitely recommend …

Very average food. Our order of Chicken curry(regular) had 4 small pieces of Chicken, paneer curry had tomato ketchup. We had to wait for a long time for the food to be served.

I visited this new restaurant in my neighborhood. Was interested in their«organic» Indian food banner. We ordered tandoori platter, Saag paneer and the multigrain tawa roti. The service was nice and warm. The food arrived on time, I would be worried if it arrived too fast :) The tandoor items were really juicy, perfect spice levels. The Saag paneer was the BEST. I loved it and I insisted to meet the chef. I was surprised to hear that they didn’t even add cream but still the curry was yummy. These guys are new and will take a month or so to be on top of their act, but the food and ambience makes you forget those little things…

Good service, quality food with organic ingredients If they maintain same quality, they will differentiate themselves from other Indian resturants in tri-valley Recovered from few initial hurdles and demonstrating customer centric attitude

Nothing extraordinary in terms of food, a bit pricey for the quantity of food given. Ordered tandoori grill, butter chicken and Chana, naan

So, I am going to be pretty honest in my review for Curry Cravings. They tried. They really did. But they didn’t live upto the expectations that were set by friends and fellow Unilocalers. That said, it could also be the customers fault. Our group of 12 adults and a few little ones decided to swing by Curry Cravings for a hearty meal and a get together. We all love food and we all love good curry. Being the new restaurant in the hood and Organic advertising made all of us want to try this place out. One friend walked in early and made a reservation for us, which essentially ended up being one section of the restaurant. Now, this could be the chef’s worst nightmare. Because we did create quite a ruckus. We were happy, wine was flowing(which we brought in and uncorked ourselves). We were all trying to settle in and catch up. Overall, the atmosphere was a fun one. The host came about a couple of times, asking us if we were ready to order. And well, we weren’t. But once we knew what we wanted, orders were flying about. We ordered multiple plates of: Aloo Paneer Pops — Basically your aloo tikki with paneer that was delicious. We wanted the aloo tikki chana, but they were out of chole. Gork? On a Friday evening? What?! Hariyali Paneer tikka — Paneer marinaded and seared to perfection. Slurrp, Organic Housemix Grill — Your quintessential meat platter. Which was salt and marinade deprived. The only thing that stood a chance was the Hariyali chicken tikka. We also wanted a Tandoori chicken, but the were out of the chicken. Again, gork?! No Tandoori chicken on a Friday evening? WHAT?! I was frankly super disappointed in not being able to taste tandoori chicken. That’s like, what an Indian meal is all about! Inventory management, fail. Malai kofta — Basically, this is Aloo Paneer pops in a creamy gravy that was lacking cream. Butter chicken — Salt deprived, tasteless chicken in a creamy gravy deprived of cream. Saag chicken — Salt deprived and tasteless chicken in a SUPER tasty saag base. We also ordered a Kadhai chicken, but the food was way too much for us to be able to finish. Naan — Garlic and regular. Shalimar has me spolied for a good naan. This place needs to work on their naan. It’s way too thin and crunchy. White rice — Well, there isn’t much to say about a white rice. Except that this was the fastest item to come out. Tea — could be boiled more. The main courses were rather bland. Salt deprivation, I can handle. Spice and taste deprivation is something everyone pays for. When«it tastes like home» is your mantra, you really need to live up to it. Because us Indians really crave a good, home cooked meal. In all honesty, I want to give this place the benefit of doubt. Because the food reviews are really great. Maybe the chef isn’t used to cooking for a bigger crowd. Maybe it was intimidating, who knows? Service was also very disappointing. Just one guy manning the area and one host making recommendations on quantities. Food came by slowly. And hungry kids and adults don’t make for good customers. There definitely is scope for improvement. I want to come back for a quieter meal with just the husband, so I can check it out again and maybe even be given the option to give these guys a better review.

I just found this new restaurant serving Organic Indian food. Kids really loved Chicken Tikka Masala, Chana Masala and Naan. Taste is great and feels like home-made food without too much cream or oil. I ordered Kadhai Chicken and Malai Kofta. Food tastes far better than any other restaurants. For organic food, the rates seems to be very reasonable. You can also select from different portion of curries. Try it for yourself.

