Lady answered her cell phone in the middle of ringing up my order. Thermostat said 95 degrees in the place, felt like it was 95 degrees in the place. Diet Coke from fountain tasted like dirty rootbeer infused diet coke with too much syrup. Water all over floor. This place is a mess. Pay for some AC and teach your employees not to be rude. Only reason it’s getting 2 stars is because the sandwich was actually ok.

THEWORSTEVER!!! I beg you to never enter this so called restaurant. The Indian lady behind the counter cannot make a sandwich, has a dirty uniform, totally slow and rude. I’ve been here three times and have never been pleased. AVOID at all cost!

This is byfar the worst subway I have ever been to. I’ve been here twice, the first time I was here I was left with a nasty taste of bad service as the woman working at the counter let the ice tea machine spill all over the restaurant. Despite the bad service, the food was edible. The second time I was at this location, today I ordered the usual meatball sandwich with spinach and bell peppers. However, 6 hours after eating the subway sandwich, not only did I have an extremely upset stomach but also massive waves of nausea. All in all, don’t eat at this subway unless you want to get a stomach bug or food poisoning. Consider yourself warned.

This place suck!!! Believe what you read. I have been here 2 times and won’t be back!!! Only one person is ever working and they are sooooooo slow!!! The lady stopped toasting my sub halfway through, I’m assuming because of the three people behind me in line. Sub par food and sub par service!!!

The service was horrible it took the lady almost 10 min to make two sandwiches ahead of me. When I was waiting the was a person behind me, once it was my turn the person behind me left because she knew it was going to take forever. Don’t waste your lunch time here.

DONOTCOMETOTHISSUBWAY unless you want to go hungry! I’ve been wanting to go to a subway for days and finally my husband and I decided to go. I Unilocaled the closets Subway from the 680 south freeway and this was it. We got to this location and the open was on so we assumed that they were. My husband tried opening the door and it was locked. They had they’re store hours posted on the door and it clearly said open from 9am to 8pm. It was only 7:35pm when we got there. There one person behind the counter so we started to knock on the glass door and he didn’t even respond to us right away. He had his head down for the reason so we knocked again this time with a little more force. Felt like we were pegging for him to open up the door. When he finally looked up and acknowledged us, we asked him if they were still open and he was shaking his head«NO!», he even had his hands up like sorry we are closed. My husband and I started to walk away to get back to our car and that’s when he decided to open the door. I was already pretty pissed off so I didn’t even bother looking back at him. It was almost like he was chasing after us to say or do who knows what! Bottom-line if your gonna have an open sign lit up, this is telling customers that you are open and to come on in. Also if your hours changed then update your signs. Oh you are something else 1300 contra costa blvd! That is all folks.

Not surprising why this place is 2 stars – please help me in boycotting this dump. The reasons: — Poorly staffed and inefficiently run business — I waited 10 minutes while this Indian lady(yes, I know there is a language barrier but that’s no excuse) made 2 sandwiches. 10 minutes? I thought this was fast food. When she finally got to me, I told her my whole initial order(bread, meat, cheese) but she still had to keep asking what I wanted. Again, I know there’s a language barrier but at least have another person in-house to better understand the customer base. — My sandwich price was CLEARLY $ 5(written in big letters on their menu) but because she probably didn’t understand what I was saying, and there were other customers waiting, this ONE employee, worried/flustered, BRUSHED me off and still charged me $ 6.50. I was CHEATED/SWINDLED. Please, please, PLEASE, stay away from this hellhole. Hopefully they go out of business because I don’t want YOU to be CHEATED.

I was craving a Flatizza – I had one a couple of weeks ago. Aside from having a ridiculous name, it’s really good. I did a little shopping in the little strip mall where this Subway is located. I decided to duck in and grab lunch. When I arrived, the restaurant was empty, even though it was lunch time. The employee greeted me. I took a second to look at the menu, then ordered an Italian Sausage Flatizza. I told the woman, who just looked at me. Then I pointed at the board. Then she pointed at the board. i repeated my order about a half dozen times. She seemed to finally get it. She asked me if I wanted a «six inch or footlong» and I knew that this was gonna be a struggle. She started putting salami and pepperoni on the flatbread – to be fair, I have no idea what meats are supposed to go on it, I had a different Flatizza last time – and didn’t put any pizza sauce. I asked for pizza sauce, and she simply said yes(but didn’t put any on it). My pizza ended up being the flatbread, pepperoni, salami, mozzarella cheese, and onions. I was so confused by this point, I just let it happen. When the culinary creation was boxed up, I asked for a side of pizza sauce. The woman ducked behind her into the cabinets, and offered me mayonnaise, then ketchup. I pointed at the pizza sauce in the display case, and she again offered me mayo. I gave up – I figured I have some sort of sauce at home. She fiddled with the POS system for about 3 minutes(another customer was waiting in line by this time) and it was very clear she had no idea what she was doing. She simply said«Five,» and I pointed at the sign above her head that clearly said $ 3.50. She said«yes yes» and pushed another 50 buttons on the POS. I handed her a 5 dollar bill, and she looked confused, and took out money and put it back. She tried to hand me 5 dollars in change, but I told her that I handed her 5, and that I should get back around $ 1.50. She said«oh» and handed me $ 1. Whatever. I took it and left. This woman clearly didn’t speak English – not only was she not fluent or even conversational, she didn’t speak any at all. She also clearly didn’t know the product OR the POS system, and couldn’t count correct change – I have no idea why management would leave her alone to serve customers. I would have given this Subway 1 star except. well, the Flatizza that was literally anything but what i ordered… was actually damn good.

This Subway sucks. We walk in and there is one other customer in the store. There was one worker, an older Indian(as in, from India) woman working the counter. It literally took her 10+ minutes to finish helping that one customer and move on to us. I shudder to think what it would have been like if it had actually been busy! Finally we get our turn. It becomes immediately obvious that the Indian lady behind the counter has a VERY limited grasp of English. Pretty much anything we said was met with an endless response of «huh?, wha?, cheese?, huh?». We asked for a roast-beef with provolone and her first response was«cheese?» I ordered a footlong tuna sandwich, and she made it by putting 3 ice-cream scoop style balls of tuna in the very center of the sandwich. I asked her if she could put more tuna on the edges instead of having ~2−3″ of empty bread at each end of the sandwich and was met with a blank, confused stare in return… I don’t generally have an issue with workers who don’t speak English, especially when it comes to low paying jobs, but when their primary job function is to interact, and communicate with customers, that’s where I draw the line. This shit is NOT acceptable.

Been here twice and both times the customer service was horrible! The person working made a little old lady walk across the street for the restroom. Additionally their produce is not fresh, very brown. Worth the drive to the next subway.

Avoid this place if possible. The service alone should be enough to shut this place down. The two women behind the counter are dreadful. They are unhappy beings who should not be allowed to be around customers. They throw your food around as if they are serving wild dogs.

I’m a student at Dvc and often go here for a quick lunch but I’m really just fed up with horrible service. They always give you something other than what you order and are rude about it. The food is just like any other subway so I’ll just go somewhere else. After today I’m not going back there again.

The two rude women behind the counter scowl at you the entire time, acting as if you’re putting them out by showing up to their establishment. The bread tastes stale. Only eat here if you don’t mind dirty looks and being treated like you don’t matter.

As Emily J. says, this place will do in a pinch. It was also the OK place at the right time, as I needed a quick nosh between errands today. Wanugee also seems to be on the right track regarding certain ethnic groups that are using Subway to achieve what’s left of the American Dream. My sandwich was ready quickly and well, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it service with a smile. I ordered one of my usuals(Tuna, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and no mayo), and to quote David Byrne — «Same as it ever was».

This place sucks ass! I’ve been to this subway 3 times(only because I love subway and this is the closest one to my house) and each time I have walked away disappointed. Currently, subway is offering the buy 2 subs after 5pm and get both of them for 5 bucks. I got a subway club, my wife got the sweet onion chicken teriyaki. and she tried charging me $ 13! I told her about the promo only to find out that they won’t do it! WTF? I was still hungry, so I just paid my 13 dollars. I go to hand her my subway points card, only to be told they don’t do that either! OMFG!

This will do in a pinch. I like that I can get two lunches for $ 5 but I wish that you could get a turkey sandwich as the $ 5 foot long deal. I got the chicken but I definitely prefer the turkey. The rest of my sandwich consisted of mustard and all the veggies(minus red onion) on wheat. I do appreciate that they don’t skimp on the veggies here and that«the works» includes lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pepperocinis, green peppers, pickles, red onion and black olives. I agree that the staff don’t seem excited about their jobs but they make a decent sandwich quickly.