High expectations, 0 delivery. Waited for nearly 50 minutes, just to realize that at least 3 tables who came way before us were also waiting(too many kids, hard to see parents struggling) Don’t go if you have kids, don’t go if you don’t have at least 2 hours to see food with your eyes. Don’t go if you are short of patience. I really wanted to like this place, sorry hard to go past this. Water tasted good, that’s the 1 star

What a wonderful place! This is a new restaurant in town but you’d never know it! The food and service is excellent! Cozy setting, clean and fresh! The food is simply outstanding! Everything is fresh and organic. It limits the items on the menu but you can taste the the subtle flavors in every dish! The chef even came out of the kitchen to check on the meal! A lovely husband and wife are owners and you can taste the pride in every bite! Highly recommend!

~To go order review~ So here I was going about my daily biz on Santa Rita road when I see a digital banner that read«Organic Indian Food». I don’t think I have ever seen an organic Indian restaurant before! This place has only been open for 5 days so I decided to place a to-go order and do some recon. Here are my observations: –They said my order would be ready in 10 min and it was. That’s a good indication they have their stuff together 5 days in! –The people here were really nice. –The main reason I wanted to do recon was because of the spot… it is a building that is flanked by a hotel/motel. Part of me was intrigued by this and the other part of me kept my head on a swivel. But, once inside you forget about the location. The restaurant décor is nice and makes you feel relaxed in a spa kind of way. –The food: I got the Organic Punjabi Dal Tadka and Whole Wheat Roti. This was a welcomed dish on a cold and rainy day! The curry that the dal was in was flavorful. It was semi-spicy with spices and very subtle citrus flavor. YUM. I am pretty excited to try their other curries! –Prices: I usually think organic is synonymous with $$$ but the prices are comparable with the other restaurants in Pleasanton and Livermore. Side note: The side walk on Santa Rita road has heavy, heavy pedestrian traffic. There are many people who ride bikes(the wrong way) on this sidewalk. It is hard to see them when you come out of the parking lot and there are even signs warning you.

Seems like a new restaurant in the bustling tri valley area. I see a lot of new Indian Restaurants popping up in Pleasanton these days. I guess everyone is appeasing to the Taste Buds of the growing desi population around Tri Valley. Well, the difference I found between Curry Cravings and others is the Organic Part. Yes! They actually organic pulses and vegetables. For someone like me, who’s a stickler for Fresh Organic Food, this place seems like a blessing in disguise. I went by myself, so I ordered Saag Paneer and Yellow Daal Tadka along with Garlic Naan in Wheat and Guava Juice. The Garnish on food made it look more appetizing, but the real test was how it taste. Organic Indian Food taste a tad bit different at first bite compared to other restaurants, but that’s how it used to be during my younger days. Maa-ke-haath ka delicious khana. I felt the warmth in the service as well. I guess its a Family Run restaurant. The service was impeccable and the staff was prompt and polite(I guess they are new, which is why i can expect this kind of a service. Also they weren’t very busy). I wish the Restaurant expands it menu a little bit and going forward stays the same way as it was today. Polite and Warm to their customers. There are too many hecklers running Indian Restaurants in the Bay Area, who know nothing about manners, customer service or hospitality. I could feel the difference here. Keep up the good work guys! ill try come for dinner on one of these days with my Friends. Hoping the experience will only get better :)

Wow, unlike any other Indian Restaurant I have been to in the Bay Area! Fresh, that is what comes to mind… The flavors are fabulous. I must try for anyone in the Tri-Valley if you value fresh foods. The Garlic Naan was the best I have ever had. Don’t let the words Healthy, Natural and Organic fool you… you will love the flavors… I’m so glad it has finally opened. Nice music no blaring TV… just comfortable. Can’t wait to come back.

Very Delicious Food! We saw this restaurant as we passed by on Santa Rita Road and were surprised with the quality and taste of food. This place has all organic dishes and different style of cooking. It tasted different than most Indian restaurants and left a pleasant taste in my mouth. I highly recommend to try this place if you want to try something different.
